@Michael Burgos as you mentioned about the extra biblical revelation of the Oneness teaching, that definitely takes me back to my earliest days of being in the UPCI;basically like you said that if you grasp the teaching and receive it,then you have “the revelation.”It took 29 years for my eyes to be opened to the errency of this teaching, and have been going to a bible believing church over 9 years already.
Thank you so much for this! I had been looking for a copy of your book, "Kiss the Son: A Christological Apology in Response to David K. Bernard's The Oneness of God", and in my search found you on Twitter and discovered this video. Our family left the UPCI after 30 years, and together we have been striving to gain a deeper understanding of oneness versus trinitarianism that will not only benefit us, but equip us to share with others who are also making an exodus from the UPC. God has certainly been gracious to us. We now attend a wonderful reformed church with excellent expository teaching. We have grown so much in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ! To date the jury is still out on cessationism versus continuationism. I'm wondering if you will addressing that in any of your future videos?
Interesting because I did the exact opposite as you. I’m a former Trinitarian who became Oneness. God saved me from the Trinity heresy. By the way, you seem to be under the false assumption that UPC = Oneness. If so, you’re mistaken. The UPC is only one organization among many Oneness organizations.
dgreenja I absolutely believe that God is one, as do all trinitarians. Something I was gravely misled on in the UPC and sadly did not question. Though I could never understand why the language of the Bible didn’t seem to fit with David Bernards theology. Yes, I do believe that our one great God is triune in nature.
Pastor Burgos- I have learned so much through your videos. My son was just baptized into a branch of Oneness pen tocostals. He confronted me on the Nicean Creed today. I remember you mentioning it in a video. Could you tell me which one it is? You explained it so well I'd really like to show him. Thank you so much and God Bless your work!
Pastor Burgos, your work regarding the Oneness (false) doctrines are a tremendous resource and a blessing to layman like myself who need in depth resources in order to rescue “brands from the fire”. Thanking God for your work.
OK if the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit aren't each other explain Matthew 1:20, and Luke 1:35, who is the Father of Jesus? Matthew 28:19, and Acts 20:28, who is the 3rd person of the Trinity?
First, I want to thank you for responding so kindly to my decidedly biting comment. Next, let me apologize for how harshly it was worded. I don't remember leaving that comment as it was 8 months ago, but I'm thinking I found your video at a time when I was dealing with a dear friend who subscribes to the Oneness theology and trying to explain the contradictions to her but not having much success. I was frustrated so I decided to try to find help on RUclips. Your video must have been in the top results so I assumed its intention was to teach others how to witness to Modalists. I didn't realize that it was actually an intellectual piece drawn from your book. I went back and listened to the other video again and it made more sense to me this time, probably because I realize now that it is more an intellectual video than just a layperson's explanation of the problems with Oneness theology so I was ready for it. Also, I'm sure the first time I probably watched it before bed and had a tired brain. Lol. I haven't watched all of this one yet but I was very touched by your graceful response to my comment so I wanted to address it while it was fresh in my mind. Now I'm going to watch this one and hopefully I'll be able to wrap my mind around it this time, even though I'm about to go to bed again. (Getting a feel for my routine?) Hahahaha. Anyway, thank you for your work on this important subject and for your forgiving attitude towards my comment. God bless you and your ministry.
Ask him who first taught the trinity? Was it Jews? Jesus,? Apostles? Disciples in the Bible? Ask him why he rejects Jesus name being used a d where anyone was baptized in the titles? Ask him why he suffers from the Monarchians and Trinitarians in the necessity of baptism, he seems to be teaching his own extra biblical doctrine. For they believed I. Water Baptism as a spiritual act. The. Ask him who in the 2nd century taught the godhead as he holds today? For you see, they held a vertical view of the godhead F S HS as pre- Trinitarians as it had to be developed outside the Bible and with non biblical words, phrases and terms, which they kept making up and making people think was true. The later view which thought if the other view as heresy became the horizontal view as F,S,HS. Don't be fooled the Bishops in the early church were MONARCHIANS and the Modalist variety, because that is exactly what the Bible is showing, despite this man pretending his false Protestant mess didn't actually bring about extrabiblical revelations!! Ignatius of Antioch, Noetus of Smyrna, Sabellius in Africa, and a succession of known Monarchians and up to 222 a.d. Michael was devious in how he tied in utter nonsense to Pentecostals( because of his hate for such) . And especially us Monarchians today called Oneness Apostolic Pentecostals. Non Catholics, Non Protestant's called Anabaptists... Not Baptists which was a Protestant denomination, were Monarchians and Unitarians and Socinians and Arians. [ Not saying all were correct] were persecuted by Catholics and Protestants. Monarchians according to Adolph Harnack stayed that he counted 4 successive Bishops of Rome Eleutherus, Victor, Zephyrinus and Callistus as Monarchians? How is that? If the Trinity was the Church belief, how were we in charge ? Clement of Rome a earlier one, made no trinitarian three person godhead view in his writings. Pius the half brother of the Shepherd Hermas who was a man that held baptism in the shorter formula in the name of the Lord ( Jesus is that Lord). Would by his association most likely have been like Hermas a Monarchian. All baptisms in Jesus name and Michael follows the Catholic s church baptism a d they count anyone so baptized as Catholic. Michael is a Catholic pure and simple and a part of the murdering cult .
Michael R Burgos, the rebirth is a separate experience to the baptism with the Holy Ghost. Salvation is by surrounding are will to God, and Saul surrendered to Jesus when he said, (Lord, what would you have me to) Acts 9: 6. KJV, NKJV. Certainly not from Philo. Listen champ, should you be willing to defend your completely unscholarly views in debate, I’m more than willing to engage. Otherwise, stop asking the same question repeatedly.
Your choice if starting positions is singular making you more interesting than most who address this topic. One point I wish to address, that "barn" you described was originally and A.M.E. facility that was no longer in use. Also, Howard Goss looking back on the early years commented that there was a great deal of abuse, and that new doctrines/revelations had to pass a hearing of ministers where it would be examined by many minds in the light of Scripture. Those that could pass that bar were then presented to the wider community. This would have had a severe weeding effect on aberrations. I will grant that I am on the more conservative end of the spectrum, and so my knowledge of the position of many preachers in incomplete. It has long been my understanding that most UPCI, ALJC, AMF (the name has been changed and I could only remember the former designation), and WPF preachers consider T.D. Jakes and Tommy Tenny to have left the faith and are placed in the same breath as Osteen, Meyers, Hinn, Dollar, Hagin, Copeland, and company. If should also be known that many ministers view the cooperation between Oneness and Trinitarian Pentecostal scholars with concern because of the Trinitarian Pentecoatals nearly complete embrace and merger with the Charismatic/Prosperity/Third Wave/NAR doctrines and lifestyles. There have been concerns for years among conservative Oneness preachers that our liberals were attempting to attempt to dilute our distinctives and eccumenicize.
Well, we have many extant patristic writings, although not 1st century save Polycarp and possibly a handful of others (e.g. Clement). Antenicene beliefs were diverse. I’ve read them, and most of those who held bishoprics reflect orthodox Christianity. Although, some fathers display certain inadequacies (e.g., Justin who never read Paul).

