I believe that its not Silvio in Many Saints of Newark, but rather it's his more experienced older brother.
That was an unbelievable Edie Falco impression! She sounds exactly like her, the intonations and speech patterns are spot on!

Kate's Edie Falco is like my favorite thing ever.
Kate is the best part of everything she does. She's a first-class actor, which is easy to forget when she's doing SNL "comedy" (which is hit or miss).

Ironically, HBO is now doing a prequel called "The Many Saints of Newark" with Gandolfinis son playing a young tony. It will be about Christopher's father Dicky, whose last name is Italian for "many saints"

At the end of the movie I ask my self. that's it? I wanted more which what I think most soprano fans will want from the movie. also 2 hour long movie David chase really did not want to make the movie feel long but another 30 min like fech la mancha card game or see Jackie Sr even some more Paulie in the movie would have been fantastic.
