Dude, I'm pretty new to astrophotography and most of what I have been learning has been from channels like astro backyard and nebula photos. While they have taught me much, I only recently stumbled upon this channel, and I have to say, your tutorials are absolutely amazing. I love how your videos focus more on actually teaching the full process from start to finish rather than just showing off your work. I know, thats a funny comment on a video that's literally just you showing off your work .😂 Keep the great content coming!
Cracking images fella. I've been following you for a while and your tutorials are always helpful. Now if I could just get this Scottish weather to play ball, I might be able to capture some data with my new set up (Star Adventurer GTi and Asiair mini). All the best for 2023.
Walt- your videos are awesome. Perfect mix of informative and entertaining. I am just starting out and have a Canon T5 and T3i at my disposal and am torn between dslr and an astrocam. My main concern is heat, humidity and noise. I live in a swamp, er, l mean central Florida, and wonder how you deal with/how much of a problem is the climate for you?
The Cygnus Region looks amazing. I'm new to astrophotography and recently got a good, very first stack of Andromeda. The Cygnus Region is next, gotta get up early in spring tho
I’m tryna take a picture of the andromeda galaxy with my iPhone n a telescope but when I put the picture in deep sky stacker, the stacked image comes out all white n you can see the galaxy, n when I put it inna editin app it when I edit it doesn’t change. Any way I can fix this?
Another great video. Always a pleasure to watch. I'm finally taking the leap into ap. Thinking about giving my old 35mm film cameras a whirl. Have you ever used film for AP?
Hey Walt. Why would you rather get a stock camera instead of the modded one to your island trip? The risk of ruining it and the color balance for nature pics maybe? Happy holidays and thanks for your awesome content!
So Alnitak was blown out with a halo around it. To cover it up I used a Photoshop plugin called StarSpikes Pro by Pro Digital Software. So yeah I cheated a little.
Excellent video Walt. Great way to end the year. I know how much you like Cyngus. Have you ever tried cepheus region? The Elephant trunk and Iris are there. Or Bode's and Cigar up above the big dipper? Lots of cool stuff all around up there. Not to mention Cassiopeia region too. Just some ideas for you to try sometime. Keep up the great work and Clear Skies!!!!!!!
Excellent video Walt! You have come a long way in a short time. I have been following you from your first videos and always look forward to the next one. Thanks again for all your hard work it definitely shows in your videos.
Always an enjoyable watch, Walt. Have been meaning to ask for a while: Do you create the music for your videos? I've noted the equipment you have and have wondered if you do.
Loved it Walt! Im after the WitchesHead with a 65mm Quad, ASI 183 on EQ6 R Pro, Bortle Skies 6 so any recommendations for a filter to use ? Thanks! Simon
This is so amazing!!! Congrats!!! Subscribed to your channel when it had 500 subs, so that I could follow you at the same pace... Now look at you!!! Happy for you and all your future successes. Happy New Year to you and all Astro lovers.
@@deltaastrophotography LOL. I was born in 77, and as a kid, I remember watching the black and white Godzilla movies on TV. Godzilla, The Incredible Hulk, westerns, etc. Good times.

It's really important to me to let people know how to actually do this stuff!
I've never said "wow" so many times in my life before, but I did after seeing every image in this video.... Absolutely amazing work, thank you!
Thank you so much!
Nice set of images and presentation. I especially liked your Witch head. Sorry to hear about the theft... CS!

Really like your content. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
EQ-6r became by demand as Astro-Physics mounts, eh. Backordered for 10 months.

Great watch Walt, I always enjoy your videos and tutorials. keep it up in 2023 👍👍
Great images Walt! What a year you had 👍 Area51 November being my favourite

Walt it was my honor calling my shot the Rodan nebula and you taking that on! Kaiju fans!!!
You have got such an extreme gears for your Astro. I could see they cost a lot. We are doing what we love though.
Thanks for sharing
The pictures are amazing! I'm starting to take some photos, most of them are planetary photos but I also took a picture of the Orion nebula
Loved this one… ❤ never stop creating and being your self brother!
Amazing Images. I really enjoy your videos.
Walt, what is that music at 8:04?? It sounds very familiar.
So good! Well done. Happy new year!
Fantastic shots! Youi're a real inspiration.
Another great video. Always a pleasure to watch. I'm finally taking the leap into ap. Thinking about giving my old 35mm film cameras a whirl. Have you ever used film for AP?
I haven't but I have a Pentax K1000 right here on my desk. I would love to try the Milky Way core in the summer with it.
Hey Walt!! Great video again.
Hey Walt. Why would you rather get a stock camera instead of the modded one to your island trip? The risk of ruining it and the color balance for nature pics maybe? Happy holidays and thanks for your awesome content!
Exactly. I wanted to use the camera for day shots as well. Also the unmodified 6D is a full frame, and I wanted that extra wideness.
So how am I seeing diffraction spikes like the Horse Head and Flame like you were using a Newt???
So Alnitak was blown out with a halo around it. To cover it up I used a Photoshop plugin called StarSpikes Pro by Pro Digital Software. So yeah I cheated a little.
im sorry, did u say *BORTLE 3 BACKYARD?!!!*
Yeah. I live on a farm in the country
One last question..... Do you have to polar align to use the lunar mode on the Star Adventurer 2i?
Yup!
Great video rundown on your 2022 journey in astrophotography. Fantastic collection of the images there. Wishing you lots of clear skies in 2023.
That’s King Ghidorah or monster X. Lol. Great photos.
Haha! You're cool!
Great video - but whoh - I would be very concerned about how you are mounting the C11!
It's worked ok so far. I am getting a longer dovetail that is made for the C11 before galaxy season though.

Great way to end the year! Is your t5i full spectrum or h alpha modified?
Just h alpha.
People like you who are enthusiast about what they love give me hope for the future, thank you.
That means a lot. Thanks!
liars and thieves.. hate em. well least someone blessed you with that c11. =)
Yup! lost one thing, gained another. Things aren't so bad.
Awesome... I'm so happy
Absolutely brilliant! I really enjoy your videos. Thanks Walt.
Great video Walt thanks for sharing your work mate , Happy New year

Post officer stole your staff???
This is ridiculous !!
Yeah. Made me think twice about ever mailing my gear again.
Always an enjoyable watch, Walt. Have been meaning to ask for a while: Do you create the music for your videos? I've noted the equipment you have and have wondered if you do.
I've never been really good at electronic or synth music, so no. I'm more of a rocker. But I did compose the goofy music during my intro!
@@deltaastrophotography It was the intro music I was most interested in. It is excellent! I'm more of a rocker too (particularly 70s progressive).

Optolong L-Pro since this is a broadband target. Just try to get as much time on it as you can.
@@deltaastrophotography I have the Enhance and a standard LP filter which one ( final question) 😃
PS love the comedy in your videos :-) Best Simon
Awesome shots!
Very inspiring images, Walt. Happy New Year.
