Simultaneously, American Idol deserves to end after the next season knowing that a singer of this caliber was, for all intents and purposes, robbed of the American Idol record deal because of, not only the confidence he has in his musicianship, but also because he knows exactly the artist he wants to be and refuses to let others define his artistic style.
