Great scooter, I’m 240lbs and hit 21 mph on my fist test ride on a flat surface. Suspension works great for me as I’m heavy set, hit some bumps and it kicked in well. Brilliant scooter
@@kingofoblivion1822 it’s defo really good , make sure not to ride it in the rain to not damage the battery and since your son is only turning 10 I would suggest just i9 or i8 version bc the max is honestly really big and not for someone under 15!

@@peshoa1 but those 2 kg are from a battery that's more powerful, big and reliable, and another break in the front and believe me you need that second break in crucial situations, I end with a Acl injury because of that with a i9 max
Lots of companies sell them in the UK, but we have strict laws for E-Scooters. These laws will probably change to be honest, but here are the laws www.halfords.com/cycling/advice/are-electric-scooters-legal.html
Currently, electric scooters can only be used on private land with the landowner's permission. It is effectively illegal to use them on public roads, on pavements, in cycle lanes and in pedestrian-only areas. (Hope nobody shares this video with the wrong people!)
Yes Tony as in my own comment they pose so any risks to others of the public and the rider including such risks as having your house burn down if the battery on these wretched things happens to go nuclear while being charged. Actually I am surprised at Brian even doing a video on these things after I have followed him for many years and this is so out of character for him.
@@Britec09 ....Which you weren't, clearly, during your test! As other ppl have stated, these things are a menace to society and cause so many accidents, including deaths. Just because you say they must only be used on private land...the reality is, 99% of riders are youths and they don't give a shit about the law. I cannot believe you're even testing one!
Maybe because electric scooters are here to stay regardless how much you hate them just like many people hate shit drivers in vans, cars etc. And I personally love my scooter and it gets me to work everyday and you'll only have problems if you don't do maintenance etc. Like anything that operates batteries or fuel. You're all acting like they're so bad yet probably have never tried themselves so wouldn't understand the situation for others who do use them. Not all "youths" and actually I'm 37 so couldn't give a flying Fk what you think about scooter riders lol. Experienced worse issues with car drivers...Including deaths! Oh you mean like drunk drivers or people speeding in cars do? Right.....
This is something different from usual. It good to see you get outside for much needed vitamin D...lol. Looking at you holding the bike, you look a bit shaky. I think your hands are best at what they do that is working on the keyboard not riding. Anyway, nice produce, but I think its best for kids under 20 years of age. I don't know about others, but for me, this is out of my comfort zone. I think I have some kind of phobia with vehicles having only two wheels.
I bought scooter like this i9max iscooter and according to the seller this scooter they have sportmode around 35km/h .but my scooter only normal mode around 25km/h . Can you demonstrate how to set the sportmode?thank you hope youe read this my messges
That looks like a fun scooter to experiment on. I'd mount a couple generators on it so it would charge itself while riding. A lot of people tried to tell me that wasn't possible, but I did it with an electric golf cart.
Please remember these rules. A car motorbike bus lorry all go faster than the speed limit. 🚀 And there aloud on the road... Also a lyra person on a bush bike with no insurance can get speeds of up to 45 mph... Why aren't they banned. 👀
Well Brian I am vehemently against any form of electric transport simply because there are far too many issues with lithium ion driven power train vehicles. There have been so many fires for example world wide including down here in Australia and these fires are so dangerous in that they emit extremely toxic materials plus lethal and explosive gases that are known to cause life changing disabilities and/or death from the time of exposure to days, weeks and even years after that exposure. Add to that there are individuals who ride these wretched scooters without any consideration to the public and heaven forbid road users. Frankly I cannot see any reason why anyone could not walk or take some other safer form of transport.
There only dangerous if you buy from a brand as bad as Iscooter. But buy a decent brand and take care of it and there fine. I've had over 20 escooters over 5 years (I buy and sell them) and ive never had any issues. It's commonly when people mess about with them, but cheap Chinese crap scooters (such as this one) or mess about with the electrics, get them wet etc
Apple wouldn't put out this crap and I don't even like apple products, but I've had so many complaints from clients about Iscooter and there customer service it's unbelievable
Are you serious.? You clearly haven't had any of the covers off ? The build quality is shocking and the battery is a fire hazard. also, there customer service and after sales is terrible. AVOID ISCOOTER

Double tap the on and off switch
I’m thinking of getting for work 2.5miles away from my house in the Uk. Are they ok to ride. Do you need insurance tax etc?? Tia
Very ok
Anyone use those in the USA. Can you carry any bags on that.
This (I9 Max) Or ISinwheel S9 Max
Any one have/had safety concerns whilst charging these at home?
So Brian, where do we use it in the UK?

This was private land and I linked to legal laws above your comment, I also said check laws in your country in the video, can't do no more than that.
These things are a total nightmare with scroats zooming around illegally (in the UK at least).
in the UK, it has to be on private land.

I have never been on a scooter before 😂
How do I turn my scooter on sport mode?
Double click the power button
I have the same problem
The i9 350 watt version, does the same speed, 18-19mph.
500w what's the peak power?
That is the peak. It's a piece of shit and a fire hazard
Careful where you charge that contraption. I watched few videos of batteries exploding into a fire bomb. 🔥
This specific scooter?
I think the person or owner didn't look or had taken care of his scooter for this 2 happen?
