The last sentence is 100% correct, no one should continue to consider any s2 clones with the c series out, you don’t wanna cheap out on build quality especially when zowie is now also providing solid paracords and lighter weights. I have a s2 myself and it is a tank in terms of build quality, absolutely solid build
@@johnko5 yes of course, but personally I don’t think wireless is much of a big deal. I have gpx and play on pretty Low sens and I still play equally well on s2/Xm1r. S2 shape being the best for me out of all 3. Will be ordering the s2c once it’s available in my region

@@jaykera Most modern sensors are good a 3060 like in the S2-C is more than good enough, you won't be able to tell a difference. Not really a massive deal anymore. Now wireless is very nice, but if you have a good cable and a bungee it's pretty close to a wireless mouse. Also the main reason to get the S2-C is the shape, it is arguably the best for claw grip users.
cannot wait for the za-c honestly 75-65g is perfect weight all round. When i first got the mz1 coming from 85g+ mice i thought it was amazing and it is but once your hand gets used to the light weight and you build more fine control skill, going back to a heavier mouse feels so easy to aim with. Was probably cause i used mz1 on hien and raiden and then went to za on those pads I guess. If i used mz1 on a gsr or something then i dont think i would have increased my skill by much.
That is interesting. Going back to heavier mouse for me makes it harder to aim, takes more effort to micro adjust and flicks feel so slow. Also my brain is like stopping me from flicking too fast because the mouse is too heavy for it to be worth it, lol.

The s2 is definitely more for low/mid sens. I grip it similar to you and I find that the contact with my pinky and ring finger on the mousepad helps alot with first shot accuracy. I play on 1.5 sens@400 dpi. I don't feel like I have as much space to readjust, but I dont have to so often. And honestly, I find few situations in CS, or any ranked shooter, where missing shots or not being quick to the target means you have been sent to the spectator realm. Its a hard toss up between the NP-01 and the S2 for me. Though I have actually been playing with the Prime Wireless (1.2 sens for dpi deviation).
Review on point as always and i totally agree about the micro adjustment being hard on S2 i had the same problem on the ZA13B as well so i gripped both of them too hard when i had to make micro adjustments which wasn't very comfortable but i kinda like the S2 as my flicks are really good on it the ZA just felt clumsy and immobile with that insane hump for me. FK2 is my fav symmetrical but i can't yet tell if i like it more than the NP01S which is my favorite mouse for tracking.
Exact same here. Mice with bigger humps just don't work for me at all and I have always preferred mice like the fk2. Mz1 works wonders for me though, it's like holding a pen
I have the same issue with the XM1R , my flicks are good with it , but it's impossible to microadjust. I think it's because of the extremely wide back hump which limits my range of motion because of the palm contact. That's why I'm waiting for the za13-c to come back into stock here in Europe.
I got the S1-C a few days ago and the mouse1 switch is too tight and occasionally when I click it, it stays clicked in.. Well after new mouse celebration I gotta head back and return it and get another one. It is a very fitting size to me, I switched back from small mice (g203, mm710) since I do have larger hands and had pain from the smaller mice. The S1's size also gives me more confidence in stability and makes me more consistent - not better, but consistent, but the switch makes this copy unusable. Out of 40 mice I have used Zowie ZA13 is the best for micro adjusting. Waiting for that wireless version and when it will come out, I will be disappointed that it is not over 80g. I dont like this new super light weight meta.
What games do you play and what Lightweight mice did you try? If you play those tac shooters I can understand why a 60g or less mouse would feel a bit unstable but even 70g is objectively better than 80g. Once you notice how much faster you can move your hand with lighter mice while keeping the same control it’s so hard to go back to heavy ones

I have tried a few 60g-70g mice. 60g for a few days, 70g for a few weeks or even months (Viper and Viper Ultimate) and it was pretty much the same with every mice - lack of stability. I need to feel that stopping power to be more precise. But it could also be that I am too old now :D 10-15 years ago I used to play DM every day, top fragging every single time on the "best" European CS 1.6 DM servers. Basically the lower I go with the weight, the worse my aim gets. Currently at 87g-90g with either DA V2 Pro, ROG Gladius III wireless or G703. My absolute peak was with DA 3.5G. I think that one was around 140g.
@@tomasiskooo ah ye high sens is the only exception for lightweight to be fair, at 18cm I used to need 85g+ to be precise but after practicing my skills in kovaaks I can use up to 65g with 12cm before it’s too unstable. Also helps having a mudpad. But for tac shooters there’s no need to go lower than 24cm tbh

the clone i tried (the pwnage ultra custom sym) feels nothing like an s2, feels way chunkier and doesnt fit my grip anywhere near.

I prefer Zowie mice with a glossy finish, used to have S2 Black and it didn't feel confident in my hands, now I use FK1+ -B White and I really like it

Your unit has an issue, I'd suggest returning it and getting a new one! Doesn't sound like it's easily fixable without breaking warranty.

In terms of shape, NP01 made the S2 obsolete for me. I like both shapes - NP01 felt like a direct upgrade over S2 though.

ZA13 has a limited amount of space for ring & pinky, so I'd possibly go for the S2-C just out of that info!

They are all fairly different than what you've had before. FK2 is the most similar to the Model O-! My favourites are the FK1/2, the ZA13 and EC2

NP-01s is way smaller, NP-01 and S2 are of similar size, but the asymmetrical features of NP-01 make it feel different.
