Thanks! I dont quite understand the whole mapped element thing but i just replaced it with a transform variable in the control rig representing the target actors location that i update from the blueprint and it worked out
@@parakyl1771 hey way u can share the files if possible i running into slight issues trying to get the bones to actually move correctly with the movement im not sure why i re-watched ur video today like 20 times lol
@@iSPEZZ I would but they're maaaaasive, many GB's. What bones aren't moving right, the physics based or kinematic lerped ones? If using Maya, are your bone rotations all correct? I had a lot of issues with that, before skinning there's a menu command about orient all bones, that fixed a bunch of problems.
@@iSPEZZif they're moving but just don't look smooth or nice, my best guess is your need to improve the paint weights. Literally the most amount of time on fish fins was tweaking those paint weights. Too smooth and it felt stiff, too tight and it was too twitchy robotic. It was a nightmare getting it right. Plus try that limit constraints thing when setting up the physics asset, keeps the bones from going bananas!
Thanks!
