It's a great additional wit in a great video for a song that's all been lacking wholeheartedly in the long dead industry. That's the 80s dying for you and the ongoing horror of slagdonna, S/A/W, c/rap and everything rotten happening ever since.

Well back then females (and males) had talent and there was an industry, though it was waning considerably by 1992, now it's just a black hole and cesspit of shite for pointless slaves to the mass-produced garbage spewing out of corporate factories instead of where talent should come from.

This is such an amazing song. It spent eight weeks at the top of the UK charts from February to April 1992 and was also number 1 in Ireland and a top 5 hit in at least a dozen other countries including the USA.
I always like to see reactions to the moment Siobhan Fahey enters as the Devil or Death! Her vocals may not be as impressive as Marcella Detroit's but are still good, and her personality oozes character. She has a great and varied history from the girl group Bananarama and her own projects, including from working with Dave Stewart (of Eurythmics fame) who co-wrote this with them, and who she was married to around this time.
Sadly, the duo of Fahey and Detroit split acrimoniously not long after this hit and didn't speak for years, but they made up in 2018 and have performed and recorded again together since.

Hi Polo, thank you so much for playing my request. I thought you might like the video as well as the song, as it's a bit quirky. The two ladies in the video are Siobhan Fahey (ex-singer from the girl group Bananarama) and Marcella Detroit. Siobhan is Irish and Marcella is American. This Song was released in 1992.
Apparently, Siobhan Fahey (the lady who comes on later in the video) drank a bottle of Vodka whilst waiting to come on and sing her part. I guess that partly explains her "manic" expressions! Loved your reaction, thumbs up from me and thanks again.

No, they had loads of good and great ones from their debut album BEFORE 'Stay' and the follow-ups were done. 'Goodbye Cruel World' the ignored 1st single from album 2 is especially good. 'Hello' is simply another class one and there was more to come, on the album, as B-sides and ongoing albums, even though Marcella "had to leave", though they are now back together finally.

LOL! Say, if you ever want to hear a bright, beautiful 80s hit that's kind of a One Hit Wonder, check out Steve Forbert "Romeo's Tune." The piano is gorgeous, his voice is kind of weird and smokey, and it's my favorite song of all time (Well, tied with Manfred Mann's "For You."

Rounding the circle, Siabhan (Death) was married to Dave Stewart, who was part of the Pop Duo The Tourists, who became The Eurythmics. Annie Lenox (who you have Reacted to) was the other half of the Duo with Dave.
Siabhan was part of Bananarama. And the guy on the table was boyfriend of one of the other members of Bananarama.
