Seriously Cabana Bay is SO SO SO SO underrated. So many fun activities and the food is actually so yummy!! We LOVE cabana Bay
That's what brings up a small downside: the cafeteria can get crowded QUICKLY. If you're taking advantage of early entry to the parks, you better make sure you set aside enough time to wait in line at the cafeteria.
The fact that you're right by Volcano Bay makes it worth it by its own honestly, but even without that it's a really cool and packed resort hotel!
My favorite thing about Universal hotels is the text service. I love being able to ask someone a question at any time.
Molly, the fitness center is pronounced Jack LaLane. He was a fitness guru popular from the 60's- 80's. I think most popular in the 70's. -more cute theming on the hotel's part.
My mom watched him all the time when I was really little
I have to say... I grew up watching him! lol I was thrilled to see that center there and my son worked out every day on his vacation time too!
My mom had a Jack Lalanne power juicer when I was younger lol
Seems that Universal is jumping far ahead of Disney as far as value for your money. This hurts my Disney heart.

As soon as I sore the 1 hour video and heard staycation I was like its time to get excited.... ❤️❤️
We stayed at Adventura across the street and used the Sapphire's water taxi to get to the parks so you could probably walk across the street from Cabana Bay too and use that mode of transportation!
We love It at universal. If you want we walk across the street from cabana to adventura/sapphire falls it is pretty quick, then we hop on the boat at sapphire falls which drops u off pretty close.
I love Cabana Bay Beach Resort. I've stayed there in 2016, 2017, and 2019 in different room types for my Universal family vacation trips. Our next trip will be in the fall and we'll be staying at Lowes Royal Pacific. I highly recommend staying at Universal hotels for family vacations. All of them have amenities and are worth the stays.

I LOVE Cabana Bay! They gave me a free upgrade to a suite for my birthday one year and I've only had great experiences there! 🙌
I've stayed at Royal Pacific, Cabana Bay and endless summer surfside over the past 18 months and have enjoyed them all. I probably won't stay at Cabana Bay again because I spend the whole day at the park but if you're someone that enjoys the pool I recommend staying here over endless summer surfside.
I loved the lazy river so much that I spent a day at the pool instead of taking a taxi downtown on my last day of vacation there.

And when everything turns back to normal they have free movie nights at the pool and so much fun activities. I'll never stay on Disney property ever again or they significantly need to upgrade their offerings for a better price. Universal is the new Disney for me.

Love the variety of series on the channel! The staycation hotel tours are great for new and repeat visitors. Seems like there’s always a bunch of stuff at the hotels we miss running back and forth to the parks.

Cabana Bay was awesome! I loved it! You could walk to the next resort and take a boat to inside the park area! And you had bowling, great food and swimming. Just beautiful!

Stayed here in October and loved it. So much so that we’re going back in March for 5 nights.
I’m an older fart, but even with a lot of kids here, the place has a very cool, relaxed vibe. We live in South Florida and go to Orlando every year, for the past 25 years, but it’s always a WDW moderate or value resort.
Cabana Bay blew them all away in every way.

Loved this video and seeing more on Universal Resorts! I’d love to see Molly stay at the other resorts especially Portofino Bay! You don’t hear or see much on the Universal Resorts like you do Disney Resorts. But I’d also love to see Molly stay at every resort Universal and Disney both! Love how she gives info on everything, tries the food, and shows the rooms and the whole resort itself! Thank you for these vids!❤️

Best video she has ever done. Very well done!! Can’t wait to return to this hotel in June! We love it a lot. Was glad to be able to see what’s currently going on- bummed to see hot tubs not open! Cabana Bay is always a highlight to our vacation experience
My late father grew up in the 50s and 60s. He said the Girl Scouts in his classes could not stop talking about s'mores.
TOTALLY loving the retro vibe. And the lobby has a straight up 50s/60s Americana Hotel feel....the one that used to be in Miami. The bit with the trees in the middle is really similar to the one that they had.

My sister and I stayed there for HHN a few years ago and it was THE BEST! The pools are awesome, the rooms are cute and comfy for a decent price, and the whole vibe is just fun
We love everything about Cabana Bay and have stayed there twice! We are trying out Hard Rock in December. We would LOVE to see Molly cover that resort! 😍
You can also walk from Cabana Bay to Sapphire and take the boat shuttles, we do that when we go, it’s super quick and lets you clear security ahead of the park.

Love the resort tour and the highlighting of all the amenities. Please do this for a stay at the Cabins at Wilderness Lodge and show how to get around the resort as well as to and from the parks.

This video was perfect timing. We will be at Cabana Bay this month. I was pleasantly surprised that the value resort has so much to offer compared to Disney’s value resorts. And $99 with pass holder discount is untouchable at Disney. I’m very excited to be a new pass holder at Universal now. I was a little hesitant still when the husband insisted we get them. Can’t wait for that lazy river. 😁
Universal's Cabana Bay is 1000 times better than every Disney value resort.
I adored my stay at Cabana Bay back at Christmas! We stayed in American and it made everything so convenient. We'll definitely be staying there again. If you have a picky eater in your group it's a great place to stay.

My first time in Orlando we stayed and the endless summer resort and it was fine but not anything special. I wanted to switch it up next time and picked cabana bay because it was another value resort and was just blown away by how pretty and nice it was definitely returning for any future trips

They have the best breakfast potatoes! We have always enjoyed staying at this resort. The last stay was in one of the of the Volcano Bay view rooms and the walk to our room was long and painful after a full day in the parks.
I really wanted to stay here but my in-laws are coming and I needed to stay off property to financially afford the trip. Next time we go to Orlando, I definitely want to stay here! It has EVERYTHING.
Cabana Bay is fun. Only stay at that hotel for the lazy river. I can’t wait until Aventura and SF opens back up!
