If you release the Latin Empire through the Commonwealth mission, not only is the land converted to Catholic, it also becomes Polish, which surprised me when I did it a few months back.
See this sounds like the best move. You can integrate later, but that culture conversion is huge. Not sure the free dev in Constantinople is actually worth it tbh.
Leaves can get sunburns, yes :D we have a Bonsai and it was a little too long in the Sun (in front of the window) and now some of its leaves are a bit burnt :( you need to watch that. Maybe you have to cut of the leaves because they can damage the plant if they mold. Also, water them in the evening, water Drops can lead to a lensing effect in bright sun
For the trees you mentioned, if you use fertilizer, it may be that you are using too much and they are being chemically burned. This is just one suspicion, but it could be a number of things: over watering, under watering, excessive heat/sun, too little sun, a nutrient deficiency. Good luck with the plants bro.
As a Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz direct male line descendant I can safely say this is a cerfified PL GUROM Jan Paweł Drugi Mariusz Pudzianowski Maria Skłodowska-Curie Enigma decryption Mikołaj Kopernik Fryderyk Chopin moment ™®
burnt looking thing on your trees leaves could literally be burn marks. if you water them during the day, the sun heats up the water on the leaves and burns them. water your trees in the evening.
Usually the darkening of the leaves is caused by nitrogen deficiency since a lot of the plants get it from soil and need it for metabolism , your soil components might not be sufficient for large plants or trees
I would love to see you attempt to dominate eastern/central Europe as Poland starting in the times of Napoleon as the Duchy of Warsaw, should be pretty much impossible. :D
Currently doing a Poland run rn (you kinda inspired) me. Currently in the 1650s and I’ve taken basically all of North America and reduced ottomans into a rump state.
Ludi was actually talking about me when he spoke about Copernicus, in fact he calls me Copernicus till this day because I'm of Polish descent and kind of smart. Hi Ludi, you still owe me 200 Leu.
ludi. we need you to play an actual colonial campaign with the randomized new world setting. it'll be very fun to watch ! maybe even a sort of "roleplay" as colonial portugal/england/spain

When I played Poland into PLC, I turned the Ottomans into an OPM that I vassalized for gits and shigs. I also restored byzantium to the point that they were the 7th great power while still my march. Had to let them go though unfortunately

will this series carry on ? im still onsure on how to get the gov change on commonwealth ? cant find much information on it online. mission says 70 absolutism // 90% crown but you cant get it with the 2 estates active from the start ?
hey ludi, once again a very nice video, a small tip from me. try avoiding the word "war" (just make up some other word for it) as that will negatively impact your visibility in the youtube algorythm
what trees you growing? lots of trees(not just maple)produce edible sap, so instead of buying food you can consume the blood of trees to sustain yourself so that you never have to leave the eu4 cave ever again
@@LudietHistoria are these full size trees? or are they little bonzai style trees? cherry tree sap is actually pretty good mixed in with other drinks, or even just on its own
@LudietHistoria Rosaceae such as apple trees are highly susceptible to fire blight a bacterial disease so it could be a good idea to not concentrate this kind of plant in the same area and collect all parts contaminated because there is not really a treatment against. It could be also rust so copper sulfate can be used to prevent (not cure) the leaves.
ludi uploading the poland continuation within a week but still no portugal continuation after 2 months, which btw got the like goal after 5 hours. i feel utterly betrayed
hey Ludi could you cover the expanded mission tree mod? It's really cool and I'm having tons of fun with it, plus it really has a ton of flavor and some OP mission trees, formables and decisions
@@Thunder-is8hl honestly, it adds so much new mission trees its crazy how good they generally are. I have made a Portugal playthrough and it has a TON of new flavor and even a new formable. They also got a new crazy gov reforms. Although France got a huge mission tree in vanilla, in the mod they got more than 120 missions! The Austrian and Polish mission trees also seem crazy fun, aswell as the basic Ottos and England. Of course you may be used to blobbing with these nations already, but the fun with these missions is that they also value developing your lands and give you a longer and funnier game progression. Have fun!
@@hotman_pt_ thanks. And with little nations? I played with Venice and lübeck (the Hansa) and It was amazing. Do you know more nations in Italy ir hre, idk, that also have favor?
@@Thunder-is8hl Yeah they reworked a ton of nations, even small ones. You can form countries like Rhineland, Franconia, Swabia, Francia, Lombardy and all those nations you mentioned got brand new mission trees. Lubeck (and hanseatic league) got a pretty expensive mission tree. Venice got a pretty extensive one too, and has also it's own formables. They reworked basically all regions in the game
15:23 Technically speaking between 1600 and 1610 Wallachia was a Polish vassal and like 200 years before Wallachia became Polish vassal they controlled all of Dobruja, so if you reeeeeeally stretch what means be "Polish land" I think you would be able at least have some very weak claim on Silestre. But rest of Bulgaria? Boy... that would be hard, unless you go way back in time and try to argue that Poland is the rightful "protector" of all Slavic lands. xD At least genetically, if you really, really want to be creative, there is argument to be made that Poles are the "purest Slavs" but now we entering into field that some Austrian painter was obsessed with... And I don't want to go into that minefield. :D

wow okay thats kinda insane, youd think the land would convert and primary culture would be polish, but damn it culture converts too
