Broke support at $150, no support until $106. Going to be a horrid end to April but excellent if you want to pick up Tesla stock at a massive discount.

Cutting price may not be negative. IMO it is bullish simply because the intention is to increase sales volume /revenue and catapult fsd adoption. This should be the strategy for bad market conditions. Bear in mind the margin for fsd is huge!

I Don’t get the point in dropping the prices by $2000. Nobody is going to run out to buy a Tesla with a mere $2000 off.
Gotta drop it at least $7000-$10,000 if their plans are to push them into customers hands.

What if the take rate of FSD v12 at the new $99/month price is so good that Elon is thinking, as he has stated before, that he would sell the cars at a loss providing that he could more than make up for it on the sale of software? Razor blades vs razor model.
Price drop is great news. Ok, 2k drop initially but when you factor in say a 30% take up of FSD Supervised at $99 month - future earnings😅

Tesla is going to continue to head downhill day by day until they start pushing something new out. The media and EV haters alone are driving the company into the ground. This is what they all want. The layoff that happened was mainly a performance layoff. Anyone who wasn’t pulling their weight got cut. So I’m hoping things get better quick

everything that’s going on and that has brought Tesla down has to do with the economy right now and Wall Street is trying to take advantage of that and use it to tank Tesla even more

@@benjiflores2751 Even if the interest rates are to blame for the decline we are seeing in margins and sales - it is a real thing. The interest rate will also continue to be where it is or near to it for likely a good deal of time.
The Mexico factory that was supposed to be built hasn't had the ground touched. Tax credits are being removed in some areas. The model 3 doesn't qualify for the US tax credit due to battery sourcing. Battery goals have all failed to come to fruition. The semi basically appears not to exist. Less than 4,000 cybertrucks have been sold thus far. It appears a new low cost model car will not be coming anytime soon. Over 10% of the workforce was just fired and two top executives including Drew Baglino resigned on the same day - indicating potentially some dysfunction or disagreements at the company.
FSD 12 looks better than 11. But other than that, there isn't much to be bullish about with Tesla. There is plenty to be bearish about. EPS will be down huge.
@@singed8853 but Tesla not having its third or fourth largest gigafactory being built right now isn’t much of a problem if other automakers don’t even have one gigafactory like yeah Tesla looks bad but that not a direct cause of the company and now where comparing how well Tesla says they’ll be to how well they are now without acknowledging or recognizing it’s better than every other company and computer we can argue about it for the sake or arguing but what the point of that if we all know teslas not gonna go bankrupt that would be like apple doing so…so everyone just wants to talk for the sake of speaking and being afraid
Tesla is not a car company any more than AT&T is a phone manufacturing company. If you don’t get that well …
And this means what exactly? Does it change where Tesla earns profit from? Does the label change the numbers on their balance sheet? If not then go call it a donut company if you want - the label means nothing.
perhaps Tesla sees consumers are not going to purchase financed items until interest rates drop, so Tesla will aim for Robotaxis for regaining profitability as the stock price will tank until profitability is attained
I still think Tesla will be very good in the long term, but Anyone still riding this down is a terrible investor.
An investor is someone who is in it for the long term. Anyone in for the long term should be DCA'ing at all prices as it falls because no one knows where the bottom is. If Elon has a surprise Tuesday, it might never get to the 140's again.
Well good luck riding it down then. I got out at 190 because it was clear on the direction it was going. Tuesday earning are going to be ugly.
I could get back in now and have a load more shares then I had when I sold. But it’s not the bottom yet. That’s good investing. Ridding it down is madness
@@Coin9942 I understand selling since everything is unclear now. I have shares bought from $108 up to $260. I would sell my entire position, but since I bought more Friday at $146 it would be a wash sale, so I'm screwed. I have to hold for another 30 days.

why would anyone, that isn't rich, spend $52K on a new car, when you can buy a good used car for $15K and invest the difference? buying new cars makes no sense until you are rich
I agree. There are many, many people who also believe this, but they still want a new car because they can make the payments and they think they've earned it. Some people just don't want a car driven by someone else.
Business owners write off vehicles so you’d be way smarter to buy a new one. Lots of people out there self employed these days. Don’t have to be rich. The year I bought a 48,000 new van saved 5k on taxes.
