I do hope that Hasbro will remake more older lines like Armada or Animated. Also, how many Cybertron figures had they made/planned so far?
Well we have Hot Shot and Prime thanks to Siege, and Legacy has a Metroplex and Override coming up.

I think I had these as a kid, way before I was old enough to know how transformers worked. This video was definitely a throwback for me!
Me too I remember getting these for my 4th bday and I just recently saw armada Optimus on my insta and went down a rabbit hole and found these again
God I forgot that Blur existed, found one in a yard sale as a kid it Lasted me quite a few years before it broke.
I am now convinced, I genuinely want Longrack, or at least one of his mold mates
You should get one, he's legitimately a lot of fun.

The fact that a Beast Wars Neo character is a Cybertron toy is awesome
If not Longrack, get the Armada Hoist. He makes a great stand-in for a Cybertronian Dinobot.

The Hasbro release of this multi pack is what got me into Transformers when I was a kid on Christmas 2009

I love how nervous youbwere transforming blur, my armada blur has lived in a box and been roughly played with by a child for 20 years and hes still in good condition.
I really loved and enjoyed this line of toys. My favorite toys out of this line would be Cybertron Optimus Prime, Cybertron Megatron, Cybertron Starscream (that I would greatly enjoy seeing Thunder Cracker and Skywarp repaints of), and Primus. Also here's this video's 69th comment from me.

My very first Transformer was the Armada Cyclonus that was redecoed to Buzzsaw here and while the toy has been lost to time, the memory of that outrageously loud rotor has not, thanks for the trip down memory lane!

I had all of these, including a bendy optimus (with a G1 head) as a set, when I was a kid. Didn't take care of them very well, sadly. My favorites were Longrack and Buzzsaw!

I had buzzsaw when I was really little. My brother gave him to me and he had lost a lot of parts and I never figured out how to transform him. I spent ages trying to find a way for something to tab in lol

If buzzsaw is anything like Armada cyclonus the end of the chopper tail can be removed and inserted on the little guns on the side of the hands

I had the Blurr as a kid, and surprisingly it broke only at the non-clear plastic parts of its joints! The white plastic of the shoulders & hips are the points it broke for me, so it may be worth it to just loosen the joints a bit.
Idea! Steve Downes or Kellen Goff should voice Optimus Prime for future shows and movies. I love Foushee but I think he would be a better Cyclonus.
Armada Blurrs hip assembly baffles me to this day. Like its got hinges and ball joints that dont even need to be there.
I have the longrack but without the box, instructions, or right arm below the shoulder because I got it at some yard sale and my only problems with it is the lack of a right arm.
Edit: forgot to mention but yes it does have a key. Glad to see the previous owner had their priorities in check.

Update: I finally got an arm for longrack.
Oh god I actually remember owning this four pack, it came with a bizzarre version of armada prime. Blurr ubfortunately had to get trashed by younger me due to his side door breaking off.
That Blurr and other mold mates would have made a nice Tracks figure.
PLEASE do more Cybertron Extravaganza’s.
On the Buzzsaw mold you can remove the back end of the chopper and slot attach it to the right hand as a gun.

blur is such a strange case of reverse mass shifting. the bot mode is TINY!
Buzzsaw showed up in cybertron for a new copter on the speed planet when they raced
I highly recommend Longrack, having picked him up on a whim after seeing him in the store for the first time just because he looked so dignified and had a cool head. But if he's not available, Armada Hoist was just as good except for the deco, and he had Dinobot's head for some reason, so he makes a good stand-in for Dinobot's Cybertronian mode. There WAS an official recolor of it as "Dynobot" but it's an exclusive and hella expensive.
The Armada version of the Blurr mold doesn't have any clear plastic moving parts, so it's maybe the better alternative over the Cybertron version.
Runamuck is hateful and I despise how terrible his robot mode is.
The hilarious thing to me about the Buzzsaw/Cyclonus mold is that it really seems to have been the starting point for Bayverse Blackout. They took that idea and said "what if we made the parts lock in properly, and also gave it better articulation?" Unfortunately that meant a dinky little thing because all the mass went into the rotor gimmick.

