I’ve been using my zowie ec2a for 5 years now, It never fails to perform but I’m not buying these s series and 3 series just for a better cable and better buttons because the originals are fine. I’m changing mine the day they release their wireless series. I think it’s just a matter of time before they launch it, I think of zowie like Apple, they like to sit back and watch the competitors build their technology and see the flaws in it, and then they come up with a perfect and a flawless model.
honestly if they dropped the weight and went wireless id say they would be top notch. I personally think they could be the top simply because 1. the shape of their mice and 2 they have size options for every model

I have a normal man's hand but with the fingers a little shorter than the average, and most ergo shape mice just too long for me so here the ec3-c could be the right choice, but I 'would still like to have it wireless ... I play on a laptop and the cable can be annoying when traveling...
i'm to a point with mice now where i'm not buying one if it's not wireless. The tech is there, honestly there's no excuse for manufacturers to not be doing wireless mice.
@@PWRMindset Mine lasts almost as long. But shape is most important, and the Xtrfy M42 just fits my hand better for FPS so I keep a wired mouse for specific purposes.
I love Zowie shapes but after using Zowie cloned shapes that are wireless(Model D wireless, Viper ultimate) it’s hard to go back to using a wire. And I’m pretty sure the glorious Odin line is going to include more wireless Zowie cloned shapes.

Been using the EC3-C for a while now, the shape is fantastic. Much more balance than the EC1/EC2. For anybody who is using the Zowie mouse for game FPS like CSGO and bind the mouse wheel for jumping will be familiar with the "scroll bug" that happens during the game, unfortunately it's still there with the new C series, we have to live with that. Jumping back and forth between EC3-C and G Pro Superlight. EC3-C wireless will be the ultimate mouse for me if it ever happens.

I think wireless is overrated unless you play games where you swipe alot, I played with the Logitech Superlight and bought the EC2-C and felt almost no difference the only minor incovenience is rarely the cord gets below the mouse
Nice review!But... i won't update my ec2 for ec2-c only for buttons and a cable (i already have a bungee). What i would pay even 150 for is a ec2 with 24 steps wheel, tensioned as the one's on vaxee, and WIRELESS. Love your content!
I got Viper mini for 26.77 dollars and g pro superlight for 108,08 dollars here in Sweden on black weekend. They usually cost 57.81 dollars respectively 163,92-173,76 dollars. I have hands on the smaller size (17.4x8.6 cm) and the superlight feels fantastic in my hands and the Viper mini as I expected did it too. I bought the white superlight and it's matching my Blue GP4 mousepad, Really happy with the buy 👍
I am thinking about ordering the Zowie mouse fitting kit on their website. Looks like a great way to try out their mice but I am not sure if they are the new version.
@@dslander Neah -10g and the new cable on Zowie mice is a big upgrade for them. Sure you can paracord but most people can't be bothered. I like the new Kailh 8.0 switches and larger skates in XM1r, but the XM1 was already almost perfect.

Sold my S2 after buying a Model o wireless and then a GPX. I dont like the holes or the shape of the Model o wireless and the GPX feels really cheap. I missed my S2 shape and build quality but i like wireless lightweight mice.
I have a viper ultimate and when i switch to wirless mode i feel latency just a bit but i feel it is that because i live in appartement building where there are a lot of wifi's

@@tttt12797 not lying at all. Both sides creaking loudly, scroll wheel wobbles from side to side, mouse1 is very light and mushiest ever whereas mouse2 is pretty stiff. Side buttons are stiff aswell.
Wireless between 60-80g and the FK2 would be back as my main instantly. Not lower than 60g pls, for Valorant and CS too light just isn't really good imo.
they are good mice but at 69.99$ and still using 3360 sensor which is not bad by any means but still, there are more modern sensors like 3389 is a big NONO, they don't excel in anything tbh, not the lightest, not many features, not the better sensor... it's hard to still recommend zowie when you have many better options, some even wireless for close to the same price, and that is coming from someone having used the ec2-a and now having an S1, imo they should make them a bit lighter, include top sensor in the market and include ptfe skates or something to be "worth" that price tag
@@h4tzi35 pretty much. I've particularly grown fond of them. I have a terrible Harvit mouse and it hasn't aged a year but I'm already having problems with it. Thus I've concluded that it's not wise to cheap out even on things like mouse and keyboard . So next on my todo, I'm getting a wireless ROCCAT.
Zowie mice are nice in many ways. However give me wireless or go home. Not too mention I had an FK1 that the clicks went mushy on after a couple of months and they would not replace. At one point they were one of a few great options. Now there is a lot of competition and they have fallen off for me.
Why not make it lighter? Make it is as light as you can as long as its still high quality. Agree on the wireless tho. I main the viper ult but its too wide. If they made a wireless 60gram fk2, I would never use another mouse.

Zowie needs to make my style body. Aka ring finger rest. MM720 from coolermaster is my go to because it has my ring finger rest. I dont have long piano fingers I got wide ass bear paws with short fingers. So i need wide mice that are shorter. And very few brands make mice for dudes like me. Kinda sad really. I also think the hump is too high on zowie mice
I feel with their pricing, they aren't the most competitive. Good mice, but only if your really want them, but if you're looking for any good mouse at that price, you most probably won't go for it. What a shame.

Yep. Thats the reason i dont like wireless mice because they are usually heavier and the weight is in the tail of the mouse.

My da v2 pro has the worst build quality ive ever seen. And i have had like 50+ mice... razer sucks. Zowie and roccat are always solid.
