- Using an engine that was sucked-full-of-mud, in this thirty minute video, Jim explains how to rebuild the engine on GasGas trials and Pampera motorcycles as used in the model years from 1990 through the 2002 "Edition 02" models.
(NOTE: This video is not applicable to the GasGas "Pro" engine used from 2002 to present day)
Without doubt one of the best assembly videos I've ever watched
Thanks for continuing to share your knowledge on these machines, you are boon to Gas Gas owners everywhere.
Thx Mister, it's a real big help for those liking mecanic and not having money enough to be supported by a dealer all the time. Cheers from Belgium !
A great in-depth video, that is a lifesaver when you have to strip down your Gas Gas jt25 engine. thanks for passing on your knowledge.
Great instructional video, thank you. Also great camera angle can see everything your doing clearly.
What a legend you are Jim 👍🏻 thank you
Great video as usual.. Fantastic info for GG fans... 👍
Excellent vid. Thank you.
Buen trabajo! Un saludo desde Bilbao!
You are an artist!!
Hi great videos always watch your channel before starting work on mine, just a quick question, what would cause galloping type revs as the bike returns to idle from revving fully in neutral. The bikes a 1996 jtr, it does not do it all the time eather, it will sometimes idle normally but then sound like the timeing has changed as if its changed settings automatically its weard the bike pulls fine..
seems you have an air leak. (the symptoms are typical of a lean condition) and it is odd that it is not consistent. Could be left side crank seal. could be intake manifold in front of carburetor, could be jetting issue or even a partially obstructed pilot jet.
Thank you!
Спасибо ! Класс ! 👍🤝
Whats the difference in the Trials and Pampera engine ?
In the Pampera engine, 3rd and 4th gear are slightly different ratios. This makes the six-speed Pampera gear ratios more evenly spaced. The Trials engine has the first four gears very close together and 5th and 6th are stepped higher for higher-speed trails. Other than this, the Pampera engine is exactly the same as the trials engine.
