And when you make a decision to not show certain parts of a video you have looked at all aspects of what should be filtered out to respect what is right for your business. Keep up the great work. Thank you, good thoughts and prayers for all of your crew.
Ron, your most difficult and technical recovery I have seen of you to date. Perhaps the most difficult and technical between you , Plaza and Pepe. Maybe the semi rollover under the bridge from Pepe is second. Thanks for this and looking forward to the second part. BTW...it's good to see Talon!
I was a traffic officer for 19 years of my total 43 years in law enforcement. I worked a nine mile stretch of US 101 south of San Josê, CA known as blood alley. I had the opportunity to work with many true professionals in the towing industry. I quickly learned to take the whole road and then ask the arriving recovery operator(s). “What do you need.” That always worked for me. Great job Ron.
Mr. Pratt, as a Disabled Veteran with PTSD, and a Veteran of Volunteer Fire Rescue, I thank you for everything you do, including protecting us from certain things. I also want to thank you for continuously educating me
First, thank you so much for your service to this great country. I appreciate your support and so glad you enjoy the channel. Thank you for watching and God bless!
Top 5 video here folks. Time to put a camera on Mr. Mike... See some behind the scenes work. Being an retired owner operator I have seen all this from driving by. One always wondered what it would be like to be on seen. You answer alot of how's and why's and glad I'm not there... Stay safe 🙏
Ron and Crew… Just utterly amazing work conditions y’all have to work with…! Freezing cold, Darkness, Icey Conditions and the safety conditions, where anything can go wrong at a moments notice... You all truly are an Awesome Recovery crew and what you do… ALL OF YOU…! Keep safe and keep up the great work...! Thank You for showing us what you all endure...! Amazing...!
THIS IS AMAZING watching from beginning to end. There's a lot of logistics going on here and it's not just a straight forward towage. It's both educational for the public to see what's involved and the dangers involved especially when dealing with icy road conditions and dealing with a 'triple stack' is unbelievable but can be done!!! Saves time and money for the victims of the crash. Great work Ron Pratt, as always.
I appreciate all of your great work I have work emergency services for several years and I appreciate the fact that you tell everyone to move over and slow down I have done this many of times and I have to admit I love your videos that is why I have subscribed to your video Channel even while driving down the road I have always been good about pulling over and giving plenty of room to all emergency services at accident scenes thank you and God bless all of you
Ron I worked for a towing company for 14 years and repaired vehicles . My former boss’s retired 3 years ago and sold the towing business . We covered all the fatalities in the county and it’s a 24/7 a week business it’s not easy and it makes u appreciate every day .
Good morning Mister Ron and company, you had your hands full on this one, and that wasn't including the ice that you had to deal with, you and the guys did a great job getting the road cleared as quickly and safely as possible with a minimum of fuss and in a timely manner, I can only say prayers for all involved in the other day's mess in your area, and hope everyone is doing good though I heard that there were fatalities, Slow down move over God bless be safe and watch out for motorcyclists, little kids, critters, and little old ladies going to Bingo
As a first responder myself, I can absolutely understand why you did not show the first part of this. Something I learned early in my career was that no one is going to notice if you are 30 seconds late, but they sure will notice if you don’t make it there at all. We get some very thick fog in my area. Sometimes you can’t even see 20-30 feet past your hood. Many times I’ve reduced from code 3 to code 2 just because it’s not safe. Always only go as safely as you can. Thank you again for another quality video.
yeah that ice storm was a hell of a thing, i figured you would have your hands full when that hit. Here in Central Illinois we got freezing rain/sleet, then snow piled on top of it, i stayed home when that type of weather hits. Also HI TALON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some people blaming truckers are the problem of accidents. Few are from speeding. But many are demanded for the load to be delivered. Truckers are stuck in the middle. People have demands but truckers pay the cost. Safe travels 🚛💨💨💨
Ron, we appreciate you giving us another video even after your bad, long day. I've been watching for a long time, and I can't remember when you didn't have a Friday video for us. I know it's difficult, and I wanted you to know it means a lot to us.
