So Bunny uses the buttons to converse with herself?!
That's an incredible discovery. She's beginning to think in words, not just translate her thoughts.
Wait, so... she was thinking out loud and asking herself "I wonder when Shannon is gonna show up" or did she actually know you were going to recieve her words? Both options are mindblowing.
Whe my pupper Nelly was alive, I used to miss her so much when I was at work that I wished I could send her a text message or receive one from her. This is blowing my mind.

Wait. So the buttons have an app which allows you to know what buttons were pressed when you're not around? That's a HUGE game changer in my book! One of the concerns I had was, what if I get the buttons but my cats press them and I can't hear what they said? If I can get a notification I can see what they said even if I'm in another room. That's fabulous.
Giving Bunny (and other animals) a voice is amazing. Some of the things Bunny says are really deep and existential like “Why sleep” or “Why Bunny” What human has not asked themselves these introspective questions and to hear Bunny say it too is mind blowing. To know also how she has a concept of time as in before or later, or especially tomorrow and yesterday, or that she knows what “forget” means. I especially like “Love you” because she knows exactly what it means and how she wants to use it and she says it when she means it and not because she’s tricking you into getting her a treat. What you have done together is amazing and outstanding and I now feel really sad and guilty that I never gave my own beloved doggie family members the same gift when they were alive. It’s so wonderful. Love you Buns you make my day ❤❤
I've always felt that dogs understand what we are saying. Now they can communicate in human! Bunny and you are lovely.

Yes! If an app could be created with the buttons and she could just push the buttons on her phone, and they would talk where Bunny is!!!

I am positive my Bauer would have had no problem using the buttons. I wish we had them when she was alive. I swear to you, she could spell. Her favorite thing was chicken and ham. I started to have to spell it so that she wouldn’t know what I was talking about and she figured it out. So then I had to start making chicken noises and pig noises. She also figured out how an elevator worked.
I have a question that doesn’t pertain to this, but I don’t know where else to ask. Why does your beach have so much porcelain? It’s a puzzlement to me.
Alexis answered that in an old video. It falls through the cracks in the decks hanging over the beach. I suppose some could be flower pots that fall from the decks.
I'm going to have to put off watching this. My dog is texting me.
Like others and yourself, I am amazed by Bunny's text. I wonder if whether she was talking to herself or if she knew you would get it. Regardless, she is precious like all of our dogs, and I thank you for sharing your time and Bunny's journey with us. Please write a book someday or a comprehensive documentary.
I have been fascinated with Bunny and I got buttons and we taught our dog Lucy to talk. I had no idea you were so pretty.
Oh my gosh; how cool that Bunny and Otter can text you now! Can you respond on your phone or computer and have the answer come through the speaker for them? That would be life changing for so many dogs, to be able to connect with their people while they are away.

I truly do love this, (Newbie- My connect kit is on order) but in our absence, it must be incredibly frustrating that we can't respond by talking back to our pups.
I'd love to see pets using these as domotics controllers.
Hi! Do you have some way to talk back to her when you're not home? I know there are videocamera systems with screens that allow you to call your pet but never seen someone using them
Oh yeah! There are cameras that you can talk to your pet through! Great idea!
Bunny is awesome!! How she just understands literally everything you tell her! ❤ Questions: Did she press the buttons for your husband or was no other human present? Or for Otter maybe? 😄 Or does she know you can hear her now when you're away because of the new system, did you tell her somehow? ...or maybe did she always press buttons even when nobody was home? Do you know if she ever did that? ...so many questions, sorry!

My pup still isn't using the buttons. It's been almost 3 weeks
It makes me wonder, if stray animals could talk, what would they say? 😔

wait. so she knew that pressing the buttons was "talking to you"?
It could be that Bunny commonly presses buttons even when no one is around, similarly to how we humans "talk to ourselves".
Dad was probably home but mom got an auto text from the fluent pet system.
