- Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf (born Chris Wayne Jackson; March 9, 1969) is an American professional basketball player. His eight-year NBA career was marked by an appearance in the Slam Dunk Contest as well as by one of the most accurate free-throw shooting records ever. Considered one of the greatest free-throw shooters in the history of the game, Abdul-Rauf missed the all time free-throw shooting NBA season record by only a single miss in the 1993--94 season. After eight years in the NBA, he moved to play internationally and has since moved through a large number of international teams outside the NBA across the world, changing teams almost annually.

Actually, Just met him. Really nice guy. Down to earth. Met him at a convention and he looked cool not stuck up, wearing sweats and playing with kids.

Phil knows what he is talking about. This dude had game. He played on the same team as Shaq and he was the best player on that team. His nuggets were one of the only teams to beat the 72-10 Bulls. Never even reached his full potential in the league.
