Thank you very much for this very informative blog, i didn't have this info until now but I'm aware of their hanging coffins, thanks to you. My dad(RIP) is from Sagada too, i guess it's time to visit Sagada😊...I've seen hanging coffins but in Kabayan.
Hi Rachel, So lovely to meet you in Sagada, Philippines and the hanging graveyard is amazing. You got a nice friend Rachel in Sagada. It's a lovely nature in Sagada
love you vlogs, it is as if i am travelling with you, i love viewing travels from youtube, yours are very satisfying and very informative. thank you so much for your love of travelling specially in the pHilippines
What a very interesting video. Harriet and i Are not one for cemeteries. Who knew this existed? Rachelle , you do a great job in explaining what we are seeing, thank you for taking on this unique Tour. RIP for the dead. Sending you much Love and Affection 😍😍😍 Harriet, Jim and Yuki Richmond, Va.
Yeah I understand that! This is truly incredible though, the dedication and tradition that went into giving the ones passed away a burial like this I really think is mind blowing in a good way. Thanks for the support again guys! Stay well 💛
It is very true that whenever we are burdened with the memory of the death of a loved one, the pleasures of this world seem very insignificant to us and we lose faith in our own existence. It takes us a long time to get out of that obsession. I think your video has a very nice illusion that helps to lighten our sadness.
I like that you experience also this while you are here in the Philippines because most of the foreign tourist always only going to the beach which I understand why 😁 Philippines is a diverse country the languages and the sceneries is keep changing depends on where you are.
kumanderdaot filmed the route to "sagada"..mountains/cliffs..tough one..but not sure what route he took he's in a moped. there's an old spanish town somewhere in ilocos called "vigan"-"even further north". basically areas in the philippines have their own contrasts..boracay..palawan..siargao..mountains..plains..islands..small towns..small cities..big cities..and eras..spanish..american..cities with smaller streets are spanish..cities with "wider" streets are american..also there are 100+ dialects. everyone is an immigrant! food varies too..they have their own specialty each region..ilocos empanadas are famous...cebu is for lechon..
I am going to check the channel out, thanks for mentioning! As for the recommendations, thanks so much! There are still a few places I would love to visit on my next trip. For now I still have some videos to share here! :)
Welcome to my humble Province mam....you can also tour the rest of Mountain Province Municipality ...I guess lots of hidden beautiful places and natural scene not yet added to some of the content of tourist who never been to some of the hidden places not yet to be discovered for vlogging.....
did you ask permission from elders before you document it???? you cannot just doicument the place anytime you want.. ive been there last 2018 to document sagada ang the cordillera region for our philippine history subject.. and we were not allowed to document it coz its a sign of disrespect.and we should ask permssion from the elders,,and you need to get their approval..... YOU SHOULD ASK PERMISSION FIRST.. it can be considered cultural exploitation also ... this is not only for sagada,,
Hey there, thanks for bringing this up! No one from the tour or the guide brought this matter up. So I was unaware this was necessary. I have seen many other vloggers make videos about Sagada and the hanging coffins and that day everyone there (a lot of people) were filming and making photos... So I didn't realise we all had to ask for permission to do so. I wonder if this is still so strict as back in 2018.
@@talesofodyssey your guide probably did not inform you.. its not your fault.. that time our guide was directly from the tribe so he informed us that we should ask permission first.. so we asked permission and fortunately we were granted.. im not sure if that time there was some tribal activities going on so the permission was necessary..or maybe theyre only doing it to mainstream media who wants to document the place and theyre just trying to make it formal .. actaully, tribal elders are claiming/saying taht if you disprespect their tribal law , the spirit of the dead will go ,haunt and hunt you.. if so, then the spirit will probably give you a chance since you did not know the rules :)
Hi, i heard that place is among the scariest and spookiest places on earth to visit. That cliffside cemetery is also a spooky sight😱😱😱

Sagada? Sounds like a lodging house! Sagad na sagad! 😂
Hanging coffin is common anywhere in Asia, and Indonesia, they live with their dead relatives.
I've been there saw a smoke in a form of a person and I just freaked out never to return again. that zone is a sacred ground leave 😧 immediately
❤️🇵🇭💪
A-ha! Dear lady, dig deeper. How did the ancient cordillerans mummyfied their dead only with smoke and guava concuction. 🤔
Im what country is sagada?
Particularly.. Cordillera region at Mountain Province❤️❤️❤️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Yep like mentioned above, in The Philippines
