I'm just happy Kanye changes his sound with every release. every album has its own identity from the sonics, album cover, performances, releases, the way this dude dresses, and the way he acts.
bruh, I wanted you to know what he's releasing now, I don't even have an opinion on it, but unfortunately you'll still have to wait seven years to check out this album
bruh I was so dissapointed when I found out that wasnt future. I was like "wow... a song that future actually sounds good over" then I saw desiigner and all hope was lost again for that nigga
I hope people realize that Kanye will not drop music like his old music, thats not Kanyes style when he makes music he makes it and masters its style then moves onto another one why you think all his albums sound different.
Hey Quint, i know you probably wont bother reading this considering how busy you might be (don't blame you fam), but i'd like to say, on behalf of all your fans, thank you so much for entertaining us with these videos. They are hilarious, refreshing and just fun to watch! I love your videos (this one was epic) and I wish you attain every bit of success you strive to achieve fam! Thanks again :) And this album was very well put. Most College Dropout/LR fans wont fuck with this, but if you want music to just enjoy, which isn't necessarily thought provoking, listen to TLOP.
I'm a fan of both of those albums and I love this album! But yeah Quint, thank you, sir for keeping us up in good spirits and if you're anything like me through bad days, it feels good to know you mean something! Keep it up and stay yourself!
it still upsets me how poorly promoted this album was, just a freaking mess. everyone thinks the album is garbage cause he pretty much only promoted the weakest tracks, when saint pablo, real friends and no more parties are definitely some of the best songs he has ever made, kanye at his prime 2020 Edit: I just realised Kanye fucked it up again two years ago when he barely promoted Kids See Ghosts, by far his best project since MBDTF. The album only has 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify which should be qualified as a crime
Are you kidding? This album probably had one of the greatest releases of ALL TIME if you piece the puzzle together. Most of the references on TLOP are direct rebuttals to every single bullshit major news headline that Kanye was apart of during the previous year, which in short also built the general hype around the release (made him currently relevant again to the general public). Kanye & Taylor's feud in Famous, his comeback to Ray J's "diss track" in Highlights, a detailed insight into his life with Kim K in Freestyle 4 & No More Parties In L.A., his lash out to critics in Feedback, his incredibly meta and self-aware track I Love Kanye as well as his general I-don't-give-a-fuck attitude which is more present in this album than ever (seriously, just listen to the confidence of his lyrics in Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1). On top of that, this album featured Chance The Rapper in the very first track who teased his album Coloring Book which went on to win the Grammy for Best Rap Album of that year (just like he said he would in the song), created motherfucking Panda by Desiigner which landed NUMBER ONE on the Billboard charts of that year, SIGNIFIED THE RETURN OF FRANK OCEAN OUT OF NOWHERE :') who ended up dropping Endless and Blonde that year and had almost just about every major hip-hop/RnB artist of that year featured on it as well. This album was also Kanye's masterpiece musically, combining sounds from every single release he had ever created up until that point to create a magnum opus of sorts, even Yeezus (and his old-school style of rapping in No More Parties is dope as fucking hell). It was also the first major album ever released to be continually fine-tuned / edited as he saw fit after the fact and the first album ever to reach No. 1 strictly through streams and without a physical copy of the album ever even having been released, making history. So trust me dude, that "freaking mess" was quite intentionally done. Kanye West dominated 2016 by releasing it so sporadically. This is one of the greatest hip-hop albums ever created imo.
Missing the cohesiveness of all those other albums though. Just seems a bit sloppy to me and not as well polished as something such as College Dropout or Graduation but then again Kanye said this isn't the final version and that he's making some adjustments so lets wait and see the final version.
+I Isaiah If you play the album in the three act order he posted before changing it one last time, the theme and cohesiveness actually all come together beautifully
I have to say, as a music reviewer who spends hours listening and re-listening to the same album, analyzing lyrics, critiquing instrumentation, etc., it's so refreshing to see someone like Big Quint review an album purely based on how much he simply enjoyed it.
