My 2016 8 speed 5.7 Hemi Ram Crew Longhorn is making 560 WHP on 93 premium with a stock rotating assembly and the small TorqStorm. Other mods are Stainless Works long tube headers with catted mids and quiet mufflers along with a mild comp cam. It made 368 with those mods and a HemiFever tune which is about average. I built a 440 Cu In all forged short block 2 years ago to go in my truck whenever the stock motor decides to die, but I'm still waiting for 21 months now. Truck has 125,000 on it now on this original engine and tranny. It is a beast!
I really want to install one of these on my dad's truck. I bought it back from him recently - 2000 Sierra RCSB, LQ4, heads, XR275 cam, ported TBSS intake, LT's, dual 2.5" exhaust, 4L80E, 3200 stall, etc. It runs pretty good as is, but I was thinking 6-7 psi on pump 93 would put me where I want to be for a fun street truck. (Basically want to make a repeatable/reliable 500 RWHP - 500 RWTQ on 93)
Whats you're opinion on the twin torqstorm supercharger setup on a 03 silverado 5.3l, i want to upgrade the stock engine and a good built trans, definitely want to bring the truck to you

@@ThunderMonarch yes we did use all of the factory internal stuff. We’ve done quite a few and still haven’t had an issue. we used 87# injectors from fuel injector development

Depends on the stall converter used. They weren’t too picky at that point. It’s not a max effort situation. So any truck cam or cathedral n/a cam that isn’t radically large.

I have a fresh built 408 was gone go nitrous roughly 625 on motor hw much power u think with charger on 93 e85 slim where I’m from least 30 miles from me
Your response is better lol 200rwhp for 15-20 hours install with fuel pump And a torque curve to match from a $3,500 supercharger. Find a faster/cheaper 200rwhp and torque on a bone stock 5.3 😂
@@robertmontalvo597 our Dyno these 4wd silverados in 3rd gear keeping the driveshaft/trans speed to 100mph so they don’t break. They very commonly do 220-230rwhp lol This one had headers and factory muffler still. That’s a huge gain. Those blowers commonly add 125-150rwhp but we had the little pulley on it.

It was actually a very fun truck but trying to go from like 70 it was gutless cuz of the gearing but it made just enough power to have fun with and spank the other silverados around at the time
Looks like a fun truck and perfect power for what it is used for. Love the sound of the blower! Eventually I would love to add boost to my SS.

My stock 08 Silverado 5.3 with headers, 3" true duals with torque storm only made 350hp. Cam swap dod delete some head port. Got me 550..

That's crazy they are that low. My truck with cam up and tune with stock manifolds put down 320 hp 340 tq. At the wheels didn't get a stock dyno

What fuel pump didnyou use
We put a 470lph in the oem hanger. He planned to do ethanol fuel soon.

How would a torque storm or procharger centri blower be compared to a lsa or roots blower for off-road?
Way less torque earlier in the powerband.
Would need to be spin 6-7000 rpm

No sir. The stock fuel system would not work.
We put a 470lph pump, bigger injectors in it.

This 76mm charger would be too small. The torquestorm 84mm would be ideal. Probably 150-200 hp gain

I don't think people understand that bone stock LS truck motors make 250ish WHP stock. And with a cam most 4.8 and 5.3 won't even break 300 whp
