Love the humor in this one! I really wish cities weren't as car-centric here in America, it'd be a lot safer having actual bike/scooter infrastructure than just painted bike lanes. I have a norwegian version from EWheels which uses the exact same frame and app, only difference is that the headlight is placed above the front wheel. And it has a 500 watt battery with a top speed of 30km/h and 40km distance when I drive 22km/h. Really like it. The solid tires aren’t that good on bumpy roads but on asphalt you can’t really tell the difference (had a scooter with air filled tires before).
iScooter E9T is pretty much the same except it comes with 10" air filled tires, bigger 10Ah battery and rear suspension. The 350W motor actually pulls 600W+ when accelerating or going uphill so that's why it's faster than you would expect. I really like it so far after ~300kms.
I'm a Brit living in Vancouver, Canada - and canadians have tons of e-scooters all over the city! You can even rent them like the city bikes in London. If I had one I'd take the e-scooter through the torrential rain along the sea wall, high five some fellow scooterers (scooterans?) along the way, and then straight to the pub. Cheers for the reviews!
I just bought the 1S and paid $209.00 delivered a very bright head light, and rides nice. this is no 350w motor or the battery don´t deliver the right amount of power. it is a little weak, i would say with out mesuring that it lands about 250-300watts. the battery lacks a little too, it looses speed over time and that pretty quickly. mine starts at 30kph but after 400 meter it goes down to 28kph, then after about 5 minutes it settles at 26kph. my weight are 86kg so it shouldnt have any problem. i ride where it is mostly flat. the battery is 36v 7.5ah so something isn´t quite right here. i still ride it to work but my friends that didn´t cheap out and order this one have to wait for me and that sucks so i am a bit annoyed.

What a fun new direction for the channel! If I had an escooter I’d drive it to a couple nearby (American) cities and ride it around there. I’d certainly have to test its “eat-while-riding-ability”!
I keep getting tempted to get an EUC but they require (not “suggest”, REQUIRE) a lot of safety gear. That adds a lot of cost to the EUC itself, plus adds preparation time every time I’d want to ride it. I live in a rural area so riding would be mostly big paved roads, not an urban or suburban commute. Still… some RUclipsrs make it so damn tempting!
I would rock the paths around the lake which my town is named after. It would be plenty fast at 15, 19mph would be a bit scary in my opinion. Thanks for the great review. Now I want one too! Ha ha, it comes with a app powered security system. What does the more expensive ones come with?
That is bonkers about the legality of their use for you over there! I don’t know what the issues are that would cause them to be deemed illegal, like here in the US in many major cities they became a nuisance due to the sudden abundance and misuse of the rental ones littering the streets, but if it’s anything similar over there then the laws should just be about scooter parking not use… I dunno, a shame regardless! This is the first tech video where I’m seriously considering picking one of what you’ve featured up for myself (especially at that price!), and I think I’d use one just for casual cruising to nearby cafes… and then have to figure out how to steer with my elbows as I ride home sipping a coffee and munching a pastry. ;)
Haha yeah it annoys the hell out of me because they're just so convenient and cool. My parents live just round the corner and this would be great to nip down on. People do it all the time but I get so paranoid.
Considering the legality and controversy of this device in the UK, one is only able to use it in a park after carrying it there, or in your backyard. As with many things the device is not really the issue its how people use it which has been dangerous, like driving in traffic filled roads. Bicycles are only just getting thier time to shine, and then throw in this device which can be confuse the current infrastructure. Hopefully there will be some compromise in the future to allow these devices freely.

I would use something like this for getting around where I am living currently, it's a small area and would probably do well here. Great video!
Thanks! Sounds perfect 👍
Nice Vid, looks cool, would love to go riding round my local parks and enjoy the Autumn sun
Ah yes, Autumn is actually quite nice when it isn't raining 🤞
Cheers Mate! Great review. I think you made my mind up for me :)
How long does the scooter code last for
Not sure they didn't give me an expiry.
I would take this scooter for a ride on a boardwalk in California! Like in Santa Cruz, San Diego, or in Tijuana Mexico. Fun and easy ride back to the hotel without having to call a cab
I've been to the one in Santa Cruz!!!! I think anyway. My Auntie and Uncle took me. That's the one in The Lost Boys yeah?
@@VRCauldron Yes, I think of that movie every time I go! "Death by stereo" lol. (They're doing a remake btw)
@@turtlerespecter brilliant. Love the Lost Boys. Although going to that place on the rickety rollercoaster made me scared of rollercoasters for the next 8 years until I realised new ones with their twists and speed were nowhere near as scary as the psychological fear caused by a wooden coaster 🤣🤣😬😬😭😭
With an eScooter, I would commute to work and zip down to the beach to enjoy Lake Michigan.
Sounds great!
Thanks for this review.
I'd probably go to flat forest roads to follow my daughter who is learning bike. 🚴
Yeah they're perfect for following the kids. I mean our own kids 😬🤣
Sometimes it might be nice to commute without exercise, biking can be rough on mornings ;)
It can. Escootering is so relaxing 👍
next time you come to America . get up with us and we will go to gulf shores Alabama and ride around the beach , lol
That looks pretty awesome! I've got an ebike and I can't stop riding it, just too much fun!
It was indeed and totally agree they're both so much fun.
What a fun new direction for the channel! If I had an escooter I’d drive it to a couple nearby (American) cities and ride it around there. I’d certainly have to test its “eat-while-riding-ability”!
Thanks! An electric unicycle... now that's the ultimate eat whilst riding vehicle 🌮
Hope you managed to get back from America in time for school! I would ride my iScooter to get a caramel donut and back again, looking cool as hell.
....Errrr in America I mean....
Oh yes! Only in america
I would rock the paths around the lake which my town is named after. It would be plenty fast at 15, 19mph would be a bit scary in my opinion. Thanks for the great review. Now I want one too! Ha ha, it comes with a app powered security system. What does the more expensive ones come with?
I think the expensive ones may not have an app. It all depends on the computer. They have keys though.
Wow! Great value for a scooter like this and those features look nice. I would love to take this scooter down to a ride at the beach.
Careful with the sand!
This is the first tech video where I’m seriously considering picking one of what you’ve featured up for myself (especially at that price!), and I think I’d use one just for casual cruising to nearby cafes… and then have to figure out how to steer with my elbows as I ride home sipping a coffee and munching a pastry. ;)
Thats just the UK for you
Haha yeah it annoys the hell out of me because they're just so convenient and cool. My parents live just round the corner and this would be great to nip down on. People do it all the time but I get so paranoid.
One handed scootering is well dodgy though lol.
Hopefully. I see bikes and scooters as equals tbh and absolutely correct it's down to the people.
