Instead of PU Naples you can follow the Provence mission tree to get Naples. They get cores on all of Naples ( so no AE if you take their lands) and then claims Aragon.
When new swiss?
France also lost the franco prussian war pretty badly. Not just WW2.
Ludi Jean Bureau mean Jean Office or Jean Desk. Butter is beurre in French. By the way i Love what you're doing man
Fun fact, if Jean Bureau is dead and you still don't have finished the mission you can recruit a general, name him Jean Bureau (don't forget the capital letters) and you can finish it
Found this out the hard way. Had Jean Bureau die before the Surrender of Maine and I thought it would be funny to name a new general after him only for the mission to be completed after
Really? I had Jean Bureau die before i started the war against england lol
But it aint the same because Jean Bureau has the siege :(
@@dapimp6861 yes
Do you know if you can name your second starting general Jean Bureau too and finish the mission by having him win 4 battles?
France is so satisfying to play as - until you see England inherit Burgundy...
Do ur missions So u are the one
I prefer to conquer it, otherwise is too easy. It's infuriating when Burgundy releases their pus mid war and game considers them allies so double AE. Happened to me as castile a few days ago
England missions are trash in comparison
Angry French noises
Angry HRE Emperor noises
@@DaxRaider Which mission?
Great Video Ludi, I just wanted to ask: If you have the aliance, the relations and some of the passive favour gain with the Papacy, why dont you use the favours to get back cores of Provence and Savoy? It might save you some AE in europe.
Exactly my thoughts 👍
Just for your information, maybe you should wait next time before you complete the Burgundy mission. In your case, they rival Austria anyway. So if you do the mission after you just inherite them insantly.
Yes, but it's a lot of governing capacity.
It's better to conserve PU until you have gov capacity
@@fabienr.8817 Gov capacity estate privilages and problem solved (from the new missions estates super loyal). Also the extra income from the Lowlands and the full control over the Chanel is so much better.
If you inherit Burgundy naturally you get +1 adm mana for 20 years
@@laca9198 Except if you invade england and hispanic lands like me
Ludi, why don’t you use the returner core favor mechanic to return the papal lands to provence?
Easy to answer. Ludi be wanting em faster. Warmongerer style ;D
Thanks for this video ludi , i'm french and for the 8th may you do a video about France, the day of the end of the War 😉 good job , my Romanin boy
VIVE LA FRANCE !
Playing as France now. Thanks Ludi for highlighting some of the mission tree, since it is so large, it is easy to overlook .
great choice. I played them immediately after new patch and now I cant finish their mission tree cause one idea and even dont have revolutionary ideas :D
Well done Ludy, cannot wait for the next part of this series.
Actually France was during the time of the games (15-18 centuries) a super power.
It is normal for Paradox to make them powerfull.
Found the french
@@bioemiliano he's right though, just like Spain, England and the Ottomans.
@@theortheo2401 for Spain it's only during the 16th and 17th century, it was never very powerful otherwise. the same for England, it only became an important power from the 17th century. only france, austria and the ottomans were powerful from the middle age to the 20th century and france more particularly.
A super power was not even a term back then
Yeah, except during the reign of François Ier, he's remembered as a super monarch and the symbol of Renaissance in France, but he's got his ass kicked several times by Spain while trying to conquer Italy XD
Ludi the island is called Great Britain (you've probably searched it by now). Anyways, i've been watching you the last 7 months and you are the reason i'm playing eu4. Keep it up.
u could just ask for return core under favors from the papel it would prob be like 30-40 favors each but worth it if u wanna keep the alliance
26:00 It's called Great Britain Ludi, lol
Oh man I never considered actually reclaiming the holy land until you now described the extra bonuses. Gah, gonna have to restart my game then.
I still miss the old 1.33 days when England won't even naval invade when you declare on them.
8:28 Taking Pale is an important treaty if you want the big blue blob achievement.
dude i have been watching your videos for more than one year i guess and each one of them getting more chaotic and im loving it (im not a paid actor from mcdonalds) especially in this video with you doing whatever you feel like and having soo much fun made my day i hope you never lose this.
Ok so France is actually an AE monster with those free Burdungy/Provance/Papal state missions.
Sadly there is no information in "Which land your ally wants exactly and how much of them he wanna take during 1 war" I mean you can check their intrest but you don't know if someone will take whole Florence or just 3 provinces.