***** Yeah, more or less, but a lot of times, just because an album bumps, that doesn't always make it a good album. Some albums may have good beats, which are fun to listen to in the car, at the club, parties, etc., but could have shit lyrics, or just be a jumbled mess of an album. When it comes to albums, all different kinds of people listen to them for a host of different reasons. With me personally, I check for how much I enjoy it (with a lot of albums, I enjoy them a lot), as well as analyze what the album is saying in terms of lyrical content, how well the project flows as a complete work, and how I felt about it by the end of the album. I love tons of albums that a lot of people can't stand, much of it stemming from how much I simply enjoyed the music.
Congrats Quint so far you have the BEST reaction/review of TLOP needledrop failed horribly so now it's just up to DEHH to come through, so far you're the king lol. The most relatable for me.
I have faith in dead end hip hop though! but I have a feeling Kinge is gonna hate this lol, because he hated 808's & heartbreak and this project has sprinkles of all Kanye albums in one.
+MegaKhalid121 Word i already know that Kinge is gonna hate this because he hated 808's & heartbreak and TLOP has elements of every Ye album all in one lol. I'm expecting Feefo to bump this in the whip tho!
Okay i didnt like TLOP at the start and im a huge kanye fan, then a couple weeks later i started to like it a bit more but didnt have much replay value for me, but now i see how fucking amazing this is, automatic classic
This album just keeps growing on me. I've listened to the album like 8 times already and every time I discover something new. This isn't on College Dropout level but it's not bad at all.
+Moatm HD how if thats his real voice you guys make no sense and everyone keeps saying hes a ripoff when future didnt even start that shit desiigner been sounding like this
I just realized, most of Kanye's discography has been considered classic. CD, LR, Graduation, MBDTF, and 808s have all been considered classic albums. I've even heard some say Yeezus is classic, and they gave pretty decent arguments.
My brother in Christ, Kanye’s run from College dropout to the life of Pablo are all classics. Even the the watch the Thorne just cause how it influenced so many other artists to drop collab albums. He’s really him. U could also argue kids see ghosts is another classic.
Mark Morales that was not the point, its cause I watched every single one of his reviews in his top 10. a lot of them he really seemed to enjoy but blond, for example, he was hating it throughout the entire reaction, then claimed to love it, it just doesnt add up. im not saying this should be the number one album of the year, but its the most excited reaction in this entire channel, thats gotta be worth something
P.S. I love your review SOOO much more than Fantano's because Fantano has such a biased view on this. FADE was one of my favourite songs in this, and I LOVED it!!! Great way to end album.
+Khusuke Fantano just fakes confusion and dismisses anything if he doesn't like it. Even if it's a hot track he'll just dismiss it as egotistical (which you can do with any rap) and just feign confusion and attribute any appeal to fanboyism. Honestly dude just isn't that familiar with rap even though he pretends to be.
Saw him in live last night in Miami...words cannot describe how amazing it was. The floating stage is something I'll never forget...he's a genius. All Hail Saint Pablo.
This is the album of the year. Not just rap/hip-hop, but of all albums... It's soooooo fucking perfect! It's like MBDTF 2.0. It's also one of his most complete albums... and thats saying something because Kanye hasn't ever released a bad album. People need to stop the hate and give his music a listen instead of hating him for the way the media portrays him. He's human he makes mistakes... but one thing he doesn't make mistakes on is his music. TLOP: 10/10
Pablo came out the same time my apartment and many of the belongings in it unexpectedly caught on fire and I had to evacuate. Your reaction to this album helped me get through a very tough time in my life. I came back to this reaction video after 5+ years and even though it triggers some bad memories, your reaction, spirit and positive energy still fill me with hope and optimism to this day. I owe you a lot BigQuint so thank you so much for this. We love you brother.
+Chef Baxter "Foot on the Devil's neck 'til it drifted Pangaea I'm moving all my family from Chatham to Zambia" I knew he was going to SLAUGHTER that shit after that..
