The concept of the video was death knocking at the door ready to take the man away, whilst his lover was pleading for him to stay in the world of the living. He was obviously sick on the bed hanging on for his life. You would have appreciated the song, vocals, and video knowing the storyline and concept. It's clearly not the usual music video and style young people listen to today. Creative music is usually something you don't quite get until you come back to it years later. Unfortunately the music today lacks the soul and depth that music like this song and video has during its time.
The scary angel of death Irish girl is Siobhan Fahey. And the other girl I think is American. Almost sure I read somewhere Siobhan was drunk when they shoot this

The second singer Siobhan Fahey is the former wife of Dave Stewart from Eurthymics. She is also a founding member of the group Bannarama. I looked into her further in addition to all of that she is one heck of a musician. She sings, plays keyboards/piano, guitar and bass guitar. I saw a live performance of this song and when it came to her part she was rocking out on a bass while singing. Final note, Siobhan and her ex have two sons who are also professional musicians.
To me ( feel free to disagree) the song is about loving someone that you know is leaving you ( insert reason here) and how you love them but also will hate them if they leave for the wrong reason ( karma) just my take .
