Irony being the only immortality here is your judgmental asshattery and logical inconsistency of likely sipping on a carbonated beverage or coffee, later to crack a beer.
What the hell does morals have to do with this video? Lol this video shows how if your skillful you can take a old vending machine and turn it into art this was for someone that was paying him to make it and in no ways does Wesley try to push there product into you I think you should just piss off and go find Jesus of Nazareth’s woodworking RUclips channel lol
Man, you work with the most interesting companies (adult films, cinemas, weed sellers,...) And then you get to make such cool stuff like that machine. Im really jealous of your job :D
That little shit with the gum never could have imagined it would end up displayed like this, haha. Thanks for the videos as always, your talent is mesmerizing.
Finally got around to watching some videos other than the latest DIY videos and they're very interesting, so much so I've become a patron. Keep up the great work.
Just got my hands on a vinyl cutter today and I had to watch this one again. It would be cool to see your take on a tips and tricks video on using one.
Well fellas, I might suggest a good affordable plotter. U.s.cutter makes a very affordable plotter that works great. It plays very nice with most software. Not so much with Corel but just fine with Adobe products. I’ve been using mine for years now and it has held up great. Also if you are going to buy, buy the largest one you can get your hands on. You can always plot smaller, but are limited by your maximum size. Mine is a 28” and it does most anything I throw at it. Comes with cut software too.
God I know how you feel, getting shocked while peeling off the protective tape. I work for a company that manufactures snowboards. During the finishing process there's a layer or protective tape over the topsheet, but at the last step we peel that tape off. I do, at minimum, 36 boards a day. I get shocked a lot lol.
Wesley, You have an amazing talent, sir. I love watching you work. Tell me about your training for this type of work. Did you just tinker with this kind of thing when you grew up and developed this skill on your own? or do you have a degree in industrial arts? At any case you blow my mind. Thanks for sharing, and I'm looking forward to your next video.
Interesting rebuild video :) Big ups for the flickering lights! I'm a bit inspired for a project I'm neck deep in, as it uses a few metres of strip lighting as well :)
That is gorgeous man and I love that Idea .... come to Patreon for full frontal vintage vending machine with none of the naughty bits blurred out! Rock on!
Personally i think old wendingmachines, jukeboxes or whatever where made for actually being used, just letting them sit in a corner and collect dust is pretty pointless if ask me... It's better to update and fix them up for a prectical purpose as long as they can still be repaired at my opinion.
I find it a bit disturbing when people slay or hardly modify old electronic (i mean replace, not add new parts, i see no harm in adding modern electronic in old stuff as long as the original parts of historical interest are preserved even if the no longer are in use) and putting ugly modern parts inside just for the case and as best a few visible tubes, but this is just an improvement and and update of the actual mecanism i see no wrong in drilling a few hole in the old case in order to make it useful again.
Very nicely done as usual, and the flickering light was a GREAT touch. My only complaint, and it's not in any way a reflection on you, is how screwed up things are getting when an.. exotic herb vending machine is OK but a tobacco vending machine is not.
@@WesleyTreat Thanks for the replay and explanation, that makes a lot more sense. You really do amazing work, I'd love to be able to create like you do, plus you have all those great tools and you know how to use them.
Guess I'm joining your patrion. Lol so sad you can't talk about pot or show a pot leaf without losing monies. Get with the times RUclips. Oh well. At least their algorithm lead me to your channel! Good stuff man. I'll be binge watching projects for a while.. lol
Really appreciate your craftsmanship and find it a shame that your most recent commissions are now for selling "herbs". Oh well sign of the time I suppose.. Smoke a cigarette in CA and just watch the sneers. Pretty f&*#@ed up if you ask me.
I think some adjustment of moral compass is required... unsubscribed...
LOL don't drop your pearls on the way out.
Wesley Treat, Maker of Things.....I didn’t....like my morals they’re still in tact...unlike some eh!

Custos I was thinking the same fing thing this person is probably drinking a cold one as they were typing this ha
The flickering lights were a great addition to the design. Great video Wesley!
Could you please make a tutorial on how to get the flickering effect?
Adding the flickering lights is brilliant... another great project. Thanks for taking us along the journey.
Man, you work with the most interesting companies (adult films, cinemas, weed sellers,...) And then you get to make such cool stuff like that machine. Im really jealous of your job :D
Can you point to the vids with the adult film companies? I’m curious what he could have done for one of those companies, LOL!
That flickering light bit was genius. Really great build overall.
Fantastic job at giving an old machine a new lease of life! Your work is top class and very interesting
I’m always amazed at your ability to make something look like it’s been there for a life time. Amazing work!
Looks fantastic. Love how the light flicker
I love the idea with the magnets for mounting the electronics. something I will definitely adapt!
It's a treat to watch you making things,11 out of ten for this one.
No Pun Intended!! treat....

