The original design in the Chris Pratt poster wasn't game accurate, but I definitely still would have been willing to give it a chance! It looked FAR better than the design in the initial worldwide trailer.... like, 1000x better.

for me, it was a pure marketing move. the ugly look made twitter go nuts and had all the people talking about it through every social media. then they changed the model and they looked like the people who listen the fans.
