Vaillant F.75 Fault - But why?! Famous Vaillant Fault Codes

- One of the famous Vaillant Fault Codes! I attended this job for the usual suspected pressure sensor when the client was faced with an F.75 fault on their Vaillant boiler. But not all was as it seemed and the job needed some more attention!
Thanks for watching!!

Great video and repair - rare fault for F75!
Thanks for watching! Definitely - you’d usually bet your house on it being the sensor 😂
I usually carry a carrier bag and slide the whole thing over the control panel to protect from drips and spills. Then remove it after use.
Good idea actually! There’s actually a brand of boiler who gel coats their PCBs to stop these issues!
That was a interesting one considering more often then not it is the pressure sensor
Definitely! I even turned up with a sensor - in my whole career I’d say it’s not been the sensor maybe 5 times 😂
Really enjoyed this one Richie ❤!
Cheers brother!
Always put a couple of nappies under the pump , top tip
That’s actually a great idea! Thanks for watching!
Do you not put them in air purge mode? I use a bungee cord as a 3rd hand to hold the controls pannel/PCB up out of the drip zone, works a treat. 👍
Only air purge if it needs it, this one didn’t. Good tip on the bungee cord, pretty sure these used to have a string on older models like the Worcester - maybe I’m making it up 😂
They did!
Live to Neutral is meant to be 240v right? So why is the pump faulty then I don't understand
If the pump is getting 240v but not spinning then that proves the pump is faulty as it’s receiving power but not functioning correctly. If it didn’t have 240v at the pump you would be looking at a potential PCB fault
@@RJHeating Thanks so much, I appreciate it. Subscribed also 👍
@@fatzz5800 thank you! That’s very kind of you! There’s more diagnosis videos coming and hopefully some wiring ones!
How many ohms on that pump
Silicone grease rather than washing up liquid is best
Personally, I find a small drop of washing up liquid is the best lubricant out there - don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of silicone grease but for the AAVs and the LWPS - it works better for me. Thank you for watching!
You can hear the pumps getting power 🤷♂️
It’s got power but siezed unfortunately
Are you predominately attending Vaillants
I’m based in south west London/Surrey areas and I’d say the main mixture is Vaillant, Worcester & Ideal but can come across pretty much anything!
Youre process of elimination is superd .....Lol
Pump diagnosed, pump replaced, boiler now working…sounds like solid diagnosis from where I’m standing. But thank you for your input anyway…
*Your - also yes, it is. I’d love to see your own video of diagnosing boiler faults Stephen…oh wait you don’t have any?
Electrical Safe Isolation 😂 Na no need.
Safe isolation carried out but not on video, I’m sure people don’t want to watch that on every vid but thank you for your concern.
Cowboy
🙄 pump is seized...can hear it...doesn't matter how many ohms it has.... maybe he just has enough experience to recognise this...but don't worry you'll get there one day 👌