The question is pastor, how can one educate their fellow brother and sister in the Pentecostal movement of the errors within their belief system without destroying their belief in God?
Good question. 1.) Keep in mind that it is the Holy Spirit who convicts, grants repentance, and gives faith. Therefore, ultimately, salvation is a work of God and thus we need not fear being truthful. 2.) That said, we must communicate the truth explicitly and in love for the sake of their souls. 3.) Never ought we add unnecessary offense to the gospel and the truths of Scripture. 4.) Lean heavily upon the Bible-- if one is loyal to Scripture they will listen to the Shepherd's voice even if it is offensive. Cheers
Dr. Burgos, I hope this comment finds you well. I tried finding an electronic copy of your book and was unsuccessful. Is there one? Furthermore, what does your interactions regarding the below text tell you regarding tongues? 1 Corinthians 14:2 ESV For one who speaks in a tongue speaks not to men but to God; for no one understands him, but he utters mysteries in the Spirit.

I bought ur book, highly recommend it to others who are in contact with Oneness adherents. The book is very technical and sound. Very easy to see that a lot of work went into writing it. I did not see an Oneness doctrine stand the test...not one. Btw u were supposed to sign my copy but didn’t. ;-) Great work.
One thing I notice often, in fact pretty much without fail, is that when people criticize Oneness Pentecostals, or Oneness Apostolics, is that they will go on and on about people that have nothing to do with Oneness Pentecostals. It's really weird, and kind of a cheap trick in my opinion. Not sure if it's out of ignorance or malice, but it's certainly not kind.
@@lisawilson1453 12 or more minutes in and we still hadn't gotten to Oneness Pentecostals...or even pentecostals of any flavor actually. It's no different.
I know that was a vague answer. So I would add that I couldn't fit the oneness into Jesus baptism and what happened on that day. You see Jesus, you see the Holy Spirit, and you hear the voice of God. Also what lead me out was the legalism. Well The Lord led me out and I haven't been the same since. Michael- you say early on you came from a Pentecostal background. Did you have the experience they refer to as the baptism in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues?
They are probably asking because if you had received it, you wouldn’t be trying to refute it. People who have received the gift of the Holy Ghost are hard to be convinced that their experience was just emotional, or something other than spiritual.

The purpose of translation is to produce an accurate rendering for people today. Hence “languages” is both accurate and current and the archaism “tongues” is not.
Love your videos michael, but at the beginning you totally butchered what Arminians actually believe. Not a big deal, calvinists usually don't know and only repeat what other calvinists say. You may want to pick up "Arminian theology: myths and realities" by Dr. Roger Olson.
Im not a Oneness Pentecostal but why do you use the term "Extra-Biblical Revelation"? Was it extra-biblical when it was revealed to Peter that Jesus was the son of God (Matthew 16:17) or that the prophecy of Joel was being fulfilled in Act 2:14-21? Was it extra-biblical when Paul understood that the story of Abraham and Sarah was a allegory of two covenants (Galatians 4:12-31) or when Jesus revealed certain things to (his true disciples) those who obeyed him in Matthew 13:10-11? Why is it so hard to believe that someone could receive revelation from God? That sounds like a lack of faith to me. It is clear that God reveals things to men from the beginning of the bible to the end (1 Corinthians 2:10). I believe its safe to say that if the church today is continuing in the ministry of the New Testament, then God will deal with his children accordingly. The revelation we receive is never anything new or different from what is written, but merely a clearer/deeper understanding of those things that are written (Proverbs 4:7, Isaiah 28:9-10). "Extra-biblcal" or biblical(1 Corinthians 1:27)?
Thanks for your comment. As for my use of "extra-biblical revelation," I am presupposing a closed and sufficient canon. Unless you'd like to append these new alleged revelations to the back of your NT, there must be a dividing line between the current ministry of the Holy Spirit and the Spirit inspired Word. The examples you pointed to are inScripturated and thus demonstrate my point.
