    Omg I love this idea!! I have a bunch of pigment powders but they're all shimmery... now I can bust out my colored acrylic (that I don't use)!! Thanks for the great tip!

    Hi lovely, such a good video thank you!! What do you put on the nail before the white gel? A do you buff it or top coat it to stop the powder sticking to that base colour?
    Thanks x

    • @riynails
      @riynails  Год назад +1

      Hi, it’s a base of acrylic. Yes the acrylic is buffed beforehand, so any residue from the coloured powders can be brushed away. Thank you for watching 💗💗

    Hi I love love the neon pigment designs but I am useless at freehand, can you recommend a product I can stamp with that has an sticky inhibition layer so I can do this 🤞🏻🙏🏻

    • @riynails
      @riynails  2 года назад +1

      Hi, thank you!! Yes you could use stamping gel polish, following the same steps in my video but swapping the freehand art for stamping instead. I’ve seen some on Amazon by KADS or Born Pretty which look good. Thanks for watching 💗

    • @carolinecameron5710
      @carolinecameron5710 2 года назад +1

      @@riynails thanks very much for reply. I already have the born pretty stamping gels, they are great for chrome mirror and holographic powders as they cure with like a no wipe top coat finish but useless for neon pigment powders. Late yesterday I seen a video and lady used cnd shellac in cream puff for neon, so I have ordered, so we'll see. Thank you so much 🙂

    • @riynails
      @riynails  2 года назад +1

      Ohh no☹️ I’ve not yet tried this method with the stamping gel, so I see what you mean. Fingers crossed the cnd gel works better for you🤞🏼thank you💗

    After applying the gel,do you cure first or do it when wet?

    • @riynails

      Cure the white gel first, then tap the powders into the tacky layer left behind from the cured gel 💗

    • @riynails

      Hi yes any acrylic powder, they can be used as pigments too. Brighter and darker colours work better than lighter colours 💗

    • @riynails
      @riynails  Год назад

      Hi, yes cure white gel first. Then tap the powders into the tacky layer once the gel is finished curing in the lamp. Thank you for watching 💗💗

  • @try2be.heavenleigh
    @try2be.heavenleigh 2 года назад +1

    Wait so the nail polish is a basic nail polish and then the white polish is gel ? If you cure it, wouldn’t it dry up… I’m so confused as to how it sticks ?

    • @riynails
      @riynails  2 года назад

      It’s gel polish, the pigment in the acrylic powder sticks to the tacky layer of the gel once cured 💗
