I really hope that gasgas will return his power and conquer the whole world. As the owner of a montesa - gasgas txt is the best bike for trial! sincerely wish you good luck!
Awesome video, it's amazing to see a great brand investing in trials and combining technology with Albert's master knowledge of the sport. I would love to see a Q&A with Albert and listen to him share what he feels has been improved and which were the weak points of the previous GG generation (I myself own one so am very curious about this!). Also, is the rear mudguard going to be this 1-piece design for the production bike? In the video it seems very flexible, which is alright, but are you sure it will not break like Betas? (100€ almost every crash...)
yes, that ossa was great: fuel injection, the piston oriented backwards for more stability, the exhaust expansion chamber under the seat, I would love to have one of that bikes again in the market...
The bike is nice, but I still think that the weak points of the bike, like the intermediate gear and the starter gear, have not been improved. I am the owner and client of the brand (from +10 years and in the red and blue modality). The interior elements of the bike are still very fragile. I know that each brand has its positive and negative aspects, I am not against any brand because I like all models. But the brand with the best mechanical and resistant finishes is the Beta Evo, the Trs had the same problem as the Gas Gas and improved it, which is normal. I hope that this message reaches Ktm or Gas Gas and improve the weak points. Because every time I change the intermediate pinion or the starter pinion it costs me more than €180 and the average duration of the element is only one year. A cordial greeting.
While the kickstart mechanism is weak, it should last quite a while if you're easy on it. Slowly bleed off compression before jumping on it. Most guys I see just kick it, and it'll never last if you do that.
How can you say that - maybe you don’t know history and capability of KTM , vertigo does not have the technical knowledge and resources of KTM group - not even debatable , worlds apart , every sphere KTM has entered they have won - that’s Moto GP, Dakar , Supercross , Enduro etc but the main thing is delivering reliable bikes and good customer back up for the product - small manufactures often fail on customer service and quality and the old GG was a classic example of such , the main weakness of vertigo is dealer back up , sure Vertigo is a good bike but nothing exceptional that cannot be equalled or bettered and the danger of small niche company’s like vertigo is that when the owner gets bored they disappear , small company’s don’t have buying power or control over manufacturing ‘ suppliers - KTM does, which means better pricing and quality control/supply , So GG may catch up and overtake them and most likely will for the average joe , so never say never !
@@orange1666 I say this because Vertigo are a smaller company and can move forward easier with less complication , like fuel injection, trellis frames , cross flow radiators and low slung fuel tanks which they already have , Gas Gas hasnt improved their bikes radically in 20 yrs
Don't get me wrong, I like Gas Gas but how long is Gas Gas going to stay in the dark ages? Where is fuel injection, where is the remote tuning? Every Gas Gas Trials bike I have seen in the past 20 years is just more of the same. You are not trying hard at all. The current riders and mechanics are tech savvy, there is no reason to have a carb and stuff around with jetting and adjusting fuel mixtures. Montesa is fortunate to have Honda but even Vertigo is trying to move 2 stroke forward. Hell, Ossa did more for 2 stroke Trial development than anyone else in the past 11 years and it was unfortunate that they had a poor designed gearbox and weren't financially bailed out like Gas Gas. Aside from that, Ossa had true potential. Gas Gas has been given another chance at life, do something meaningful with it.
It seems like GasGas always has to be the lower-price, lower-performance, lower- technology brand compared to KTM and Huskvarna in the Pierer AG Company? Is there true competition between brands?
The intent to focus all effort on creating production machines that with a factory rider, are good enough to win WTC events, seems to be something that has meant bikes which are fragile, unreliable, and difficult to ride for less able competitors? Whether this is a good thing, is reflected by the sales figures for new machines, and of course the number of new riders coming to the sport.
@@timlewis5527 But i think trials market is so good that we always have a choice like trs or vertigo. I love trs, in my opinion it's a little upgraded gas gas 🤩
Shame Suzuki didn't have this technology for stress testing when they made the beamish. everyone cracked the frame under the tank.upper cradles all gave way with front end down force. I'd still sooner have a 1970s Beamish than these bikes.
This is the future of trial! amazing next steps for this industry, THANKS GASGAS!

Impressive new bikes!
I’d love to have a long-term bike to review. 😉

I'm glad to see KTM group doing some development on trial. I do wish they had come with fuel injection, and estart.
Gas gas were always my favorite trials bike. I hate to sell it! I would love to buy it again.
If they change the quality they’ll sell a lot of bikes. Let’s see the reviews when the new bikes are launched.
Please add an E-start to compete with TRS. sure it won't be for the pro's but us regular riders will buy it
Ha ha!If their talking about Carb Two stroke-They already loosing market!!!
Picking up my 23 txt 300 next week
Cant wait to se it with my own eyes!
My dream motorbike, a perfect trial motorbike but spare parts are rarely available in Indonesia
I have ridden one Trials bike since it was new in 1976. I'd like to own a modern, larger displacement version of my 48 year old 175cc.
I've worked on too many trial bikes....
1 -Put things where you can get at em.
2 - fit grease nipples to the linkage.
Would be cool to see you jump these at a nitro circus event, I would love to see a 360 jump on one of these.
I love This bike
So a true ktm prototype exists / existed. Will it ever see the light of day?!
Should have just re started the ossa efi bike again….years ahead of all of the manufacturers..

KTM hat den Trialmarkt nicht verstanden.Ein tolles Bike nützt nix wenn der Service vor Ort nicht da ist.
Develop me a 1,000cc 2-stroke twin! Dirtbike that can lay down 170hp or so....I'll ride the f$$king beast!

They'll always be playing catch up to Vertigo

Where is the electric one?
What about the brand new electric model? ♻🔋👏💪🔝❤
Damn shame they ain’t coming out of the old bultaco factory that’s for sure
Definitely need e-start and fuel ⛽️ injection..

Honda 4stroke trial bike: nice try guys....
I hope they will not do what they did to husaberg. Trial industry is not the same like enduro and we still have better gas gas copy (TRS)
Commiting to a nee model would indicate that they don't intend on gutting the brand. Yet....
@@timlewis5527 Hehe i hope so cuz i love gas gas trials and i don't want to see asian parts inside them like i see in KTM/husky or GG enduros