@@23Dominique32 Whereas I do believe the Bible to be generally clear since God is the communicator par excellence, I don't see how that is relevant to the statements I made. Either you believe in a closed canon or you don't.
@@Actschapter7verse55 I believe it is VERY important. When the Ethiopian eunuch was reading Isaiah in Acts 8:26-40, it was clear that he didn't understand what was written. He said "How can I, unless someone guides me". It took a man (Philip) with the Holy Ghost to "unlock" his understanding. In this example and all the ones I spoke of prior, the Holy Spirit was key in understanding. There are many preachers preaching these day who are not annoited(Romans 10:15 [chosen by God signified by the Holy Ghost]) to preach. Many people go to Seminary School and get degrees to preach but that isn't whatt makes a man fit to preach(Paul in Acts 22:1-14). Jesus called them blind guides (Matthew 23:24-26) because they could see past their philosophy and carnal understanding. Its not what a man can teach but what the Lord teaches through his Word by the Holy Spirit. Paul was brought up under Gamaliel and didn't learned nearly as much as he learned from his time learning from Christ. In the ministry of the New Testament Christ left us with a teacher (Spirit) so that we can understand his word as we should (John 16:7). You said that a person receives the Spirit when they are baptized, but if that were true then there is no need for preachers in the Western context because we would all have the same understanding (John 16:13). Its clear that not everyone one will understand what is in tended because not everyone will submit to Christ though they call themselves believers (John 14:17). A preacher like Paul travails with a congregation and its members until each member receives the Holy Spirit (Galatians 4:19).
@@23Dominique32 you’re proposing a epistemological conflict between the church and the Scriptures- a false dichotomy. No one said the church isn’t important or necessary. The issue is the canon. And I never said one receives the Spirit at baptism. That isn’t my view.
Took 36 min. To get to Oneness! R.E.McCallister was correct all baptisms in the bible are in Jeaus name and with good reason, there is no salvation in any other name, that whatever we do in word or deed to do it in Jesus name, like prayer, healing, casting out demons and baptism. Ive notice the condescending down play of all who are not reformers, but the Pentecostals are bad ,so you heap on them every negative you can . Like Shepp, McCalister Parham. Mt. 28:19 was never respoken in baptism in scrioture, so the doctrine of witnesses is missing on your part , for such triune title formula. Like everyone getting baltized with the Hoky Ghost with a absolutely nothing baptism, nit even a do dad on the back of the neck. A pimple. I notice how you dosmiss midalism like it wasn't even the doctrine of the early church, so you use 500 a.d. as almost a starting point, thiugh your wirds ciuld have dated it befire, you use a late and not the early of the 2nd century with Ignatius and Clement. Dec. 5, 1955 Time ran a article on early church baptism ca 100a.d. and in such the candidate for baptism was baptized "in the name of the Lord Jesus" On the front cover if the magazibe had the SBC President Theodore Adams on it. ( He must have been nit to okeased with Jesus name baptism). So Michael your attack against us and putting extrabiblical revelation for restoration of truths, that came back in the 20th centuey here in America . Goss's quite was nit a extrabiblical revelation at all, but was getting back to the real 1st century truths, that your church yhrew out , from the beginning you have lied and twisted and you apparently dont know jack about Monarchians of the 1st century or thus century even today. Well, that claim ought to be rather easy to demonstrate. Please provide some evidence (e.g., literature espousing Oneness teachings; sermons) for your claim. "Quakers" and anabaptists in general, refers to quite a wide array of different sects. Which one demonstrates your claim? I'm assuming your comment about "Moravians baptists" is a reference to the Moravian Church which is, again, a trinitarian denomination affirming all of the ecumenical creeds.
Jews, Samaritans, and gentiles were all baptized in Jesus’ name in Acts. Regardless of what the interpretation, they did practice baptism in this way and it is written in Acts.

