You have it right. My husband and I traveled for 15 years in a 5th wheel and then MH. We loved it and always knew it could end at any time. Sure enough, last year my husband suddenly died and now I am so on my own. I sold the big MH and bought a Storyteller van and am traveling the country by myself. Still seeing beautiful places but it is not the same. So you two continue on and having a wonderful travel time together! And letting me in on your travels through your wonderful RUclipss.

Ft Clinch is our favorite and we will take even one night when we can. Your stop at Shuckers Restaurant was an excellent call. I can remember when it was an old bait ship with restaurant attached but the new version still has a good kitchen. We were at Anastasia on the 18th and a rig like yours was parked next to us. Never saw anyone in it ththough Will be in Highland Hammock 2/17 at a small get together if you are in the area. It wasn’t us. We were there on the 11th. By the 18th we were long gone and at another park. We stay in our rig a lot unless we are sitting out or hiking/biking. If you do see us don’t hesitate to yell or flag us down!
Your rig is just the right size for two people who enjoy each other and a small dog. Anything bigger would just keep you out of places you want to go. Loved your song although it did bring tears to my eyes. I’d love to hear Get Good and Gone again too.
Checkout Story Teller Overland vans. They are the same size as the Revel, but much nicer and higher quality. You might find they solve some of your comfort problems with the Revel, but still keep the same compact van size.
I really enjoy Owen 's music. I'm not sure what genre you call it but it seems like it is part classic country and part old folk music. Have you ever made any cds. I for one would happily buy them if you have them available. They songs you write tell a story or talk about real life in a way that we can relate to. With the way you keep the accostics in the background and use your voice to lead the music is something that I miss in today's music. I do hope you have some of your music available to purchase. We wished we could have brought our room but it’s just to big for the van. The bugs love Owen and it’s makes for a not so fun time when you are fighting with the bugs. I hope you had a great time at Anastasia, we only had one night there so we did get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked.

When we were thinking we should have a larger RV, we watched a current episode of "Watts on Wheels: Will We Fit in A Regular Gas Station? // Emergency Stop for Fuel"......ouch. We will happily stay with our little 18' travel trailer. The pancake sandwich looked so yummy! Thank you for showing us Fort Clinch!
We battle with going bigger with more comforts and every time we decide to stay small. We only had one night at Fort Clinch and didn’t really do it justice, there’s so much more than we showed. It’s a great place to camp and explore for a least a week.
Are you already coming up on 2 years with the REVEL?!? Dang! Time flies when you're having fun! You should do a retrospective video on your travels from getting the REVEL to the two year anniversary! Hit 60 last year, so I'm wanting to go traveling as soon as we can. We do some here and there, but I really want to get out there with an RV and see the US. Hopefully, it will happen, and if not, I've had a good life, especially the years with my wonderful wife and daughter (and dog too!). Happy travels to you both as always! Be seeing you!

Yeah! Glad to see you on this freezing morning (20 degrees...brrr). Yeah!! Fort Clinch/Fernandina Beach and Owen singing! My favorite place in FL! OMGoodness, you made me cry with the song and beautiful drive! We just had an elderly couple in our church to die this week. She passed away 12 days ago, he died day before yesterday (10 days apart). They reminded me of my parents...met in 8th grade, married for 48 years, but my Mom lived 16 years after him, missing him and waiting for the day to be called home for 16 years. ❤️ And, Yes..I did try to click my heels while walking... I did it but probably cleared a half inch or so.😂😂😂 Can’t wait to see Anastasia! Be safe and have fun! So much love from SC❤️🙏🏻

It not been that warm in Florida but I’m not going to complain. Owen was sore for a couple of days from the fall but that was about all. It could have been so much worse.
We (husband) outfitted a 2020 Transit with everything we have dreamed of with full bed, shower, kitchen, etc. It’s about 95% done (are they ever really done?😄) and have travelled a bit in the PNW with our Boxer (Stanley). Couldn’t love it more. We have been watching Van travel videos for several years to 1) help plan and build out our van, and 2) hit the road with a long list of trips (Alaska being the #1). He retired last year, but was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. They do not know how or why, but he is headed for a double lung transplant and my retirement is now on hold, the van stays parked nice and snug in the Shop, waiting until he is healthy again 🙏. Your song this morning was WONDERFUL, and we are hopeful God will bless us with many years to travel in our future. We love your videos, and look forward to them every week. Happy Tails 🧡

I’m not sure how far behind your videos are but thought I would throw this out to you. We live in northwest florida and if possible you should check out Ft Pickens at Pensacola Beach. It’s a must see. Try to get campground loop A if possible but the fort and the beach cannot be beat. There’s a nice walking trail that is pet friendly. We also love Blackwater River state park but Bear Lake campground is our family favorite. It’s located in Blackwater River State Forrest. Happy Camping

