You have beat the crap out of that thing and it just keeps coming back for more and more. Hanging with the big bikes and staying right with him for the most part in the rough stuff and in many cases beating the crap out of them. Just makes me more and more happy about my wr250r purchase 2 years ago. Love mine, it's been Rock Solid.

Tom the town called Wycheproof is pronounced Witch-e-proof, home to the smallest mountain in the world. You started the video standing on top of it. Hope you took your oxygen the air can get pretty thin at 56 metres above sea level. Great job, love your work.

Man, with that light weight camping setup and the WR being what it is, you must be killing it in the offroad sections compared to the other bikes. For the road sections, maybe not so much ;-)
Over the years I've had tons of problems with those side-stand switches and it's one of the first things I check when the starter won't go with the bike in gear. Fortunately easy to bypass when needed. On my trail/adventure bike I just took the switch off completely because it would intermittently fail due to dirt/water/whatever. On a tail bike I find the switch too dangerous to use because if you're in a precarious position and the motor shuts off then you could have a really bad day. I admire your lightweight packing skills. Are other people carrying stuff for you? Can you do a video on what you bring on trips like this? Maybe you already have, I should go look.
Why is Googs Track so popular this year? Every RUclipsr and his dog his filmed a crossing this year??? Anyway, that "Bakery on Broadway" at Wycheproof is off the show good!
It reminds me of when someone wanted to put bouncing balls controlled by smartphones in the space station. They had to show NASA all the statistics about the production batch of the phone and had to destroy the radio and any connections to it. Maybe there was something about glass as well.

Hey tom! I'm looking at buying a new 250 adventure tourer, currently tossing up between the WR250R and the CRF250L Rally. Wondering if you could provide any insight as to whether the $2k price difference is worth it? Seeing as the main critique with the crf is that is suspension is soft, i asked the dealer how much upgraded suspension would be and they quoted that installing an ohlins rear shock and front springs would STILL be cheaper than the wr. Would love to hear what you have to think, thanks!
The CRF is a great little bike, great price, great low seat height, great easy to use torquey power. BUTTTTTTT it lacks everywhere else compared to the WR, the WR has much better suspension, much better brakes, much more power when revved out, also the WR is much lighter. If you can’t afford the WR or can reach the ground on it then get the CRF, otherwise get the WR
that thing with the gears happened to me...it was a bitch and me not knowing much😂 i didnt know how to fix it...it was something to do with the starter clutch..if thats what ya call it

Yeap WR is the best, just as good as the bigger bikes on the road aswell. Little WR sits on 110kph just fine, can do 150kph no probs if needed

First thing i did when i got my DRZ was disable the clutch safety cutoff and stand cutoff. Just extra shit to go wrong that has no purpose.
Yeah it’s nice having it disabled to lube the chain, I can spin the wheel with it leaned on the stand now :)