When I'm feeling sad or depressed....I come to this video. You bring 20 min of placebo happiness that keeps me going for hours. Just...Thank you, my Boi Quint.
This is why we love Quint - unlike Fantano, he speaks for the people! Way more interested how the tracks make you feel, rather than pointless intricacies. Keep going strong bro!
+Reynolds - The difference is Antwan Fantwan reviews it, which is a very in depth scrutinization of an album. The point is to pick out the intricacies.
This is what reaction channels should be like. Quint doesn't play the entire songs therefore its not copyright. He gives actual reactions, doesn't just sit there and nod his head. He also gives us commentary and critique. He dances. He is fucking hilarious. To all those defending shitty reaction channels, look to Bigquint as a motherfucking example. He is entertaining to watch, and he doesn't rely on the content of whatever he is reacting to to be the main subject of the video.
+HEAVEN it means loss as in I'm a loser for what I said apparently. It's a social phenomenon nowadays especially after meek mills incidents with drake. Nonetheless a sheep conforming to society and seeking approval while doing so. Nothing but a punk...
idk man i have knowledge about music like music theory and stuff but i still rather watch these reaction man, i don't need no one to breakdown a song for me to understand or know their feeling about it, i want someone like being blowup just like me whenever i heard something classic like this album, this is great, keep it up
Hell of a shout with 808s & Heartbreak 2. Sadly it ain't ever gonna happen. Every 'Ye fan knows he don't make the same album twice. Fuck, I'd love it if it happened though. 808s is by far my favourite Kanye album, don't get me wrong it isn't his best. CD, LR and MBDTF are all tied for that top spot. I've just always felt 808s on a real spiritual level. That shit got me through a lot of hard, suicidal times.
Tejinder Singh Exactly man, all you need is an open mind going into it and a decent pair of earphones and you'll have a hell of an experience. Most people just shudder it off because the popular opinion is that 808s is trash. Personally I feel graduation is his worst album, it's got some classics but I feel even Yeezus is a better project. Grad is far too mainstream and commercialised.
De La Subnated I just recently been through the lowest point in my life, but 808s helped me get through it. I used to think it wasn't kanye best, but now I think it's tied with registration for me
After 10 years everyone is going to understand that this album is a classic.

BIGQUINT need to make a Zumba class with this shit lmao
Rs😂😂😂
LOL
I'm dead.
indeed
😂😂on moms I would join that joint so quick.
The 'I FUCK WIT THIS' at the end of Fade is the most powerful thing of all time
can someone explain to me how this isnt on his top 10 albuns? dude straight up lost his shit during the entire reaction, he's just so happy
Victor ABP there was so much better music dropped during the year.
Mark Morales that was not the point, its cause I watched every single one of his reviews in his top 10. a lot of them he really seemed to enjoy but blond, for example, he was hating it throughout the entire reaction, then claimed to love it, it just doesnt add up. im not saying this should be the number one album of the year, but its the most excited reaction in this entire channel, thats gotta be worth something
everyone hated blonde at first
Victor Bastos i hated blonde on first listen. its now in my top 5 albums all time.
tuuly The truest shit. I've never had such a change of opinion on an album in my life lol
R.I.P. BigQuint's downstairs neighbors.
didn't he lives in a house? I alway thought this hahaha
P.S. I love your review SOOO much more than Fantano's because Fantano has such a biased view on this. FADE was one of my favourite songs in this, and I LOVED it!!! Great way to end album.
+Khusuke I would LOVE 808s & Heartbreaks 2!!!!
Quint reacts to the music.
Fantano reviews the music.
Theres a big difference my man
hedidit55 I meant at the end after Quint's reaction.
+Khusuke mate. fantano is white, wtf do u expect
The reaction to Father Stretch My Hands was probably everyone's reaction when they heard it the first time lol.