We are so sorry to hear that Rich. When we go out to eat now we’re amazed at all the couples hunched over phones and not talking. We’re just the opposite and now we’re glad we talk. I would miss that too. But, like us you probably finished each other’s sentences so sometimes it’s like you talk in code or shorthand. It is the simple things we eventually cherish the most. We hope you’re in a good place these days and full of memories.
It's hard ro find one at their stores. I had to order my Clam last week from Home Depot but it took about 3 days to get shipped to their store. I had the screens that fit it already though. I love the Clam so far but it's hard to store in my van. I have a tiny trailer to put it in too. It's heavy. Easy to take down. Also, it's been off and on rain here in Florida. Arizona doesn't have all this rain. Only 2% on my solar generator today. Too many cloud coverage days lately.
You will see in upcoming videos that we took the Walmart screen back and ordered the smallest clam from Lowe’s. We just got it yesterday, I think we are going to store it on the ladder. It’s so much easier to setup. It has been cooler here in Florida for sure. It’s about time to head west.

We wished we could have brought our room but it’s just to big for the van. The bugs love Owen and it’s makes for a not so fun time when you are fighting with the bugs. I hope you had a great time at Anastasia, we only had one night there so we did get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked.

Beautiful song....so true...life goes by so fast!!! When we were thinking we should have a larger RV, we watched a current episode of "Watts on Wheels: Will We Fit in A Regular Gas Station? // Emergency Stop for Fuel"......ouch. We will happily stay with our little 18' travel trailer. The pancake sandwich looked so yummy! Thank you for showing us Fort Clinch!
We battle with going bigger with more comforts and every time we decide to stay small. We only had one night at Fort Clinch and didn’t really do it justice, there’s so much more than we showed. It’s a great place to camp and explore for a least a week.

Hit 60 last year, so I'm wanting to go traveling as soon as we can. We do some here and there, but I really want to get out there with an RV and see the US. Hopefully, it will happen, and if not, I've had a good life, especially the years with my wonderful wife and daughter (and dog too!). Happy travels to you both as always! Be seeing you!

Yeah! Glad to see you on this freezing morning (20 degrees...brrr). Yeah!! Fort Clinch/Fernandina Beach and Owen singing! My favorite place in FL! OMGoodness, you made me cry with the song and beautiful drive! We just had an elderly couple in our church to die this week. She passed away 12 days ago, he died day before yesterday (10 days apart). They reminded me of my parents...met in 8th grade, married for 48 years, but my Mom lived 16 years after him, missing him and waiting for the day to be called home for 16 years. ❤️ And, Yes..I did try to click my heels while walking... I did it but probably cleared a half inch or so.😂😂😂 Can’t wait to see Anastasia! Be safe and have fun! So much love from SC❤️🙏🏻

It not been that warm in Florida but I’m not going to complain. Owen was sore for a couple of days from the fall but that was about all. It could have been so much worse.

We (husband) outfitted a 2020 Transit with everything we have dreamed of with full bed, shower, kitchen, etc. It’s about 95% done (are they ever really done?😄) and have travelled a bit in the PNW with our Boxer (Stanley). Couldn’t love it more. We have been watching Van travel videos for several years to 1) help plan and build out our van, and 2) hit the road with a long list of trips (Alaska being the #1). He retired last year, but was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. They do not know how or why, but he is headed for a double lung transplant and my retirement is now on hold, the van stays parked nice and snug in the Shop, waiting until he is healthy again 🙏. Your song this morning was WONDERFUL, and we are hopeful God will bless us with many years to travel in our future. We love your videos, and look forward to them every week. Happy Tails 🧡

I’m not sure how far behind your videos are but thought I would throw this out to you. We live in northwest florida and if possible you should check out Ft Pickens at Pensacola Beach. It’s a must see. Try to get campground loop A if possible but the fort and the beach cannot be beat. There’s a nice walking trail that is pet friendly. We also love Blackwater River state park but Bear Lake campground is our family favorite. It’s located in Blackwater River State Forrest. Happy Camping

Lover 6 years. It has been 5 1/2 for me and one thing I can't stop regretting is I wish we had just talked more. So simple.
We are so sorry to hear that Rich. When we go out to eat now we’re amazed at all the couples hunched over phones and not talking. We’re just the opposite and now we’re glad we talk. I would miss that too. But, like us you probably finished each other’s sentences so sometimes it’s like you talk in code or shorthand. It is the simple things we eventually cherish the most. We hope you’re in a good place these days and full of memories.
It's hard ro find one at their stores. I had to order my Clam last week from Home Depot but it took about 3 days to get shipped to their store. I had the screens that fit it already though. I love the Clam so far but it's hard to store in my van. I have a tiny trailer to put it in too. It's heavy. Easy to take down. Also, it's been off and on rain here in Florida. Arizona doesn't have all this rain. Only 2% on my solar generator today. Too many cloud coverage days lately.
You will see in upcoming videos that we took the Walmart screen back and ordered the smallest clam from Lowe’s. We just got it yesterday, I think we are going to store it on the ladder. It’s so much easier to setup. It has been cooler here in Florida for sure. It’s about time to head west.