1. Feed Provance as much you can, so you don't get AE.
In my case i gave him 3 provinces from Brittany, 1 from Pope, Saluzo and bunch of Savoyrian? Lands.
Also 2 provinces for Lorraine.
In exchange i got a lot of favours so if i wanted i could finish that quest faster.
2. Burgundy - Similar as above, each time i had war with someone close to his PU - Gave 1/2 provinces if i could
Feeed Savoy
3. Papal - Had him since start, was slowly feeding him Whole Italy. + Once i knew i wanted to click missions i made few vassals for myself just to give Papal extra provinces.
In my game i had before 1500 all England, close to whole Italy (just few Aragoneese lands left cause i was trying to get PU over Castille, didn't work and i didn't abuse restarts), Standard Vassals as Byzantine/Bulgaria/Styria, Burgundy etc, With close to no AE :D
You could use the alliance favor interactions to ask the Papal States for your vassals code back. Even if you don’t want to keep them as an ally it lets you take the land for no AE in exchange for favors.
Every video starts with: this Nation is insanly powerfull, one of my favrit nations
I don't play/watch EU4 : But someone told me watch this video at 7:40 to increase my PP by 10% permanently. So here I am. This is not what I had in mind for sure.
Ludi, for your culture, Jean bureau doesn't mean john butter but john desk, maybe you already know this but why not remind you that
thanks you bro, I am now more enlightened ^^
I never manage to get the burgundian inheritance as france. They always rival me and when i remove the rivalry through war they hate me
Hey I'm exotic I'm not in my parents basement, I'm in a hollyday home in the middle of the woods even MORE away from civilization !
Yeah, the big island is called Great Britain
I always liked missions where with click of a button we get PU over specific country.
You can save so much AE with such missions ^^.
Ludi for 200k subscribers will you make an onlyfans ?
yes
I had a great France to Roman Empire game in 1.35. Super fun glad to see you destroy as France
Because France dominated Western Europe from the end of 15th century to the 18th century ?
@@fanofcodd even at the beginning of the 19th century.
Ludi, you forget that you can ask Pope to return our Provence cores for favors!
Uhm 1870-1871 Franco-Prussian War anyone?
How many „The strongest nation“s are out there in 1.35? And where is my wallet again?!
He saying France always dominated:
Me thinking about the Franko-Prussian war.
France vs Prussia 1806
Yk just 60 years prior, and before anyone complains (oh twasnt full Germany! It doesnt count and France had more than France, im pretty sure getting out of over a decade of political instability, military crisis against several countries economical crisis etc... winning several coalition wars prior, defeating the 2 other strongest continental Empires like half a year prior makes up for lack of german unification)
Beside losing a war isnt anything new, France was still very shortly afterward back to one of the strongest of Europe just no longer an potential Hegemon.
The only severe defeat that lasted a sh** ton of time really was 1940 and thats really it
So 20% morale from Elan (1.34) is worse second idea than the 15% now? No, Sir, that's a nerf.
this dude makes me start up EU4 every fucking time
Why not take Ceuta from the Portugese in the first war and then you get another free expansion route with basically no ae?
therefore French tanks have 1 forward gear and 5 reverse
why britanny's name of provinces are bro wtf
The island's name should be Albion
5 thousand likes in under 12 hours!
thank you ludi for this special video, merci beaucoup
mi padre
You can ask to Pope for the Provence cores and if Provence get more than 100 dev points you get cores over Napoli, not claims cores and you can get back with not agreesive expansion and remember the new missions of France do more easy integrate Provence.
I subscribed where is the bonus 😢
french ideas are still hella strong, but they nerfed the morale they get from their ideas by 5%
It's funny how you pronounce France provinces above average/a polite ok but Québec province in your Vicky 3perfectly. I knew you where Louis-Joseph Papineau reincarnation all along. I am not biased, I am a noble from Monaco with no political interest in things.
maaaan, i'm sick every time i hear you pronouncing "caen" ! xD
that's not how you prounounce it at all (but like the french wor spelled "quand").
w/e i also love your videos, keep doing the good job :)
I love you!!!
Been watching you for years... how the hell did I fall for the "trick to getting 10% permanent PP" gag? Ugh, time to go back to bed and just skip today.
No ottoman is the strongest one they have to nerf ottos immediately :( how could 500k Ottoman army beat 50k French army in 1530's its ridiculous :(
Lets gooooooo!
The big british island is just called Great Britain. Great Britain, Ireland and the other small islands form the British Isles.
