I feel like if this ever happened SHFiguarts wouldn’t be the master toy partner just have the license to make merch like how ge is making sonic stuff but isn’t the master toy partner
Changes: •Model based on Sonic 06’s model for more articulation and less weight problems •less human-like proportions •Revoltech joints used on elbow and knee joints for more articulation, and to keep that smooth design •Toe joint for more dynamic poses Now that the main base is done, here are some changes with the figures themselves Sonic: not a lot of changes, just more close to my concept Tails: shorter, slightly bigger, tails would be on ball joint (multiple tails), and normal hinges on arms and knees instead of Revoltech joints Knuckles: shorter, slimmer, matches Sonic, rubbery dreads, and bigger fists Amy: shorter, slimmer, and rubber skirt I think these small changes would greatly improve the original design, keeping it within the style of shf, but still keeping a accurate design. I give your design a 5/10

@@SCTerraconStudios btw the reason I chose the 06 designs is mostly cause they keep it consistent and yet easy to change if necessary, for example knuckles has thicker arms and torso than sonic, but if made bigger it won’t change a whole lot or make it stand out as a separate design
@@TTG-37 no I meant as in a collectors item I've seen spider man break before from parallel universe back in 2020 06 Sonic's build wouldn't be super fit for that he might just fall over 🤣 I think giving him his classic or Dreamcast build would be sturdier for just Incase purposes 👍

I think an shf sonic line would take inspiration from 06, riders, and boom by making the characters more lanky so they can stand without much issue, as well as probably having some articulation in the certain characters quills. Aside from proportions, I do wonder what accessories a sonic or knuckles figure would come with in this line.
Sometimes SH.Figuarts does variants. So what if Sonic had a Feels the rabbit variant. Also if you make this a series, if that's ok with you, could you do some IDW characters. Hope you don't get sick again so you can keep up the good work.

I feel like you shouldve used the upcoming dragon ball daima figure sculpts. (I dont know if at the time of the video being recorded they were being revealed)
I collect monsterarts (the godzilla line) and I would love for them to make sonic figures I dont even think they'd need to change the proportions they've made godzilla junior work who has tiny arms and the hands weighing down the figure wouldn't be an issue due to them using a lighter more flexible material for the hands on their dragon ball stuff
I think that sh should make their usual articulations on them and give them a personal accessory, give them facial and hand gestures. That is what I’ve been wanting for sonic figures
You know they could still make these figures while having the jakks pacific license. Diamond select was gonna make sonic figures but cancelled last second like 2 years ago
As epic as figuarts figures would be, no. They'd likely be expensive as hell, and nowhere neas as accessible as Jakkd figures are, and that's without the scalpers.
I feel like if SHF made figures ALONGSIDE Jakks still making their line of Sonic figures it'd be no big deal. People who want good but cheap figures could buy from Jakks and people who want premium and high quality figures for a greater price can buy from SHF.

I don’t think I’m ready to buy a standard sonic figure for more than 10 dollars. Jakks already dries out my wallet. I don’t need 20 or 30 dollar figures to make me go broke.
Shf can't be the master toy partner because of sales jakks sonic is 5_10 dollars easily affordable and fair shf on the other hand will have you cut off both arms and legs in order to get it for the kids. Ik it's what if but it doesn't make sense because it'll be an unfair price range especially for a toy made for kids 5_10+
I still like the idea don't get me wrong but it should be a collectors thing and not a T O Y that's made for children because they aren't getting it unless their parents are filthy rich or have an inheritance check. They won't anytime soon they can still make figures without being the master toy partner When it comes to articulation they normally do a really good job at hiding gaps so I wouldn't worry about that if they did start making sonic figures
