Cannot even force it with the console command cause im playing ironmad mode, please help, i dont find any information about it. Some people say its with chain missions regarding napoleon, followed each one and didnt triggered anything regardin this crazy franc

In my recent France WC I was disappointed that they are now an end game tag, but surprised by the very strong permanent modifiers such as cultural conversion (time) and so on which make it an excellent pick or formable for a true one-tag one culture :)
Ahh, yep - I abandoned my Nevers to France run when I realised they’re an end-game tag. Took me a few weeks to accept this, lol. I agree though, the modifiers are insane, especially those from the revolutionary part of the mission tree.

@@StrategySphere theres plenty of courntries i enjoy, you already done Gotland and Nevers! if you are looking for ideas i suppose Burgundy, Hungary and the papal states. in particular i know that theocracies are quite bad for WC so i'm curious how you would do it, what Gov reforms and what things to focus on also especially since the papal states cannot form other countries. For Example i imagine for the papal states its important to get Paris/Avignon/milano and potentially Hagia sophia and Prague's great project up to max to maximize the Yearly papal influence to permenantly stay as curia controller but not sure its worthwhile and something i found out recently is that if you vassalize provence, they get free cores on naples as part of their mission which can make unifying italy a ton cheaper AE wise.

I listen to one part and then you tone changes in a way I take notice or maybe your microphone detects and registers differently it. 23:23 there is a way to not culture convert those german cultures, you can vassalize some electors that u just allied, like mainz trier cologne and the palatine, and then conquer their primary culture and then do that with other germanic culture groups
Yep, you’re right - the conditions require “primary culture” so vassals / PUs would work. That’s one of the reasons I was obsessing so much over the Brandenburg PU (spoiler for Part 2 - I didn’t get it…) 😅
Each time, in my differents games who involves war against Byz and waiting for the Ottos to attack them and drag me to a defensive war, they never attack Byz. I tried multiple times but they just don't and attack bunches of other countries :'(
@@StrategySphere i figured other way. Vassalize Byz, wait for Otto to attack other countries in anatolia and then declare on them. With Aragon i managed to blockade Marmara sea and take all lands in Balkans. Finally crushed them entirely by letting them pass one army at a time to take Gelibolu. 0 troops and 0 manpower. Bye Otto
This makes sense. For me, the 1600-1700 is the most difficult century in a world conquest. So many priorities to go after, and it frequently feels like I’m falling behind.
No reason not to nocb byz and fight england at the same time, and if you can ally burgundy before maine fires, and austria rivals savoy you can usually feed it to burgundy and provence when they get excommed aswell. Also, if maine war happens, taking back cores is a huge mistake - it's a waste of about 30 AE over taking the trade centers on the isles since defensive war.
Hey, great videos!! Im currently doing a russia run, helping myself with you video! I have a question about personal unions, what do you do with them? In my last run as france i had spain, naples, milan and a few others but i had no idea what to do, i couldn’t integrate them (it lasted 100 years for spain) and it never got inherited when my ruler died because they were too big, so i just canceled subject and killed them 5 years later… what is your method?
Well you can keep them till the end of the game if you wish, they count as part of your country for many achievements. Or you can integrate (annex) them 50 years after they become your subject. You would automatically inherit only much smaller countries, usually, like Milan. Does this help? Please let me know, happy to help understand how this works.

Ahh, that’s so random we can’t predict. In my four recent games they attacked Byzantium during my war twice, and twice did not.

Yep, personally I think the Shogunate strategy is powerful. I also avoid playing hordes, couldn’t quite get the hang of it.