I am watching this to hear why someone limits God to being just the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. It has always been fascinating to me that people would embrace the philosophy of the trinity. The philosophy of the trinity just seems like a very odd thing for some people to latch on to and take seriously. It's not even that the philosophy of the trinity is not Biblical. There are a lot of other religious and quasi-religious philosophies that are more impactful and useful than the philosophy of the trinity.
The church I was going to in college was OP before I got there. I had no clue that was the case bc by the time I got there, they had repented of it. Thank God! After I left, I went to a COGIC bc I was in NC for school. Over time, I began to sense something seemed off. I moved to Maryland & began to go to an AG. I also left there within 1.5 years bc I began listening to Sproul, Begg, White, & Durbin. I found that Calvinism was pretty sound in what was being taught. I now go to an independent Baptist church. They're reformed from what I can tell. Well, at least, from what I can tell from those who have preached. I've never heard anyone outright say they're reformed.
Jesus is not God the Fathe and He is not the Holy Ghost . Anyone who believes that Jesus is someone other than the Son of God does not believe in the true God revealed in Scripture . I separae myself from people who believe such a heresy because they show their ignorance of Scripture and they make me sick to listen to them .I am a former United Pentecostal and made a clean break from Oneness Pentecostalism after I left . Michael Burgos , I appreciate many of your presentations which have exposed what is wrong with United Pentecostals and similar Oneness Pentecostals .
It is disingenuous and improbable to assert that only recently did people start to speak in tongues and not limit God to just being the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Oneness Pentecostalism began in the Upper Room in the books of Acts. It is disingenuous and improbable to suggest that, since the Upper Room, lots of different people failed to interpret scripture in all kinds of ways. Thinking that the philosophy of the trinity and lack of the Holy Ghost is the only thing that has been practiced and preached for the last two thousand years is just not believable. Trying to cherry-pick a few people and ascribe it to two thousand years of history is akin to propaganda.
Matthew 28 19 in it's original form it was like this go ye therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in my Name that's why apostles baptized everyone in the name of Jesus Christ in the second century it was changed by the universal church they dropped in my name and added the name of the father and the son and the holy ghost Eusebius an early church leader that lived in 285 A D had read the earlier version in my name
When Jesus said baptize in the name of the father son and holy ghost the father does have a name so does the son and so does the holy ghost they are not the same person

How about let’s look at the origin of the trinity. It was formed by two polytheistic nations, the Greeks and the Romans. It was a formed thought. It was then a forced thought. Even when the Protestants formed they forced their doctrines not through murder but still through banishment and silencing any critique. The three headed God is so far from scripture. God in scripture is the Father and Jesus is the Christ who was elevated to God because the Father reigns in and through him because the Father is invisible. Our mediator is THE MAN CHRIST JESUS. He was anointed. His God is the Father. That’s right, Jesus HAS A GOD. Jesus said we should WORSHIP THE FATHER. Not a trinity.

