and bring up who? Trade for who? Teams know we need pitching and want a king's ransom. Do you want to deplete our farm system in one year? Hate to say it but we were doomed when we lost our #2, #4, #6 starting pitchers and when we lost Bautista last year. Losing our 4 best pitchers by mid June means every pitcher behind them moved up a spot. Kimbrel was a gamble that didn't pay off. Hyde over used him throwing him out there in 4-5 games in a week which he knew not to do Then he doesn't use him at all for 5-6 days twice. These 3 times Kimbrel pitched awful. Hydes job wasn't easy trying to use our young prospects while not trying to lose games due to inexperience and defense. We were fine in all 3 phases until the pitching bubble popped, our offense pressed to make up for it now our D is awful. Only Santander was consistent at the plate for the last couple months. Our 2 superstars have been tanking for the last 6 weeks or so and Gunnar can't even make routine plays on D. This is what happens with very young teams with little vet leadership and a bunch of injuries. Look at Atlanta with all their injuries. It happens, it's baseball. A trade for Snell and Scott might be enough without giving up our best prospects. We'll see. Go Os!
Stop making excuses for Kimbrel. He's done and will continue to hold us back. Any idea why they don't come back this year in games like we did last year? Wonder why!
Maybe Jackson Holliday will end up playing SS for this team after all, the infield defense has been pathetic. You can't keep giving extra out to big league teams, even a bad team like Jays will make you pay. I know the prices are steep but they better add another SP and a RP before 6 pm today. This team isn't going anywhere without more pitching. Maybe Kjerstad should be part of any deals made today before his stock drops.
Throw in the towel amd don't watch. We have today to make trades and some hitters are picking it up. Defensively this is what happens when young guys like Gunnar and Adley don't get enough rest and hit the wall and press. Not to mention trying to play prospects and trying to win the WS. Injuries, lack of vet leadership, and hyde being exposed as an in game manager is the perfect storm.
We need a cpl more peices.....but relax injuries have caught up with us but we are in a prolong slump but were coming out of it. Solid pitching is what we need and the offense will come around
This team will continue its .500 ball until the end of the season. Your all fooling yourselves if you think we are going anywhere with this pitching staff and swing for the fences mentality. But hey, we have the best farm system. Lmao
Was at the double header today. James McCann is a beast. Second game was the Vladdy show.
Need a right handed bat Robert from the white sox
Connor coming in clutch for the shower "music" 🙂
That Kikuchi trade kinda put a damper on things. Astros gave the Jays A LOT for 2/3 months of his service
Don't understand why the O's keep trotting out Irvin and Kimbrel. I can't believe Irvin hasn't been DFA'd
irvin gave 3 innings of 1 run ball yesterday, I know he hasnt been great but this statline is far from bad

I love this team but they are not winning a WS, so please stop saying that!!
Audley is struggling
Do you think that maybe a bruce zimmerman wouldve been better than Cade, at least innings eating wise

They need to make a move for both a good closer and starting pitcher today, or they aren't wining anything

*you’re
Statistically the offense is just fine but what else do you expect with pitching when Bradish, Means, and Wells go down for year?