In this case the most obvious answer is the right one
Looks nice, like allways. Don't forget to take Calabria from the pussy Pope to found Naples again and give them back there cores so that half of Italy is yours :)
I just say "Schlacht von Sedan"
"Just like I need the Pale. 'Cause I'm into those Pale people!"
That's why I always conquer Niger.
Castile won that war for Portugal. Tiered 5 religion, what’s that? Never heard of it. Played for like 1000 hrs and I’ve never heard of that.
26:10 - the larger island is "Great Britain" whereas the island of Ireland has been known by various names - Hibernia (the Roman name) and Britannia Minor are two examples.
The more strident Irish nationalists refer to the isles as "the Atlantic isles" disputing British ownership of Ireland.
Lore of Why FRANCE Is THE STRONGEST EU4 1.35 Nation momentum 100
How much total income do you have as France normally on 1500 a.C?
ludi, why would you dissolve alliance with the pope when you could use favours to have them return cores to provence?
you sided with them in the first mission so I assume youre going for the Papal March just keep the alliance and beg for the cores back
omg that renaissance pronounciation while playing france is a DISGRACE
I just fot an add saying something about steam getting sued for an illegal monopoly... Like bro leave steam alone, they did nothing wrong. I love steam!
"France added Ottomans as historical ally" (which has entire Egypt and North Africa) ...
La France éternelle !
Now I regret not waiting for patches :( Save scummed 12 times and didn't get a PU with Provence so...
When Ludi says your pp increases %10 he mentions your "pp" so subscribe guys make your girlfriend happy
Ludi owes us a ton of second parts 😭
The problem with the mission tree is that you need to own or have subject own naples inorder to complete the mission that make pope your march. But sometimes pope can do it himself, which is super frustrating. The should also make a condition that if you align with pope and the pope control the naples also can complete the mission
Ok mr et Historia, we had some fun, you got some likes, now - where's my brandi campaign?
'Me watching my PP grown', so 10% makes me above average European.
Very nice
Ahh, the new France.. Nothing like my own vassals going to war with each other and forcing each other to release other countries and wrecking my diplo relations slots.
Funny how you talked about Zimbabwe billions. Their dollar or what worths kind of the same as hungarian forint🤣
France is so strong, that I PUed them as England, then absorbed them into my Angevin Empire.
I really started cant having any fun with eu4 because of these fucking missions which makes an already 'easy' sp even easier
The 1.35 make french mission tree so historically accurate, it's beautiful
Pula is the currency in Zimbabwe😂, so you are millionair in PULE, only Romanian know
I will remind you of the Franco-Prussian War when france got their ass kicked back to Paris 0:37
Great Britain is the main island, UK includes northern island and the British Isles includes Republic of Ireland and the surrounding small islands
Ive noticed a lot of RUclipsrs have the same game of Ottomans not expanding into Mamluke territory. Otherwise, cant wait to do a new France playthrough!
ottoman ai is confusing because of new mission tree.
After getting called out for being in my awesome basement against nuclear threats I unsubscribed and conquered France as the Ottomans
I subscribed and all I got was my wallet back.8/10 would subscribe again.
newbie question., when as early as possible to declare war for palestine area.. bcoz its too far to core in 1460s
here's your SCHNAPPELDOUP in the chat :)
Can you make Orlean guild with their insane goverment?
great vid
18:38 wtf
+10 pp 😂
How was Portugal still occupied by Granada after the peace?
Wir wollen Teil 2 Ludi. Und zwar SOFORT!!
Prospering times 3;5;3 dev, WHAT???
BuT lUDi, Y u No ReTuRn CoRe FoR pRoVeNcE fOr FaVoRs?
couldnt you just us your favors with the Papal States to get those cores back?
What were the provence/burgundy expoits?
did provence lost the core on the pope land ? because if not you could just trade the core provinces from pope for favors
you could just in the second part of the video beg the pope for provances cores via favors
you can keep the holy orders and swithc back to the offensive pope branch u get to choose another option when u do the mission alpine pass.
When it is France, I see no cries for a nerf. They didn't even have toilet tech 3 back then.
Ludi please stop hitting me I already suscribe.
I need more bullets i need more bullets bigger weapons bigger weapons
Fun Fact: Surrender is derived from Norman French...
you now , present president is more like no taxe fore every one

why is France ww1 map without Corsica on the video preview
