finally got one of my ultimate dream cars the 55 chevy, there so many cool version out there from American Graffiti Falfa car. To finningans Blasphemi.
I've drove manual shift cars and trucks for over 40 years, glad to see a young person that also enjoys it. People with automatics don't know the fun they are missing out on.
WOW 10K! AWESOME FOR YOU. TAKE YOUR TIME AND PUT GOOD QUALITY PARTS. IT WILL BE WORTH IT IN THE LONG RUN THESE CARS ARE ONLY GOING TO GO UP IN VALUE. YOU'VE GOT A REAL WINNER THERE. CONGRATS! I BOUGHT A 1966 CHEVY C 20 LONG BED FLEET SIDE FOR $6,500 LAST YEAR AND STRIPE IT TO THE FRAME. GOT RID OF ALL THE SUSPENSION AND WOOD IN THE BED. TRUCK CAME WITH A BRAND NEW SBC CRATE MOTOR AND A SBC FROM THE 70S IN THE BED. THE OLDER BLOCK IRON IS BETTER SO I DID A 383 STROKER THAT FIRST DYNO DID 465 HP. TH400 BUILT W/HIGH STALL TORQUE CONVERTER FLOOR SHIFT AUTO AND DID 4 LINK COIL OVERS AND MOSER DIFF AND NEW AXLES AND WILWOOD DISC BRAKES, FRONT NEW CLIP WITH POWER RACK AND PINION,COIL OVER ETC. BUT EVERYTHING IS NEW AND WILL HAVE 80K IN IT, LESS THAN A NEW TOYOTA TUNDRA LOL GOOD LUCK AND KEEP POSTING YOUR UP GRADES.
Cool car I also have a 55 and I love it. I also pulled a 350 trans out of mine and put in a 4 speed muncie. take a look at the rear end gear to make sure you stay comfortable on the highway. You can get the pedal and Z bar on line but they are kind of expensive. I would do the whole floor rather then piece it together. Out of curiosity what was your price point?
You did good. I payed 10k with no engine or transmission and had to drive 300 miles to get it. Mine was rusted out but came with the panels to fix it. They're all rooted out in my area and hard to find.
It's Great when a Young Man loves the "Old" cars. It shows you have a Soul for the past.
There awsome

They really don’t I’m so exited to have a 4 speed car
The car is definitely worth redoing. Nice to see a young man appreciate older cars. Slick back the hair when driving it and white t-shirt. haha
HAHA yes, could get myself a Falfa cowboy hat

Appreciate it sir thank you
What was your price on it? You’d be happier I would say with a 5 speed manual since it would have overdrive. Nice find.
I paid 10, yea 5 speed would be ideal I just happen to have the 4
@@enzomarin0 Understand. A VG deal. 👍🖐️
