This card looks so awesome! It’s quite beefy! Hopefully it doesn’t sag considering the size and weight of that card. It’s a bummer that the fans were scratched! I think it might not be as noticeable from afar. You probably won’t even see it because the fans face down, but I get what you mean. I would be upset if the fans came scuffed like that too. Great video man. I look forward to seeing the completed build and some gameplay!
The card definitely requires an anti-sag bracket, it weighs a lot! I'll be removing the stock cooler and putting on a waterblock which will eliminate 80% of the weight 👍
40 series could come out this year October/November, but it is more likely that they will delay until October/November 2022. If demand is so high on 30 series they won't be in a hurry to launch new cards while people are still going crazy for them and they are out of stock. Keep an eye on AMD's release schedule because if they release new cards that out-perform 6800XT then Nvidia will likely respond in kind. I expect most tech firms to hold off this year on major new product releases, it would be a smart move to maximize profits on existing products. It makes no sense to announce new products while people are still fighting over existing ones and popularity is still so high.
The best bet right now is to try to place a back-order with a local shop. Don't pay the scalpers, be patient and you will get one eventually. I have seen 2-6 weeks to get one once a backorder is placed for the 3060/3070/3090. The 3080 is very hard to get right now and probably will be for the rest of the year.
Ok soooo... I am really sorry for going off topic But.... I am going to build a gaming plus streaming pc as well as a pc for some coding What should I use with an rtx 3060 (or 3070 if I win the giveaway) Ryzen 7 3700x or ryzen 5 5600x Thank u
I would go for the 5600X if the 5800X isn't an option. The 5000 series CPUs are just amazing and responsive. The 3700X will perform better in multi-threaded workloads but the 5600X will destroy the 3700X in gaming and single-threaded workloads. In a perfect world the 5800X would be amazing for you. If you are planning on gaming/streaming using 1080p then the 5600X is the clear winner.
@@UnhingedSystems ummmm... I am tight on a budget But if I win the graphics card I will surely buy ryzen 7 5800x Btw Thanks U got some really good knowledge I have never seen someone like u Like not a big youtuber but a really good knowledge U r just awesome
The 3080 is a phenomenal card, the 3090 has marginal gains over the 3080 in relation to the cost. I nabbed the 3090 for this as an extreme build but the 3080 makes more sense (If you can get one). Under water the 3090 has good headroom on the memory (+1000 MHz) and small amounts of headroom on the GPU itself (135-200 MHz) for overclocking. I am working on some overclocking videos to push the performance this weekend!

Unhinged, I would kill to be able to purchase a 3060 around MSRP. Not sure if you have advice, or anything to help me.