Tertullian is the man who introduced the theory God is 3 person Over and over scripture tells us God is One Deuteronomy 6.4 hear o Israel the Lord our God is one LORD Jesus never taught a 3 person God How then can you call one God a plural God With whom shall I be equal Philippians 2.9 Jesus thought it not robbery to be equal with God That's because he was God in flesh Trinity cannot remit any sins No other name but Jesus can forgive sins Read your Bible As long as you believe what you think you will never see the truth As pilot wife told pilot If you can't hear truth no one can show you
Scripture says the 3 agree in 1. Oneness hate verses like John 17:5 and Hebrews 1 because they have to really dance with and twist Scripture to make their modalistic heresy fit. UPCI and apostolic pentecostalism were invented in North America is 1913 and became a denomination in the 1940s and then in the 1990s tongues was made a requirement for salvation. The origins alone should turn people away from the cult.
Trinitarians fail to understand that there is no such thing as "the eternal Son". A son is only manifested once he comes forth from a father. That automatically means that time is involved, because you have an "event" that transpires causing the subjects to gain titles of "Father" and "Son". Therefore before this "event" occured, there had to be only "One being" present - Elohim. The invisible, eternal Spirit - God. What was his first act? Create the Logos (Rev. 3:14). By and through this Logos, the rest of creation was made. Nothing came into existence without the Logos. This Logos inherits everything that is in Elohim. The whole of God. Eventually, this Logos was made flesh. The flesh man, inherits everything that the Logos was, and declares it to mankind (John 16:15) Now if you read Hebrews 1:1-3, you'll see that Elohim did nothing except through the Logos. In olden times, he appeared and spoke via many different forms, but after a while, He came in human flesh. Who is behind all of this? Elohim, the only eternal Spirit. Hebrews then tells us in Heb.1:3 that the fleshly manifestation is the direct manifestation of His Person. In other words, Elohim has clearly and thoroughly been expressed to us, in Jesus Christ. So then the question comes: Who is Jesus? He is merely a vessel that Elohim used to express Himself to mankind. What about the Holy Spirit? It is the Spirit (Elohim) that was in Jesus, now trying to express Himself in and through us. The Bible explicitly says that God is A PERSON - Singular - (Hebrews 1:3). John 6:62-63 KJV [62] What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? [63] It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. If what you call "Modalism" is such a heresy, what do you say about Hebrews 1:1? He revealed Himself via "Diverse manners", "prophets" & now via "His Son". Same "Person" mentioned in Hebrews 1:3, speaking all the time since creation. If you'll now read Ephesians 4:6, you'll see that God is one Person manifesting himself via a variety of means. And yes, Jesus was God, manifested in the flesh.

They prayed in languages without understanding and without interpretation as well. That’s a fact. Praying in languages we don’t understand edifies the individual as he is speaking to God not men. Speak on that part.
The history of Oneness starts in the book of Genesis. The history of Oneness Pentecostals start in the book of Acts. A person cannot be honest in talking about the history of the Oneness of God without going back to the beginning, just like you cannot talk about the philosophy of the trinity without beginning with First Council of Nicaea in 325 AD.
Silly Trinitarians they think Gos are triplets. When The Holy Scriptures teach that God is One. The Holy One. Jesus Christ. He is The Lord. He is The I Am. Do not ever compromise The First Commandment of them all....The Lord our God is One Lord. One. Agape and Shalom.
Either God is one God or three. Knowing Him as He would have us do in our personal relationship with Him would make this question paramount to say the least.

Greetings to you my sister. Just asking, are you now trinitarian in belief?
Interesting because I did the exact opposite as you. I’m a former Trinitarian who became Oneness. God saved me from the Trinity heresy. By the way, you seem to be under the false assumption that UPC = Oneness. If so, you’re mistaken. The UPC is only one organization among many Oneness organizations.
For that matter, the entire church from Pentecost until the rapture, is oneness.
Awesome Anne!
dgreenja I absolutely believe that God is one, as do all trinitarians. Something I was gravely misled on in the UPC and sadly did not question. Though I could never understand why the language of the Bible didn’t seem to fit with David Bernards theology. Yes, I do believe that our one great God is triune in nature.