Thank you. Yes, it is a lot to do and it's nice to know that people appreciate it. The wife and I were just talking and trying to figure out what's going on. The channel stats are going down and we don't understand why. Please know that you are truly appreciated. God bless.
@@RonPratt Hi Ron, even though it's a shame to hear that your channel stats are going down, there are many features that make your channel stand out. Besides the family friendly content, it's the technical explanations and the complete working process with the driving part and also the communication with police and firefighters. I would keep that as your community appreciates that along with the reliable upload on Fridays. I suspect that with your somewhat old-fashioned 20 second intro you are likely to lose new viewers in particular. The first seconds should be moving images, either with a text that arouses curiosity or cleverly chosen music. Just have a look at other successful channels and decide. In addition, you neglect the community tab and here the smartphone users. There is still some potential here for new viewers, e.g. also with the surveys. Whether a technical upgrade with drone footage will help, I can not assess, perhaps the weather is better suited for this in California. What can't be helped is the growing competition on TV and here on RUclips. What most are not allowed to do are Code 3 orders, that is almost a unique selling point. Please keep doing what works best for you and thanks for your videos. Best regards from Germany
@@RonPratt as just a viewer of maybe 18+ months at most now, I think your subscriber count is certainly much greater than back then which is certainly an accomplishment and while many may subscribe, not all view all videos obviously. I watch every one but sometimes for longer ones, takes a while before I can do so. I wonder if the better weather due to spring plus less COVID restrictions means people have less time for RUclips? Your really good at what you do Ron i operated medium & light duty years ago i miss it but one night was loading a car on rollback and almost got hit by drunk driver the cop at the scene saw it and got her god bless u and your team from Ohio 👍
Stay safe out there Ron, our local company lost a driver due to a driver having a heart attack while driving and hit him while operating. Freak accident, but thank you for the videos!! Also look forward to watching when they come out!!.
My first major crash that I come across as a truck driver was a head on bus and truck, 50 kilometers out on a very remote highway, sadly as a truck driver it was but one of so many I lost count 30 years ago and all multiple death's, when I was a security contractor I was hit by a runaway criminal from the police at 150 kilometers per hour, but then again freezing rain in the early morning is absolutely horrible as most people have no idea what to do. Keep up the truly amazing work Ron, 👍.

Wow Ron!!! What a complex wreck and clean-up. And like always, you and your team were up to the task. I really hope that you will all continue to be safe doing such dangerous work. Much love to you all.
The fact the jack-knife straighten out was not shown is no skin off my nose. We have seen quite a few times Ron showing those who's boss. Recovering the piggybacks however, that's new. Loved how it was handled and the modification to original plan made a ton of sense, given how Ron really tries to avoid making any existing damage worse or generating further damage Half expect him to recover a wreck in better condition than it went in sometimes. Always enjoy seeing a new conundrum for Ron and company to tackle. That's what makes it fun. As for the text comment about the red liquid is not blood, I had to smile and said "No, not blood, just transmission fluid. The blood of a rig is usually gold or black. Y'know... Oil." Prayers go out to those hurt or worse in that wreck and to those who had to witness it that they can move past such unpleasant sights. May your guardian angels always watch out for you and all who use the roadways. Stay safe.

I love how Talon's already got himself a catch phrase, and a 'way' of doing things. Doing good!
Hope everyone involved is ok. I respect Ron's ethics regarding what he includes & excludes from the videos. It was good to see Talon. Stay safe out there!
Prayers, thoughts, and peace to those involved
Hey ronn thanks for Savin lives and I hope you have a good day
I like watching your programs I have driven transport trucks for over 40 years and I know what kind of messes that you guys get into but it's nice to see people that know what they are doing
Great work as always. Viewers will always understand why you choose not to include certain parts, we trust your judgement.
Thank you for sharing your insights and doing what you do. God bless.
You are one of the most popular people in this industry.
Good morning and God bless you and your family. Much love from West Virginia 👍🙏🇺🇸
Wow! Just wow! Another amazing job by the Midwest Truck team !! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Sad ending to these KW work horses. Especially considering today's truck market. Great job.
Much respect to you for respecting families and not using shock value to boost views. You're a special man Mr. Pratt.
