    Hey guys, I forgot to mention the battery life 😅. But I did get the same result for both watches. I got on average 7-8 days of battery life with the Venu 2S & Vivoactive 5. Both have a great battery life in my opinion!

    Great video AbbyBReviewing :) and I love the Venu 2S smaller size and I cant have a watch without floors climbed personally.

    This vid is exactly what I was looking for! I was on the fence on both since currently there’s only a $20 difference right now on the sites I was looking at. Just got the venu 2S :)

    I like the upgrades on the Vivo 5….that sleep sensor includes a nap sensor and I like the HRV. I actually like amoled displays better than the transflectives. Ihave issues getting the charger to stay plugged in on the 2S and I can’t get the weather on my 2S either.

      Thanks for sharing! And I do like AMOLED displays as well, just not on my Vivoactive's. We already have the Venu series that has AMOLED displays for those who want it, but there are no new stylish compact Transflective display options. I was looking forward to the Vivoactive 5 being that new watch, especially with the Venu 3S release that already has an AMOLED display HRV, new nap detection and a plethora of other features. I think the Vivoactive 5 is a nice watch I just think they should have branded it a Venu light or something and gave use a Vivoactive 5 with high quality materials, all sensors and a Transflective display as well like the previous versions.. The Vivoactive 5 and Venu 2S do use the same charging port and cord. And hmm the weather issue may be due to your phones privacy settings if not enabled I know weather won't work. But I'd definitely reach out to Garmin's customer service for assistance, if that doesn't fix it, and/or to talk about the charging issues.

    Which one would you recommend for runner and I also go to gym frequently. Thanks.

      @AbbyBReviewing  7 дней назад +1

      @edelwayscheryl2562 hello, they c•¿ both work well for that, but if you like to run outdoors, I'd go with the Venu 2S as it tracks altitude/elevation while the Vivoactive 5 does not.

    Hi!! Im torn between the venu and the vivoactive mainly because of HRV. Does hrv matter a lot? In what situation should I consider HRV important? Thank you!

    • @AbbyBReviewing
      @AbbyBReviewing  5 месяцев назад +2

      Hello! I dont really use HRV much, to be honest. But, I know it's a feature many people like, especially runners. It measures your heart rate variation during sleep, taking into account your physical activity, recovery sleep, etc. It's supposed to help you understand how your body is dealing with the challenges of life, activity, environment, etc. You have to decide whether that is important to you or not. For me, i dont miss it when i dont have it, but for some, it's a must have feature.

    I like all the health trackers on Vivoactive 5, but I'm looking for a smaller size smartwatch since I have a 5 inch wrist. If Venu would have the nap sensor and sleep coach I'd buy it, but have to keep looking. Any suggestions for a small size smartwatch that has the most health trackers, body battery, nap sensor and sleep coach etc.?

    • @AbbyBReviewing
      @AbbyBReviewing  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hello, as of right now there are no smaller watches with all those features. So you do have to pick choose something things to leave out if you want a smaller option like the Venu 2S, or Lily(both have body battery). Or go with a larger watch that has all those features. Or wait for a potential new watch to come out with everything you're looking for.

    thank you! A question, does the Vivoactive calculate the meters of elevation climbed in the mountains?

    • @AbbyBReviewing
      @AbbyBReviewing  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hello! The Vivoactive 5 does not do that, it cannot track elevation. However, the Venu 2S and even the Vivoactive 4S can track elevation meters/data.

    Since venu2s is a comparatively older model (2021) would you suggest it would be worth investing in that?..like will it get outdated after few yrs..im a beginner to the garmin series and plan to buy one that would last me at least 3-4yrs..its on sale right now so not much price difference between venu 2s & vivoactive 5

    • @AbbyBReviewing
      @AbbyBReviewing  9 месяцев назад +2

      Hi, yes I would still recommend it! When you're talking about it being outdated, I'd say Garnin is fantastic about putting out updates for many years. For example the Vivoactive 4s i have that came out in 2019 is still getting updates now in 2023. And looking at these two watches they both have the same solid heart rate sensor even years from now it will still be good in my opinion. And I've said whihc watch I prefer in this video, but which one I'd best for you is definitely your decision.

    Hello. I recently purchased my first Garmin watch, the Vivoactive 5. Overall, I like the watch, however I am learning that some features I thought were "standard" with Garmin devices are not compatible on this watch. For example, I can create running routes in Garmin Connect, but cannot load them onto my watch. The same is true for creating a workout. I can create it in Garmin Connect, but when I try to send it to my device, the message is "not compatible". Can you confirm this or am I doing something wrong. I'm frustrated...I'm debating returning the watch for another that has these capabilities, but frankly the Garmin product range is challenging to understand, especially for a beginner. Any insight you can give would be appreciated. Thank you.

      I think your device is tripping. Works on mine.

    • @AbbyBReviewing
      @AbbyBReviewing  10 месяцев назад +4

      Hello Mike, I'm not having that issue, I'd recommend making sure both the app and your watch are fully updated and try again. If that doesn't work, I'd reach out to Garmin's customer service for assistance.
      Also, the Vivoactive 5 is a low-mid level tier watch from Garmin. You can know this by the lower price, that it has fewer features, cheaper marerials and sensors than some of their more expensive mid-high tier options. If ever in doubt, check out Garmins' website and head to the spec section for a full breakdown of the materials, features, activities, and all sensors available on a particular product.

    Do you think either of these are worth upgrading my garmin vivoactive 3 for?

    • @AbbyBReviewing
      @AbbyBReviewing  10 месяцев назад +6

      Hello, these watches have an AMOLED display vs memory in pixel display on the Vivoactive 3, also different features & sensors so you'd need to consider exactly what you need in a watch, to see if it's worth the upgrade to you. But overall some benefits of these watches are longer battery life, faster watch, newer operating system & features.

    Does the vivoactive 5 look good on a smaller wrist?

    • @AbbyBReviewing
      @AbbyBReviewing  9 месяцев назад

      Hi, I've only tried it on my wrist 7", I find it a little big but think it looks nice. People with even smaller wrist may find it a little big but that's all personal preference depending on the person.

    I bought Venu s but I am not receiving notifications unless I am right near my phone?
    This was not the case with my last fit bit
    Is this something you have experienced? Its very annoying and seems pointless to have the feature if you need to be right near your phone xx

    • @AbbyBReviewing
      @AbbyBReviewing  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, you have to be within bluetooth range of your phone/ have wifi turned on. Hmm, I only get my fitbit notifications if I am near my phone. It's interesting to hear that wasn't the case for you.

      I hope this fixes it
      Will let you know if not
