I feel the point of Margaret is meant to be a foil to Henry well margaret is meant to show to get what ever she wants and fails to see the faults of her actions well Henry parents have to be Hard on their son due to getting into hot water 24/7 Showing Margaret as a warning to what Henry could become if he was never punished for his actions

Underrated opinion: Ms. Lovely is the best adult to Henry in the show. She never calls him horrid and helps him when she sees he’s had a rough day in Horrid Henry’s Lucky Thing. She’s probably also the reason Peter performs so much better than his brother in school because she helps her students something Ms. Battle Axe and Henry’s parents never do

My guess is that Margaret's parents spoil her rotten thinking that it will somehow make up for their constant absence in her life. I think this is especially the case with her father since he always seems to be away on business trips. This of course only explains her actions and doesn't excuse them.

0:01 I think it's funny how despite her "hatred of henry", it's brought up a few times that she has a secret crush on him. You can see this when Peter sends a fake loveletter to her claiming to be henry and being visibly upset when susan also got one. On top of this, Im sure that in season 5, she actually talks about becoming his girlfriend in that one episode about love.

Another example of Horrid Henry’s parents playing favorites is when they do whatever Margaret tells them to do. They always discipline Henry and boss Henry around, but they allow Margaret to boss them around and treat them like slaves. Good thing she isn’t their daughter.
Moody Margaret, Perfect Peter, Silly Simon, Mrs. Battleaxe, and Henry's mom are prime examples of people who never experience a punch in the face.

This isn't the worst episode of her. Her parents are raising her to be a sociopath.
I honestly feel like Margaret's parents are just as bad as Henry's parents like yeah Margaret ain't all that innocent either but I know she didn't come out of the whom like that and I'm not saying they don't love their daughter but their love for her is unhealthy and they unknowingly setting their daughter up failure.
@jessicadriver1636 I couldn't agree more. One comparison I've heard is that Margaret's manipulation is very similar to Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The two tug at their parents' heartstrings to get what they want, and they believe this will work on everyone. The difference is Vercua had to be shown how "trash" she really is.
@randontimberwolf4007 I feel the writers could've gave Margaret a better ark in the show and if the show went on for much longer, yes she's an antagonist but she's also kid which means there are plenty of open opportunities for her to change, like have her actually learn a lesson from her actions or at the very least have her take more massive L's, like come on that's supposed to be the whole fun with bratty antagonists like her, we either get satisfaction from them changing their ways or we get satisfaction from them getting punished for their bad behavior.

In the Phantom Phone episode, Henry borrows Rude Ralph's cellphone to play a game on there, yet Moody Margaret (seeing the cellphone) wanted to have Henry added to her phone contacts, even though he would never consider it.

How come Henry gets punished all the time but not Margaret? I know she has gotten punished a couple of times but some of her more evil actions (like sharing an embarrassing photo of Henry and slandering Henry as a criminal) have gone unpunished and it’s extremely frustrating

Margaret putting Peter in the rubbish bin was also just to piss Henry off as, unbeknownst to her, Henry had set up a trap by writing in the diary that if Margaret were to do it then Henry would get in trouble because he would be blamed only for the plan to work and Margaret to get kicked out.

I always see Moody Margaret as a combination of Veruca Salt and Regina George, mainly because she's a brat and gets everything she wants (Like Veruca) and she's obsessed with the colour pink (Like Regina).

She reminds me of Chloe Bourgeois From Miraculous Ladybug. Both have pretty absent parents, Chloe’s Mother & Margaret’s Father. The Parents both buy their kids loads and loads of presents to make up for not being around a lot.

Karinne from Tuttle Twins, Boscha and initially Amity from The Owl House, Andrea Davenport from The Ghost and Molly McGee (initially), LaCienega from The Proud Family, Sasha from Camp Camp, the other Sasha from Amphibia (initially), Bridget Fitzsimmons from F is for Family, Devin from Big Mouth, the list goes on… some characters may be bossy brats but undergo character development (i.e. Amity Blight, Sasha Waybright, Andrea Davenport), while others are full-on bossy brats. Maybe, just maybe.
Plot twist: She's a bootleg version of Frankie from Fosters home for imaginary friends created by that Sweet Pete ( aka how to make a spit in the face to a person who didn't deserve the fate he got. If you know you know.)

I can’t be certain of this, but I heard from a few sources that Henry’s last name may or may not be Robertson.
The problem with Horrid Henry’s parents is that they always think that Margret’s a lovely girl and they let her get away with everything and let her be mean to they’re son Henry and I think that’s just wrong and disgusting and that even though they were being polite they didn’t have to let Margret get away with everything I mean they could had done something about it like call her parents but Horrid Henry’s parents always seem to have this problem where they constantly ignore Margaret’s rude behaviour.

To be honest I don't think fuming Francesca believed Margret when she said Henry had kicked her. Since usually when she says 'don't be horrid Henry' she says it a stern and angry tone yet here she just kinda sighed in a way and just told him. I think the only reason she said 'don't be horrid Henry' is because Margret had already made stupid demands earlier and just didn't want to cause a scene
I almost feel sorry for Margaret, her parents absolutely set her up for failure by enabling her like they did. She's definitely to blame for everything she does, but her parents played a huge role in shaping her behaviour.

You’re right there - Moody Margaret is very tyrannical, selfish, spoiled, arrogant, snobbish, and very bratty at times - one time, her parents took her to Henry’s house for a week or two. She also thought that just because she’s the guest means she gets to be cruel to the whole family - really Margaret?! Also, in another episode, she tries to steal Henry’s comic and make him do embarrassing things just for fun, and she never got punished for it at all! But she knows how it feels to be mistreated when Henry tells Margaret one time that she can’t be included in a pirate game full of boys. Good for her.