Saw him in live last night in Miami...words cannot describe how amazing it was. The floating stage is something I'll never forget...he's a genius. All Hail Saint Pablo.
His reaction to FSMH1 provides me with so much joy.
needed this after theneedledrop's review
no...i'm his fan, but this album is boring mess..
+Neviem Už this is some of his best work imo
+Hayden Ross iyo 😁
+Neviem Už you weird bruh
Literally Bro😂😂
Desiingner was a great sign for Kanye bro. he gonna make some good records in the future
I See what you did there 😂
lol
yup
+TheNeopolitanIceCream fuckin love Neo, Hated this album.
Lol😂😂😂
lmao 💀
I love big quint's face when he hears the weeknd on that track
4 years and now it’s back in 2020
To me this album was as if Graduation and Yeezus fucked and had a baby and then spawned TLOP.
Lol that's actually pretty accurate
To me it seemed like an orgy of all the albums. Like a victory lap of all that is Kanye
+Austin Jensen Precisely
+LORD FLACKO Graduation??? This album was ok BUT GRADUATION...HOW SWAY!?
+AgentDouble0Nipples This album had a bit of all Kanye albums including 808's & heartbreak & Yeezus aswell.
YOU AIN'T GOT THE ANSWERS QUINT!!!!!!! YOU AIN'T GOT THE ANSWERS!!!!!!
I just realized i'd rather listen to kanye x weeknd collab rather than kanye x drake
Аскар Бекишев W
Аскар Бекишев what can change in a year
Kanye and Kendrick was fire too
This is the album of the year. TLOP: 10/10
agreed.
W
This is a mediocre album he didn't give us his full potential like on late registration or MBDTF I would give a 7/10
+Brandon Williams L
Take this L this isn't even Kanyes best work it's good but I'm being generous when I give him a 8.5 only because of ultralight beam
This video was the peak of this youtube channel
19:10 Quint's dance moves aren't too far off from the actual video lol
9/10 album. very enjoyable from start to finish. fun listen and thats what matters. great production too
V. Aspen that was one bar in one song calm down

Potential album of the year 🔥🔥🔥🔥big resurrection from yeezus 😭😭😭😂

+juan galaviz very polarizing tho
+juan galaviz it isn't bad at all
+juan galaviz I actually enjoyed it

Swear I watch this over and over only for father stretch my hands pt.1 and 2
Quinton Ardoin Same.
Lmao your face on the Metro tag was priceless
When you heard "if young metro don't trust you I'm gon shoot you" you knew quint was about to lose his shit
yes's af when I heard it I was like ahhhhhhhhhhhhh
Esp the transition into Cudi's hook
What time in the vid???
When Quint says “What??” while dancing throughout all of Father Stretch My Hands pt. 1 it’s a legit mirror of me the first time I heard it
That's the same reaction I had to most of TLOP LOL. Subbed.
BRUH "You handed north the computer? Hey north baby hey baby do you wanna make daddy's cover art?" IM DEAAAAAD
The weeknd's high note in FML gave me chills all up spine😳😳
Idk what it is but I can't stop playing this album. If I play one song I gotta play others
Waves easily the most underrated song of 2016
When I'm feeling sad or depressed....I come to this video. You bring 20 min of placebo happiness that keeps me going for hours. Just...Thank you, my Boi Quint.
I like this dude. Subscribed immediately
Watching this in 2021 helps me remember this aged better then any of Drake's projects
this album is a masterpiece
Fax 🔥
I love coming back to this video because its almost like experiencing this album all over again for the first time
Only devil worshippers would dislike Ultra Light Beam. It is song of the century, facts
#Facts
I was expecting an illuminati comment saying "only devil worshippers like ultra light beam"
Chance's verse on that was really good
+obi_the_president As someone who isn't religious I fucking love that song.
that's a funny joke. it's an ok song. chance is great on it but it's not that special
Came here from some egg dude. I got to say, love big quint a lot more. And the egg just sounds like he really doesn't like Kanye.
