Hi Bob and Pearl. Did you find my dollar bill with my business card on it while you ate lunch? LOL The motorhomes use to be covered wagons. The propane firepit is the way to go. The old horse pics was cool. Have fun.
Hi Don, man that place had more dollars on their wall/ceiling than I have ever saw. Great Food. We are enjoying the propane firepit but really enjoy a live wood fire the most when we have a choice. Enjoy the Keys
Hi Lennie & Angelia. We can't wait for that Artic Circle Breakfast. Our "The Mile Post" will arrive April 1st and we plan to do some reading over the summer in preparation for 2025
Oatman is one of those little forgotten route 66 towns that reinvented itself I just love, it's a fun stop along the way! Look forward to seeing what you think of the cooler 😎
Hi Bob and Pearl, it looks like you are getting it figured out. Sure looked like a nice boondocking spot you found too! We have been hanging out in the Apache Junction area for a bit before we head back to CO. Enjoy! Ray and Karen
Hey Ray & Karen, great hearing from ya. We haven't been to Colorado since the mid 90's but hope to make it back through there with the Jeep as it is so beautiful and perfect for trails and campsites with wonderful scenery. Hope you are enjoying your RV Adventures and hope to see ya out on the road somewhere.
What a fantastic campsite. Love the Retro photos. Was that an English Bulldog in one? We have had English Bullies as well - love that breed! Safe Travels.
Hi Guys, glad you enjoyed th e video, the dog was about the greatest dog I have ever had. She was a German Short Haired Pointer. We have seen several English Bulldogs that we loved but have not had the pleasure of owning one. See ya out on the Road
You guys are amazing! Taking on that new challenge in camping. You're doing it right in my opinion, do the test runs so you learn what you need, like the electric blanket, and whatsizefridge, etc. What's your total length with the Jeep compared to the Lincoln you used to tow? Jayman...
Thanks for the inspiration on the new adventures, we are just a couple of feet longer now but I haven't measured it yet. I think we were right at 64' with the Lincoln and that is plenty long so hopefully it isn't much different.
Hi Roy, I guarantee ya that Pearl always gets enough power to run the curling iron, & blow drier. I'm just glad she doesn't want an Iron and Ironing board :-) LOL. I love my wrinkled T-Shirts
What a great setup this is turning out to be, it's fun to see you enjoying it so much! How comfortable is the mattress/bed? Hopefully there's enough room to fit a reasonably thick memory-foam style mattress. I know I would sure need one, i.e. fibromyalgia. No chance I could have been a cowboy, I just don't have the grit. This is the only horse I can probably handle but only if I'm really careful cause going in circles makes me dizzy.... 🎠🎠🎠 LOL.
Hi Jeff, the camper has about 2" memory foam mattress which is fine for me, we have my old (but expensive) thin air mattress from my horse camping adventures that pearl adds to her side and she seems to be fine with the comfort and now with the electric blanket hopefully the cold temps are taken care of. We had some great horses and I bet you would have enjoyed an afternoon riding up around Lake Tahoe on the trails there (EPIC)
Hi John, i've seen those stands and like them but I didn't order one when I originally purchased ours but it may get on the list. Thanks for the suggestion

Hi Joe, you could have slipped right in beside the Jeep, I think you would have loved it.

Like a couple 20 year olds😊
I don't think I could go my 20's again, maybe a couple of 40 year olds 🙂! Thanks Robert
The blackstone grill comes with its own folding stand. I bought together, I think it was around $180 for both, and the stand has a side shelf on it.

Looks like you took the wrong road to Oatman
That would not be the first time I took the wrong road. LOL
Be careful of snakes.
Great Point, especially with the dog, she thinks every one loves her and doesn't understand that rattlesnakes do not care about cute!!!
