It is amazing how this tiny pc is more powerful than super computers from the 90s. I have seen larger floppy disk drives back in the day. Great video! 😀

The last PC I bought/built is 4th-gen (i7-4790K 32GB RAM) which I'm still using to date, but I'm considering a mini PC as a next replacement.

The main issue with some of those imho is thermals. I had a Beelink one and it was always thermal throttling. I'm not particularly PC savvy myself, but throttling at 76C seemed a little excessive to me.

You think LOL its a lack of ventilation and cooling. I had a Beelink that burnt out after 14 months.

You could use double sided tape and mount the ssd on the cover. Then tuck the cables in.

Thanx for the video. These mini PCs are sure getting better. I've always been a full tower desktop man my self but these things are becoming more attractive. Just need a high speed external USB multidrive holder for my internal stoage drives.

    I have,and use every day, the Chuwi Larkbox, 256 G SSD, 6 G Ram, WiFi, Bluetooth, 4 K . I’m using a Bluetooth keyboard and Plugin Monitor (19”), and plugin JBL 2.1 speakers. Over 1 1/2 years and absolutely not a problem at all. Oh, and I installed an MVME? 2.0 of 1T. Not bad for a 2 1/2” X 2 1/2” X 2 3/4” cube. 👍🇨🇦
At $600.00 Canadian, I can find, I’m sure, a little better than that, BUT, it is a nice setup.

Regards the SATA mount there can only be one of two options to explain this?...the Mini PC has been re-purposed from another model or Chassis or the mount is either as Brian says an future development or an forthcoming optional extra...Regardless its still an excellent mini PC and no-one can say otherwise so thanks go to Brian..

I guess making something that small you would have to use proprietary parts. Nice little system that has some spice to it. Not too expensive either for what you are getting in a tiny package. But it does not look like it is available in the USA.

I do like that this one has plenty of ventilation. Some do not have enough and burn out, because of that.

i'm guessing that you could build your own for less and support taiwan instead but maybe i'm wrong. maybe this is the best option if you couldn't go any larger for your desired application.

Hello Brian, again another great teaching/ review video. I love watching your videos I’ve learned a lot from you and please keep your videos coming. I do have some questions on this mini pc, you said that it comes with a 1tb m.2 pcie can that be upgraded to a 2TB or 4TB m.2 pcie and if so how would I transfer everything from the 1TB m.2 to a 2TB actually just in general how would you transfer all data from a m.2 to another m.2? I have a data transfer unit I put let’s say a 2TB HDD and I bought a new 2TB ssd and it will transfer all of the data from the old to the new but how would I from a m.2 to a bigger m.2. And you talked about putting in a ssd and the cables are there just no mounting bracket. What about using duct tape to hold it in place so it’s not touching the ram etc or maybe some bubble wrap to put in between to keep it from touching other stuff like the ram. I have a 6 month old mid tower gaming desktop computer that I built myself and it’s much cheaper building it yourself everything part that I bought was new and I compared it to three other computer already built systems and I saved about $800 by me buying the parts and doing it all myself and I was so impressed that I got a vendor license and I started my own small business building desktop computer’s and I just can’t get the word out there and I’ve only built 3 systems in the past 4 months. But anyways if you would please answer my questions I asked you in the beginning of this message I would really appreciate it sir? Thank you

Hello, been a long time subscriber to the channel. Just wanted to say your Pounds to US Dollars is incorrect. 100USD is just over 75 pounds, so at 400GBP that would be about $506USD for the viewers information. Keep making interesting content.
