From rides to snacks, she has over 25 magical activities on her list. How does Universal find people who can keep a straight face every single time they get asked about Platform 9 3/4 and have to pretend to have no idea what people are talking about?
hey! i actually work at the express and its part of our training!!! the idea is that when were in our blue vests were muggles and red vests is witches/wizards!! so fun and kids get so into it! hope this helped!!
I only wish all the Team Members at the Wizarding World were able to speak with a British Accent, to make the magic feel more real.

Imagine if they made an actual Hogwarts castle as accurate as it can be in real life and had a resort experience where you had to take the train to get there, could sleep in the dormitories, go to classes, mandatory dress code being Hogwarts robes, etc. I saw somewhere saying it would cost around $170 million dollars to build, this seems like a drop in the hat for Warner Bros.
while it isn’t exactly the same, there is a castle in england where they do an annual larping event where you are sorted and can attend classes. it’s called bothwell school of witchcraft, and is heavily inspired by harry potter, but could not be called hogwarts due to copyright. momo o’brien did a great video about it in her channel if you want to know more :)
Agreed. I would have loved to pay for that experience, especially the Sorting Hat and asked for Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. With respect to Potions, just exchanging insults with Snape, Malfoy, Pansy, Goyle, Zabini, and other Slytherin cretins would be worth the cost of a ticket!

Nifflers actually are in Harry Potter. In the 4th book Hagrad actually teaches a lesson on them, the children each get to take one and let it loose in the pumpkin patch to find Leprechaun gold that Hagrad has buried. That’s when Ron finds out that the gold he paid Harry back for the Omnioculars at the World Cup disappeared.
I think she mentioned them being in the books.

So I recently went to Universal Studios Orlando / IOA and OBVIOUSLY went on Gringotts. While we were waiting in line in the first grand bank teller room with the chandeliers and goblins... I didn’t know you could interact with the goblins!!! I asked one of them “hey! Can you look at me”? And it literally looked up from its paperwork and creepily turned its head directly at me!! I tried it with multiple goblins and it worked every time!!! So crazy!!!
Hearing Molly make a Hobbit reference makes me appreciate her even more! 😊

The Harry Potter kids meals are my biggest money saving tip as well! With mobile order, any potential issues of “is this allowed?” have disappeared.
Potter Collector also showed that you could get a side of eggs and a side of bacon for $2 each. Flat out bargain! Especially for those of us doing keto.

I'm an Aussie and when I went to the States a few years back I visited Universal Studios in Orlando...whilst I was waiting in a cue for something in Hogsmeade I spotted a squirrel run across the snow caped roof of one of the buildings and I thought that was so perfect...we don't have squirrels in Oz so it was pleasant to have that memory of my visit...probably nothing to you guys, but lovely for us Aussies...also, being in Hogsmeade at dusk is divine...

I always do the Hogwarts Express first thing too! Don’t reveal my secret! 🤪 I always figure no one wants to travel park-to-park as soon as they get into the park, so I treat it as my first ride!

Love this! I’m planning a one-day trip to Universal/IOA for our first time and was concerned about being able to do much of HP, but it looks like we can, even though we will not be able to do much of the other stuff in the parks.

Yes lol just got back. Got in after 5pm and was done with the entire park by 10. NO LINES. Got on forbidden journey back to back. Insane. Hagrids was the only difficult thing

Absolutely love the wizarding world videos! Don’t get me wrong I LOVE the Disney parks and enjoy those videos so much. However Harry Potter is my true nerd thing so these videos make me endlessly happy !! I know that when I finally get to go to the Wizarding world of Harry Potter I will definitely cry.
You'll feel that way when you enter Honeydukes and actually see all the incredible confections seen in the movie. Ditto for shopping in the souvenir shop after exiting Ollivander's Wand shop: lots of great stuff there. You'll find Hogwarts House robes hanging from a clothes rack and wands galore in long boxes stacked on shelves that reach to the ceiling.
Agreed Hagrids is so so good! My favorite ride ever.

Please keep the Universal-Videos coming. I especially enjoy the Potter-Content. Maybe you could do the perfect day immersion wise? Like, you start at London as if you just received your letter, exchange money at Gringotts, shop for books, robes, wand and a pet in the same order as Harry did and then take the train to Hogsmeade for Hogwarts, Honeydukes and so on. Which order would make sense for the rides and which snacks or meals would you add?

I just went with my daughter for her 29th birthday! We are both big Potter fans! I got her a birthday pin from guest services and we went to the wand choosing and they chose her! I was sooo happy I cried lol! Hope you enjoy your trip and happy birthday! ❤️

I finally got to ride Hagrid's in January... it is absolutely a marvel of theming.
I waited 6 hrs a while back at my local theme park Kings island, I'm so excited going to Universal for the first time at the end of Aug my friend and his gf work there! He was actually in the back of one of your videos 😁
One of the things Universal does better than anyone else is the lines! I literally have a great time being entertained by the lines!

I was in Universal last week. I tried that exact combination of icecream. It was amazing. I was surprised I liked the sticky toffee pudding better than the strawberry peanut butter.

I had to rewatch this video because I'm missing Universal after my trip in May and realized THIS IS THE ONE...I ate my ice cream in literally that same spot because I couldn't find anywhere else and remembered the tip from one of the many videos I watched. PRO TIP right there.

Those rides at HP got me 🤣. Definitely whipped me around... Wasn't expecting it lol. If you get an express pass you can def get through all the rides with enough time to do both restaurants and other stuff. Most merch in stores are about the same fyi.
I think the lesson here is don’t go to Universal when COVID and spring break collide.

Isn’t it pretty similar in Disney too? The rules might be stricter but I’m sure people do the same with their masks. I just wouldn’t go for a few months or this year at all to either of them. *Even with the vaccine*
@@ima.m.1658 no, at Disney you aren't allowed to remove the mask unless you are standing stationary to eat etc. You can't walk around without on and you certainly can't remove it standing in line. They will gently remind you to put it back on, but if you continue to pull it down or refuse to put it back on, you're kicked out.
when the parks were just beginning to reopen everyone wore masks and the parks were extremely strict about it. i didn’t see a single person without a mask unless they were eating or in a designated resting area the few times i’ve gone. but i also haven’t been on spring break and i know the parks were at capacity then so i’m not rly surprised
Oh Molly I thought I was the only one that put syrup all over my breakfast and everyone thinks I am weird, glad to see you do it too. Fun day even if the parks were a bit busier than earlier in the year
You have to try Butter Bear with a shot of Fire whiskey added! I had it with frozen BB and it was amazing.
100% agree on the choice of "Shrewd" for Slytherin. That bugs me so much!! Cunning or ambitious would have been so much better
