Roadside Rattler

About a week after filming my nighttime walkabout, something on the side of the road caught my attention. With only a short glance I thought maybe I had seen a gopher snake, when I got out and found the object of my search, it was NOT a gopher snake.
I made an attempt to get it away from the road; the typical person in my area is under the vehement belief that "the only good snake is a dead snake" :-/ . I also figured I would try to make some slow motion vids of its tail.

Leo, thank you for the expansive viewership and positive comments on those videos. Volume has been something I've struggled with since the first video...to soft, too overpowering, can't hear some parts, etc. I apologize if you weren't able to get some of the info in the videos but if you have any questions you can message me(instagram may be the best means) and I will happily take the time to answer your specific questions. Know also, the volume thing is something that I am aware of and continually trying to improve upon.