Needle drop or whatever? 😂😂😂
yup. lol
Egg dude😂
+Alexander Ulv 😂😂😂
The egg gave MBDTF a 6 lololol. Pathetic.
This is why we love Quint - unlike Fantano, he speaks for the people! Way more interested how the tracks make you feel, rather than pointless intricacies. Keep going strong bro!
Nice.
+Reynolds - The difference is Antwan Fantwan reviews it, which is a very in depth scrutinization of an album. The point is to pick out the intricacies.
This nigga literally just jumps around and snaps his fingers
Yeah, the whole point of the project, was to make it a gospel album. it's about feeling the music. understanding the culture with the feats
Yeah, the whole point of the project, was to make it a gospel album. it's about feeling the music. understanding the culture with the feats
So glad to have this video back. I think about this every time The Weeknd comes in on FML. 🔥
FML is my favorite song on the album
This is what reaction channels should be like. Quint doesn't play the entire songs therefore its not copyright. He gives actual reactions, doesn't just sit there and nod his head. He also gives us commentary and critique. He dances. He is fucking hilarious. To all those defending shitty reaction channels, look to Bigquint as a motherfucking example. He is entertaining to watch, and he doesn't rely on the content of whatever he is reacting to to be the main subject of the video.
i prefer quints version of dancing to fade than teyana taylors..... factssss
I’m so emotional watching this. It’s like listening to TLOP for the first time
Top five songs from TLOP;
1. Father stretch My hands pt. 1&2
2. Waves
3. FML
4. Ultra Lightbeams
5. Fade
imo ultralight beam is the best track on that bitch
Freestyle 4
No more parties in LA?
Wolves?
boy you better just do a top 18 because its all crazy good
What a coincidence I was just listening to TLOP and stopped to see quint react to TLOP...inception shit
+Hugo I. #thelifeofpabloception
lmao me too
+DihStyle69 L
+Red Of J what's the real meaning behind L?
+HEAVEN it means loss as in I'm a loser for what I said apparently. It's a social phenomenon nowadays especially after meek mills incidents with drake. Nonetheless a sheep conforming to society and seeking approval while doing so. Nothing but a punk...
Funny thing is this isn't the final version.
+sincerelyjuss i knoww haha, he still working on it apparently
+Jonathan Loynaz when its definitly released?
It sound good already, he's trippin. HE HAS TO RELEASE THE FUCKIN ALBUM
+Pedro Moreira he's never releasing it on iTunes if that's what you're waiting for
Profound Sound i'm waiting on Spotify
Ultra light beam is like one of my favorite songs 🔥 tbh
Damn it quint a nigga got school

Feedback is a track that could've been on Yeezus
that's what I thought
+Joshua DeLeon so should freestyle 4
idk man i have knowledge about music like music theory and stuff but i still rather watch these reaction man, i don't need no one to breakdown a song for me to understand or know their feeling about it, i want someone like being blowup just like me whenever i heard something classic like this album, this is great, keep it up
1 year later and I still come back a least once a week
" he wanna drop it on a day where i should be BAAALLLS DEEEEP!!!!!" 😂😂😂😂💀💀💀💀💀
Hell of a shout with 808s & Heartbreak 2. Sadly it ain't ever gonna happen. Every 'Ye fan knows he don't make the same album twice. Fuck, I'd love it if it happened though. 808s is by far my favourite Kanye album, don't get me wrong it isn't his best. CD, LR and MBDTF are all tied for that top spot. I've just always felt 808s on a real spiritual level. That shit got me through a lot of hard, suicidal times.
808s is in my opinion the greatest Kanye album because it feels so raw and real!
That was actually my first Kanye West album i bought because i love the album
De La Subnated I just recently been through the lowest point in my life, but 808s helped me get through it. I used to think it wasn't kanye best, but now I think it's tied with registration for me
5:56 Didn't we all?
thats my favorite part of this vid
