Top stuff young Tom, good too see how many K's you got out of the Safari tank. You are a bad influence.....I will be putting a deposit down on a WR250R in the next few days.....
81,000km!!!! Are you serious? That would have to be the highest milage WR250 in existence I have a 2001 YZ250F (more or less the same engine), owned it since new, it would have 4000k's on it at a guess, and i'd say i've over estimated. How on earth does someone get 81,000km on WR250F ? The valves would be toast
No, there are higher out there. You can see them on advrider, over 100,000km. There are heaps of guys a bit lower than me, 50 to 60,000km. I can go take a photo of the odo now if you like ;-)
I’m not relying on them for fuel, I had 2x 10L fuel bladders. I just didn’t fill them up cause Nerb said it was only 280km to next fuel but it turned out to be 350km so I ran out.
I had 2 Magura slave cylinders fail on my new 690. Swapped to an Oberon and had no more issues. I put 13,000 miles on that bike with no other mechanical problems.
Tom, I first saw the Quadlock phone mount on one of your videos and went out and got one right away. So far it has killed the cameras focus mechanism on two IPhone's within three weeks and I'm not willing to risk a third. A ride I went on recently had two guys with Quadlocks and both their phones had the focus broken too. It looks like you've got an iPhone X, hows the focus holding up on yours?
Thanks for sharing the trip. Nerb pointed out the leak, so it was loosing fluid and sucking in air. And I think shadower 75 pointed this out previously in another video. Time for a replacement clutch line. ruclips.net/video/pWIDyPZhJsE/видео.html Outside of that, thanks for sharing the team ride ! from CT (for now) U.S.A.
42 psi is very high. Not sure on your tyres but I only max the 690 at 32 psi. I dont know why you risk crashing and punctures with such high pressures?
My WR250R is on 81,000km, no rebuilds. I've done similar rides, been in every state of Australia on it. It has never failed me, such a dependable little bike.
I have a question can you do long distances with the YZF-125 beacuse i want to buy it and come from high school and the high school is 217 miles away and you know A1
42 PSI?! Holy shit I don't even run that much on radial street tires let alone in tubes! The most I have ever seen in a tube is 35 PSI on huge heavy bikes. On my 250 I generally run in the mid-20's for the street, 15 offroad, and 6-8 on ice and snow. 42 is crazy! But I guess if it works... What's the reasoning? Noticed any problems?
"Could save up and buy this house if I stopped eating avocado toast"😂
The bush surgery was intense!! :O
Too advance for me!
Where you gone mate
Top stuff young Tom, good too see how many K's you got out of the Safari tank. You are a bad influence.....I will be putting a deposit down on a WR250R in the next few days.....
Yes! WR250R is the best!
Tatataatatata TOM
Man that little 250 has done some k's now
What a testament to the high revving Yamaha engine
I have the same bike, 81,000km with no rebuilds
Keh?
I mean I have same engine as Tom does, I ride a WR250R, and mine has 81,000km on the clock without any rebuilds
81,000km!!!! Are you serious?

so it's minimalistic we camping, but you need nerbs tools and gasoline xD
Damn, his secret to 'ultra lightweight camping' is out! Haha
I never used nerbs tools, I have my own. Plus I only ran out of fuel cause nerb said it was like 250km to next fuel and it turned out to be 350km.
I think we hit a sore spot
Might have gotten there with a lower wheelie limit.. but who are we kidding.
So lucky to have mates with mechanical knowledge in the desert. Priceless !
Ignoring his banter, tom can still do most things when it comes to the crunch. Just never on video ;)
I'm sure he does :) What other tools did u guys pack for the trip ?
Not many to be honest. Im not a believer of packing for the apocalypse. Its in this vid I think ruclips.net/video/O9zJ-lFA5XU/видео.html
Ultra lightweight setup Tom!
But you're relying on others for backup eg fuel and tools
I’m not relying on them for fuel, I had 2x 10L fuel bladders. I just didn’t fill them up cause Nerb said it was only 280km to next fuel but it turned out to be 350km so I ran out.

As a KTM x2 owner at the moment, I love giving them some hell as well....but didn't the WR "break" in episode 1....?

“I reckon that’ll buff out” haha 😂
We could rebuild my bike, but its a Yamaha, so I don't have to! Haha love it
"Just need to hit a kangaroo" 😂
I noticed that Craig and Nerb have cameras too? Do they have RUclips channels as well?
Nerb1 and Shadower75 are the channels
watching the same intro 10 times part 2
if only there was a way to skip ahead
Love the adventure videos

Can you do the cunning stock please
Do you only ride with the 31hp?
42 psi is very high. Not sure on your tyres but I only max the 690 at 32 psi. I dont know why you risk crashing and punctures with such high pressures?
Its only to reduce wear on the asphalt legs.
Gotta save them knobbies for the tough stuff
How many kilometers does the little wr have? Reliable yamaha!
Over 30,000km now
My WR250R is on 81,000km, no rebuilds. I've done similar rides, been in every state of Australia on it. It has never failed me, such a dependable little bike.
Do you ever bring anything else to eat? It is always stroganoff.
Of course, typical ktm