What do you think the earliest believers (first century church) believed about God? Were they Trinitarian, Oneness, or Unitarian?
Well, we have many extant patristic writings, although not 1st century save Polycarp and possibly a handful of others (e.g. Clement). Antenicene beliefs were diverse. I’ve read them, and most of those who held bishoprics reflect orthodox Christianity. Although, some fathers display certain inadequacies (e.g., Justin who never read Paul).

3.) Lean heavily upon the Bible-- if one is loyal to Scripture they will listen to the Shepherd's voice even if it is offensive. Cheers

Nothing wrong with how it was translated as tongues. The meaning back then was different from how people use it now.
The purpose of translation is to produce an accurate rendering for people today. Hence “languages” is both accurate and current and the archaism “tongues” is not.

Are you saying that everything that is written is clear, concise, and should be easily understood by everyone reading it?

Yikes… this is the result of anti-intellectualism and anti-education sentiment in oneness Pentecostalism

Good teaching God bless
My apologies for a lengthy comment. I gave been accused of substituting on word with seven.
Jesus did teching pentacostalizm?
Oneness Pentecostal saints have been in America since 1700. 1800. 1900 Quakers Moravians baptists who practice Oneness Acts 2 38 bid revival started about 1890- 1906 continues today among UPCI and P A W Apostolic Assemblies
Regardless of what the interpretation, they did practice baptism in this way and it is written in Acts.
thanks for sharing the video
Thank you brother.
Monotheism is much older than this guy says it is. It is original and biblical. The doctrine of the trinity began in the third century.
Trinitarians believe in one God.
@@lisawilson1453Thank you for stating that. Yes; I think upc people are taught others believe in 3 gods. I came out of it 18 years ago and can attest to that.
Maybe because the vast majority of Christians believed in the trinity by name since the 3rd century and the trinity by experience since the 1st.
I also went to the oneness church and I left after only a year and 10 months . It came quick for me .
1844 not 1854
Is believing That Jesus is The Father a sin?
Believing wrong things about God is a sin, yes.
Michael R. Burgos Is it a heresy?
Say Selam yes.
Michael R. Burgos so if I run the risk of not being saved if I follow this doctrine?
Say Selam idols don’t redeem people from their sin.
To say modalism as a jab to oneness is no different than accusing trinitarian belief as tritheism. “God is one” is not a question. Johnny Mac is not a great expositor.
Michael, you are of MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. Rev 17:5 . Your Mother killed millions and your Churches in the Protestant heresies killed 10's of thousands and would be doing it today, if we didn't come up with modern laws in Western countries, especially here in America.
I came out of Catholicism, Baptist and non denominationalism.
I will tell you now, that you cannot find your Trinity teaching in the Bible or 2nd century, it was developed over 200 yrs to Nicea 325, when Trinitarians needed then Monarchians ( the early Oneness) to come up with a response against Arianism, and finalized at the Council in Constantinople in 381 a d .
Now starting with us in the 20th century, is only a restoration God started the end time Revival which has gone from a few with similar ideas and they were not Millerites who we were associated with, studied or even mention. What a lying start!
So you have put yourself in a role as a liar and deciever against the true Saints.
BY MENTIONING THIS LIE AND ASSOCIATING US WITH SUCH, SHOWS HOW LOW YOU WILL GO.
THE ORIGINAL ORTHODOXY.
We are not Protestants, though many came out of them and a Catholic churches.
Btw, you did terrible against Jerry Hayes.
You I am sure will avoid the history against your church.
I know you will as well deny Jesus as the Supreme God, and make him a junior deity along with two others, which is unknown in scripture.
So you have gone about 24 min as my typing and spoke nothing! But leading people to believe we are liberals, which is not even close, we are conservative as they come.
Like Zephyrinus and Callistus, who were Monarchians and Modalists, as we are ( even if people don't use the term or know much about it).[ Many Oneness in past accepted those things written against the Modalist idea, based on what they were mislead on. i.e.John Paterson].
J.N.D. Kelly held us as the original conservative Christianity in Rome holding to that which antedated the Apologists , EARLY CHRISTIAN DOCTRINES.pg 125