Top 5 video here folks.
Time to put a camera on Mr. Mike... See some behind the scenes work.
Being an retired owner operator I have seen all this from driving by. One always wondered what it would be like to be on seen. You answer alot of how's and why's and glad I'm not there... Stay safe 🙏
Pratt runs a hell of an operation there. Cool calm and collective
Ron. You are the best backer-upper.
Amazing...!
Thank you so much for the support and wonderful comments. Thank you for watching and God bless!
We always trust the man of God that is on scene. Always will
I appreciate all of your great work I have work emergency services for several years and I appreciate the fact that you tell everyone to move over and slow down I have done this many of times and I have to admit I love your videos that is why I have subscribed to your video Channel even while driving down the road I have always been good about pulling over and giving plenty of room to all emergency services at accident scenes thank you and God bless all of you
It was nice to see Talon on a recovery. Hope everyone is safe.
It was great to have him out with us again. Thank you for watching and God bless!
@@RonPratt At least he was not sneezing from allergies. :)
Came back to your videos after a long time. I had health and mental fatigue and pain for a long time. Good to see you’re still going
Welcome back. I hope you are feeling much better and more settled. This has been a hard season for so many. Thank you for watching and God bless.
its so good to see Mike and Talon sure have missed them
Ron I worked for a towing company for 14 years and repaired vehicles . My former boss’s retired 3 years ago and sold the towing business . We covered all the fatalities in the county and it’s a 24/7 a week business it’s not easy and it makes u appreciate every day .
Good morning Mister Ron and company, you had your hands full on this one, and that wasn't including the ice that you had to deal with, you and the guys did a great job getting the road cleared as quickly and safely as possible with a minimum of fuss and in a timely manner, I can only say prayers for all involved in the other day's mess in your area, and hope everyone is doing good though I heard that there were fatalities,
Slow down move over
God bless be safe and watch out for motorcyclists, little kids, critters, and little old ladies going to Bingo
God bless.
@@RonPratt Hi Ron,
even though it's a shame to hear that your channel stats are going down, there are many features that make your channel stand out.
BTW, A couple of local tow operators whom I have talked to were both aware of your channel.
💔
My first major crash that I come across as a truck driver was a head on bus and truck, 50 kilometers out on a very remote highway, sadly as a truck driver it was but one of so many I lost count 30 years ago and all multiple death's, when I was a security contractor I was hit by a runaway criminal from the police at 150 kilometers per hour, but then again freezing rain in the early morning is absolutely horrible as most people have no idea what to do. Keep up the truly amazing work Ron, 👍.
Scenes like you describe stick with a person for a lifetime. Thank you for your support. Thank you for watching and God bless.
Ice rink…nothing worse than having to deal with icy roads..stay safe
Nothing worse than dealing with icy roads? Except dealing with them at night! Much better in the daytime.
There's one thing worse: overconfident drivers on said icy roads.
Boy, somebody's insurance adjuster is going to be eating extra Rolaids. . .!!! You weren't kidding about Ice Rink Bridge! Glad to see you're all safe! 👍
You got that right. Maybe something stronger than Rolaids!!!! Thank you for watching and God bless!
I love how Ron tries to grab the yellow hook and it comes down to him automatically dad is there to help
We are privileged to see anything at all. Any viewer that complains if you decide not to show something for whatever reason is just silly.
Thank you so much for the support. Thank you for watching and God bless!
Wow Ron!!! What a complex wreck and clean-up. And like always, you and your team were up to the task. I really hope that you will all continue to be safe doing such dangerous work. Much love to you all.
Thank you so much for the continued support. Thank you for watching and God bless!
Stay safe.
Any day come out with all your fingers and toes is a excellent day especially on a Friday y'all keep up the work you do and be safe
Agreed!!!! Thank you for watching and God bless!
Thank you for sharing what you can.
Always great seeing our team at work.
Thank you for watching and God bless!
Another great video, Drinking my coffee watching Ron and his crew 😀 stay safe and blessed 🙌🙏❤
Ron I hope you and your family along with all your employees stay safe out there. May God bless and keep everyone safe.