The long rack transformer actually did appear in a movie called are we there yet at first when I noticed that I didn't think of anything of it but like a few years later when I was able to get the movie back in hand I noticed this and it was just it drove me nuts because it's just like the kid was playing with it and it was this exact Deco of it but yeah little fun fact for you
The US release of him looks pretty much the same so it may be that one, the only difference is the cyber key.

cybetron was the second show ive watched and i do like it. i dont remember the show being too funny tho....as for the toys i like them and they have a special place in my mind
I found Long Rack at a swapmeet but he was missing an entire leg but I instead got Primus

With cybertron blurr its a your milage may vary....my copy has very smooth joints that dont tend to stick and the wings deploy every time
I had the Armada Blurr as a kid and I can confirm the build quality was a lot better because it didn't have any transparent plastic other than the headlights and the windshield. Also the head is cooler but that's just my opinion.
I think you lift up Blurr's shoulderpads and then swing his shoulders out? I don't remember having problems with my Armada one quite like that

I got all guys because I bought the battle for the cyber planet keys back for the Optimus prime.
Buzzsaw is my favorite of the four though that's mainly due to childhood nostalgia.
10/10 recommend cybertron crosswise

The only Cybertron figure I have is Backstop, I got him a few days ago and I really like him! He’s so ugly, but like cute ugly? And the planet key gimmick is super fun to play with!

Wasn't the Galaxy Force one named Runabout? I know he was nameswapped for his brother in the Cybertron line.
I remember getting this toy, knowing what I was getting into, and it just made me giggle at how BAD it was. The deco is AMAZING (though I had a laugh at the paintmatching in alt mode before I realized that it's actually difficult), but the mold is just so... unfortunate. I think Aaron Archer said that the Sideswipe mold was a huge disappointment and not at all what was intended.

I know this is unrelated to the video but have you seen transformers re:energized?
Can confirm, the Armada Blurr is SO MUCH BETTER than that one. The only annoying thing about the figure is that you need a minicon in order to fire the missiles, which is pain, but the minicon you get with it is actually one of the cooler ones from the toyline. Might be nostalgia talking from having the figure for a long time, but a solid 8/10 figure.

I had a set with all four of these and a weird Armada style Optimus Prime that obviously wasn’t the figure from the original line but was not necessarily made for Cybertron either
That's the Battle for the Cyber Planet Keys set from the Universe line, the Optimus Prime in the set is an actual figure from both the Armada and Cybertron toylines, the original release of the mold was called Super-Con Optimus Prime which was then released with a Cyber Planet Key in Cybertron and then repainted in a G1-like color scheme for the Universe 5-pack.

Kinda sucks how they neutered every Mini-con gimmick in the Blurr mold. Got myself the Galaxy Force Micron Booster Mini-Cons that were gang-molded with these four figures, and poor Wrench is the only one of the four that doesn't have anywhere to go. At least Longrack still has mini-con pegs...
They should have used the blur as a tracks figures
Runamok gives me more fox body mustang vibes rather than R32 Skyline vibes but that might be just me
Im not sure if you're aware, but Longrack is a callback to the beast wars neo figure of the same name who just so happened to be, you guessed it; a giraffe.

I just sold that blurr nice alt mode but it's horrible and that runamuck or ransack whatever it's name was wow only 2 that seem ok is buzzsaw because I got the cyclonus and actually like it and long arm seems good don't have that 1 though

All these molds are so fun they re released demolisher too In Cybertron but he's just a worse armada one they changed nothing on the figure and instead of a minicon he got a key with a minicon port so you just kinda lose some of the fun features

personally, I find runamuck better than the original sideswipe. which isn't saying much. the gun works better than the minicon in my opinion

I gotta lot of love in my heart for longrack. Grew up with him and he’s always been a favorite of mine. Tho the ball joints for his hips are incredibly loose after all these years. I actually lost my copy a few years ago, and just rebound where he’d ended up the other day and it is very good to have him again.