Great work... came out perfect!! And you do have some great clients!!
Wow this was really nice to watch and the flickering light is just perfect! :)
Wow, another super-cool creation. Thanks for sharing..... Joel

That little shit with the gum never could have imagined it would end up displayed like this, haha. Thanks for the videos as always, your talent is mesmerizing.
That, regardless of what product it contains, is a thing of beauty. Good job! :-)

Simply amazing talent!
Another awesome job man. Keep up the good work.

One quick tip I can give is to get yourself a dental pick. It makes weeding detailed designs easier.
My Gosh... U R Amazing !!!. I so wish i would have met u when u were here in SF.
What a cool old machine. Neat refurb and video!
That came out so good! And now I feel like I need a vinyl cutter.
Any idea what brand cutter that is?
It's a Craftwell eCraft. It works all right, but it has its quirks and they haven't updated the software in a very, very long time.

It's always a pleasure watch your videos
Great job dude..... What a treat!!!...
Beautiful job.

Can you not ground yourself? I keep an antistatic strap and grounding plate for vintage work.

Wow, this is really fantastic.
Wonderfully entertaining video. Love the level of detail to the project. : )
Interesting rebuild video :)

That looks fantastic! 😊😊😊😊
Fantastic build?! For the first time, I'm a milestone liker, #100! Love your work, Wes, get tons of inspiration, keep the vids coming!
That is gorgeous man and I love that Idea .... come to Patreon for full frontal vintage vending machine with none of the naughty bits blurred out! Rock on!
I love the flickering effect. I just knew it was intentional!
So awesome Wesley!!! Well done on every aspect. BTW This video makes me really want to buy a vinyl cutter!
Exceptional work 👍
One word! Super super Nice man!
Most underrated channel of 2018, let no be in 2019 too.
Incredible!
that vinyl cutter sent me back to my modem bbs days or my acorn or spectrum loading a game , god im old
It'd be interesting to see you do a sign for the "buzzing sign diner" from the Simpson's.😂
Whoa man, your vinyl cutter knows my favorite Daft Punk song? Wild

It's just an advertising piece. You can't buy anything from it.
@@WesleyTreat Thanks for the replay and explanation, that makes a lot more sense. You really do amazing work, I'd love to be able to create like you do, plus you have all those great tools and you know how to use them.

Great work! Maybe you've answered this before but what vinyl plotter do you use?
It's a Craftwell eCraft. It works all right, but it has its quirks and they haven't updated the software in a very, very long time.
I wonder what you remake from an old stamp vending machine
Liking the colour
Amazing restoration! Is this going to be going to a dispensary or something? Nowadays you can actually use the thing!
It has to be a company in Mendocino County deep in the heart of the Emerald Crescent of California.
Well done man
Super cool!! ♥️♥️
@6:54 what are the brass thingies? Are they magnets to hold the pieces together?
They're called clecos.
@@WesleyTreat Ah, thanks!
Where do you get your printable vinyl done? Those black on clear look to large to do at the house.
I have a local sign shop print them.
I'm curious to how Wesley was paid? ;) Good work, great attention to detail.
It's a joint machine. The future truly is now.

11:00 I know! I know! It says "CAN...... DYBARS"!
Why the sign is covering it
Clecos? Oh yeah!
I recently cut my knuckle wrestling a soda out of a hospital vending machine. Sadly I'm dead now from the infection.
You should have had the gum sent to 23&Me
If I met the owner of this company I bet weed get along great!
When did Google get a bug up their ass about legal commerce?
Rats, I saw “smoke machine” and thought I was going to see billowing clouds like at a Pink Floyd show!
Don't worry, if it's legal in California it must be safe.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I only smoked one blur and this cow dressed in a suit took over my farm.
CANNABIS.
I think the logos on the waterslide decals are a bit low res.... JK
And we didn't even get to see it working? What? Curious what kind of porn you had to blur there. thanks anyways, looks nice
Maker earth thy self
reminds me of fallout
I hate when I get demonetized for saying weed shop
Nice job Brother! Not sure what the moral compass comment was all about?
we need to stand up to youtube. such bullshit
Be a man and chew that gum!
Great video
Cant afford patrion lol