Thank you so much for the support and prayers. Thank you for watching and God bless!
Dangerous work out there. Anybody that has watched you a while understands why you didn't show parts of your work that night. Great to see Talon even though it was less than desirable circumstances. Please have him pop in some day when you are at the shop.
It was great to work a recovery with him again. Thank you for watching and God bless!
"Very cautiously" common sense even for an old retired truck driver like myself that doesn't live with or near snow downunder in New Zealand and it does snow badly here !!!
Good on you Ron your an absolute life saver
👍🇺🇸👍
Ron the way you take care of your team and all the people you deal with very respectful be well and safe
Thank you so much. Thank you for watching and God bless!
Wind+Ice+Snow and S***+High speed=S***show and Chaos
I understand why you didn't show the first Semi.
Hope everyone stay safe out in the snow and ice. God bless you all have a safe travel and a safe day.
Agreed on the overkill being underrated. Sometimes it is the only way to get to 10.
I kinda enjoy this raw video of a crash cleanup rather than a heavily edited summarized version
Mr. Pratt I just want to say thank you for having respect for the family members and friends alike for not showing certain accident recoveries. There needs to be folks with the same level of respect. I'm pretty certain you've had folks tell you this before but still Thank you. May God continue to bless and protect you and your beautiful loving family.
Your comments are most appreciated as is the support and prayers. Thank you for watching and God bless!
Ron I want to thank you for posting this video for us to watch. You didn’t have to post any of it but you posted some. Thank u. My thoughts and prayers go out to all involved in the accident and their families. 🙏❤️
Thank you for the support and kind comments. Thank you for watching and God bless!
Wow I just got to watch the whole video. Praying for everyone involved. I can understand why you didn't want to show jackknifed truck. I saw some horrible accidents when going over the road with my husband back in 1999-2000. They weren't to pretty that's for sure. Not something I'll ever forget. God Bless you Ron your family and crew
Thank you for understanding, for the prayers and support for all. Thank you for watching and God bless!
You are my favorite RUclipsr, ive watched you for awhile. My dad was a tow teuck dricwr having his own business for 36 years and when i get older im doing the same thing so its great to watch and learn your ways 👍

ohh... this looks like an absolute mess... I just read about the I-57 crash. understandable if you cant/wont post the other recovery. stay safe and warm out there!
The I57 crash was absolutely horrible. So much tragedy and damage that it was like being in a war zone. My prayers go out to all involved. Thank you for watching and God bless!
We watch your vids in the office. One of the best things about you is that you really teach and guide.
Ron please stay safe out there you and your team God bless 🙌🏽
Still tell you. Your the best ron. Your dad would be so proud. I miss him with you. I love your LONG VIDEOS. Be safe and God Bless you. God bless America 2024❤❤❤
HI TALON!!! Sure was good to see you again. How's that baby doing? Can't wait to see the next part of this. Stay safe out there guys!!
Good morning from Oklahoma.
You guys did a great job considering that weather was freezing out there. That ice did not justice for those guys in those SEMI. I PRAY NO ONE GOT HURT OR INJURED BADLY.
I PRAY YOU AND YOUR EMPLOYEES STAY SAFE AND GET HOME SAFE.
YOU GUYS DONE AN AWESOME JOB CLEARING THAT CRASH. UP.
Well done Ron and team, not nice working in the cold and dark, but that piggy sure broke its back, hopefully no one was injured, God Bless and stay safe, 👍👍🇺🇸🇬🇧🪝🙏.
Thank you for watching and God bless!
Was good to see Talon working the wreckers again!!!! Glad everybody went home safe!! God Bless Ron and folks!!!
love watching you ron!!! i do towing on a much smaller scale but LOVE watching you go to work !
Hello Talon good to see you. Ron God bless you all. Prayers for any one hurt. Big job oh my goodness
Nice to see Talon again! Stay safe out there!
I just hope everyone is alright, yourself included. I imagine that years of doing this, seeing horrible wrecks, and unfortunately, sometimes seeing horrible things happening to good people, it can take a toll on you, it could take a toll on anyone really. I'd imagine this type of job could take a part of you. Sending my best wishes.