"ZEPHYRINUS AND CALLISTUS WERE THUS CONSERVATIVES HOLDING FAST TO A MONARCHIAN TRADITION WHICH ANTEDATED THE WHOLE MOVEMENT OF THOUGHT INAUGURATED BY THE APOLOGISTS.
(Your bogus guys developing and for formulating a triune godhead idea.)
CONSERVATIVE, TOO THOUGH AT A MORE SOPHISTICATED AND LEARNED LEVEL, WAS THE MONARCHIAN THEOLOGY DEVELOPED BY THE ROMAN PRESBYTER NOVATIAN CA 250 A.D.)"
I hope most people that see this lying video you have presented tying in The title to Oneness Apostolic Pentecostals and making us in anyway with JW's, Millerites, Sanford, Mormons etc.
You haven't given anything true at 26 min. About us! But to the ignorant follower of your's, they think you are building the case against us, and not PROTESTANTS doubt you will get to it.
So where does John 17:5 fit in here? Or Hebrews 1? Or John 1?
@@christophercreekmore9187 It’s all Covenant language when dealing with Jesus. John 1 the WORD was with God. The plan was with God. Gods word is the Old Testament. It prophesied about Jesus. That word became flesh when Jesus was born and Fulfilled scripture.
Hebrews 1 is Jesus being given the Kingdom which would last forever. 1:5 says He will be to me a Son (Future tense) and He was anointed (1:9). His Kingdom is everlasting 1:8 which began at ascension. Colossians 1 has the same language. Firstborn in the Spirit Kingdom. The creation was in and through Jesus meaning Israel the New Heaven and New Earth.
@@stacyturbeville6863 Jesus existed before the incarnation. He appeared to Abraham in Genesis 18. Nobody has seen God Jesus said referring to The Father, that was Jesus that appeared to Abraham in Genesis 18. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all co-eternal, co-existing, and co-equal. 1 God existing in 3 persons yet only 1 God.
I find it is next to impossible to speak to these people...For example,a guy you debated named Daniel Myers runs and hides when i ask deep thought questions....
Creeds and confessions hold no more weight or authority than you or any other Christian speaking on a Sunday
Mike, if you want meaningful dialogue with Oneness believers you should avoid statements like “how Christians can respond to our Oneness friends” - as if Oneness believers are not Christians. Would be better to say “how Trinitarians can give a....”
I don't view Oneness Pentecostals as within the bounds of biblical Christianity, and I would add, that neither does the balance of evangelicalism, save, a few confused Pentecostals. Thanks for your suggestion, but no.
@@Actschapter7verse55 could you explain that last part... “Neither does the balance of evangelicalism, save, a few confused pentacostals.” Thanks!
@@Actschapter7verse55 Could you please explain how one becomes a Christian, and where exactly the Bible even insinuates that trinitarian belief is part of that requirement?
@@micahturner9735 if you've "poured through" my book, then you'd know the answer to those questions.
Tertullian is the man who introduced the theory God is 3 person
Over and over scripture tells us God is One
Deuteronomy 6.4 hear o Israel the Lord our God is one LORD
Jesus never taught a 3 person God
How then can you call one God a plural God
With whom shall I be equal
Philippians 2.9
Jesus thought it not robbery to be equal with God
That's because he was God in flesh
Trinity cannot remit any sins
No other name but Jesus can forgive sins
Read your Bible
As long as you believe what you think you will never see the truth
As pilot wife told pilot
If you can't hear truth no one can show you
Trinitarians are worshipping a three-Minded God, One GOD with Three Heads, like a Three-Headed Monster, One Body with Three HEADS.
The flesh man, inherits everything that the Logos was, and declares it to mankind (John 16:15)
Now if you read Hebrews 1:1-3, you'll see that Elohim did nothing except through the Logos.
John 6:62-63 KJV
[62] What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?

I imagine you are Baptist or Neo Baptist, but either way, total error and heresy.
Your daughter in law is in the truth, you I imagine cannot walk even in the but if light shown to you. One God vs a Trinity if three in a godhead, just like the pagan gentile deities of old.

Given your enormous confidence, I have an open invitation to formally debate.
Oneness and trinity doctrines are basically the same, both are false lead people away from the truth.
Either God is one God or three. Knowing Him as He would have us do in our personal relationship with Him would make this question paramount to say the least.
They literally did baptize in Jesus’ name, the name of Jesus Christ, the name of the Lord. There’s no doubt about what is written in Acts.
