Listen... PJ Morton is one of my absolute favorite artists of all time. And then there's Yebba Clark-Burrell. When she's featured on a track, I already know what to expect, yet I'm never prepared for what comes. I always come back to this video at least once a week because this whole arrangement is such a vibe.

I was in the room for that recording.. we were so amazed at how the instruments and vocals. It was too sacred to holler. We were in shock. But the guy next to me did scream and you hear it after she did her infamous run.
Yebba is my baby! I just love her so much! That voice! The phrasing! She sings like she has lived a thousand lives - she has an understanding that just makes you feel seen when she sings.
This is a repeat record. Once I hear it I can't get it outta my head. I only wish it was longer cuz they packed SO MUCH GOODNESS into this song, I can't get enough. Yebba is next level

PJ does some difficult Stevie Wonder-y runs there, intentional and yet risky. Yebba just opens her mouth and sings with the effortlessness of someone who's just talking to a friend.

I just love watching reaction videos ❤, and thank to God I have this video as a recommendation, a few days ago without ever seen this version of ' How Deep is your love', I didn't know JM and Yebba even existed... I'm not a native English speaker, often I watch singing vocalist because it really helps me with my pronunciation, I have always struggled to pronounce the V, cuz in Spanish B and V sounds the same, when this guy explains the way Yebba sing " Vvvvvery soul" he just just Teach me what I was missing 😅😅😅 thanks to his lips movement 😊, how interesting! Thanks! After years of trying to pronounce the V the English Way, I finally get it !!!!

I’m so glad Jaron pointed out the vowel being so forward on that second love because it also highlights that E natural there and makes it sound so much more dramatic. It’s also a variation from the original that just flavors this even more.
