I realize this is a Castaway Bay review... and a fine one at that... But, i think it's probably important to note that Cedar Point currently does not provide transportation from any of their hotels to Cedar Point. So, if you planning on going to Cedar Point and are staying anywhere other than the Breakers you'll need a car, and your on the hook for parking.
Welp,I loved the ones in Europe even better,In Germany they are just a treat and also I really loved that you took directions to waterparks a bit,you should do this more since it interests me to here opinion on water slides
Nice video, we are going to stay a few nights late May since we are bringing our young daughter so she will have things to do if she gets tired of Cedar Point.
I’m planning on going to Ohio soon mostly because of cedar point but I don’t know if I should also go to cedar point shores or castaway bay. I do like water parks but don’t go to them often. I don’t know I’ll think about it but I’m more of a roller coaster kind of guy
If you want a full day water park, and you’re ok with the price, go to Kalahari resort. If you want a half day thing, go to Castaway Bay. If you love lines, go to Cedar Point Shores
We always stay at Cedar Point's Express Hotel whenever we visit Cedar Point because it's the cheapest place to stay but I would love to stay at this resort next time I go there as well because of my love for waterparks. I've just been to afraid to bring it up with my parents. We have eaten at Quaker's Steak and Lube though. The food is just delicious.
Nice little water park, but the bottom of all the pools is a little tough. I'm a big guy, went down a body slide and as I come out the slide, I hit the bottom I scraped my elbow pretty good. Had to get a band aid from one of the lifeguards. Other parks I've been too don't have this issue. On a good note, the indoor/outdoor hot tub was nice. I stayed back at the end of February, for the Winter Chill Out. The cool air and the hot water was very relaxing
So i used to work for Cedar point at castaway Bay and are used to work front desk for the hotels at castaway Bay in Kalahari and when I tell you kids are always pooping in peeing in the waters and what they don’t tell you is that all the pipes in the water park are connected even if they do close off one section where the poop started it spreads The year right before coronavirus started castaway Bay had to remodel everything because we had massive bedbugs in massive problems with the waterpark being so nasty Another thing is the employees they live so nasty they never clean their uniforms the old dorms have massive bedbugs and these people go working at all these hotels with bedbugs

That's a good point. I didn't think of it since I was planning on driving myself

I think it’s cedar Point’s cheapest hotel, right? Which is the best?
Hotel breakers Express is the cheapest

I didn’t know Cedar Point owned castaway bay. When me and my cousin went we marathoned the water coaster.

Well if you don't like waterparks, then i don't see a reason to go

Yo I so agree
I'd like to try it but have read reviews online that raise some concerns about cleanliness. I'm curious if you noticed anything along those lines?
I don't recall any issues of cleanliness
Ya castaway bay was clean and nice!
I went in august 2020 my mom surprised me
That's nice!
@@XscreamThrills thanks
Do you have to go to cedar point or can you just stay in
You don't have to go to Cedar Point
