35:50 Have you ever taken the water taxi? You can just walk to Sapphire Falls to the water taxi and it takes you right into City Walk. It's free for all Universal Hotel customers -- just show them your room card.
Great job as always, Molly. I agree that robot delivery would be a great addition to the Galactic Starcruiser. Just another example of how Universal is beating Disney at it's own game. And for far less money.

I LOVE seeing the Universal resort tours. They make me excited about staying there in ways the Disney ones don't always. Pricing, overcrowding, and value make a huge difference!
Molly- Adventura has it's own back gate to Volcano Bay! You don't have to go through Cabana Bay resort to get there. 🙂
yeah I was so surprised you literally just walk out the back of the pool by the hot tub and you’re AT volcano bay. they need better signage though I walked around the hotel trying to find it before I asked an employee
Aventura is my go to resort at Universal. I like the vibe and it's much quieter than the other Universal resorts or the Disney resorts.
Weird question but did you have problem fitting your legs under the work desk? I saw someone in a review mention that they had troubles doing so, stated she was small (5’2) as well. Not sure if that was nonsense or a truth.
It wouldn’t be a deal breaker as we already have it reserved for next year and have no intentions on switching resorts. Just wondering
I've always been a HUGE disney person but in the last 3 or so years I have slowly been falling in love with Universal more and more. I'm a resort girl and the fact that they have really great resorts at awesome prices is what really pushed me over the edge plus the Universal Parks are just such fun, I could spend all day in the Harry Potter areas! It's nice to have an alternative to Disney, who unfortunately, really feels like it's pricing people out more and more every day. BTW, Relay was SO CUTE!!
I don’t think I know anything about Adventura, so I’m interested to see this deep dive into the resort. I’m watching this morning with a Starbucks cold brew in hand, which only feels right when watching Molly

We just returned from a 2 week stay at Endless Summer and cannot recommend Universal highly enough. We are completely converted from Disney thanks to the hotel, parks and perks. If we return, then we'd definitely consider Aventura. Thank you!

Great review. I stayed at Aventura and Cabana Bay. They are both incredibly good for the price. I think Aventura is better for people who just want a peaceful quiet stay with less walking while Cabana Bay has more things to do. Since Aventura is next to Sapphire Falls, the water taxi was our favorite option to get to the park. We never took the bus when we stayed there.
I love that Universal has beautiful resorts at affordable prices! (Can't believe this is same or less than Disney All Stars.)

I upstated adventurer multiple times and been impressed both times. Last time we stayed with my brother and his wife who have stayed a very exclusive hotels and they thought it was fabulous too. Another great feature if you walk to Sapphire falls you can catch the boat to the theme parks cuts off a lot of walking and is a lovely way to get to the parks. The rooftop bar is such a lovely way to spend the evening and on some nights they even have live bands. The bartenders at the bar both in the lobby and the roof were excellent and made us custom drinks. If you need to do laundry they have it on three of the floors it was very clean and very convenient. For the money you spend this hotel is a fabulous find. We went in off times so the express pass would not have even been a benefit. I have stayed in the resorts that do provide the express pass and they are lovely too but as adults without children this is our favorite.
We stayed at Aventura in November last year. The staff was amazing! It was my sons birthday and they sent the robot to our room with some cake pops. My kid was so excited!
My husband hurt his knee and I called to ask for an ice pack. It was delivered to us in less than 3 minutes. Again, staff is amazing!
We had a great time. Our room was right under the roof bar so we could hear the music but it wasn't too terrible in order for us to sleep.
I went in August 2019 and fell in love with the resort and now I’m going again next week!
Bar 17 is a top notch venue.
Thank you Universal for making your hotels affordable unlike Disney. I’m a huge Disney fan but I’m slowly becoming a HUGE universal fan! My husband and I work to hard to blow our money on just hotels.

Ok, I actually love this resort. It's so close to Sapphire Falls, so you can utilize anything they have at their resort, but it's ultimately much less expensive. The food is decent, the halls are short (so you never have to walk a long way at the end of the night after a long park day), and the iPads in the rooms are very handy. The only real negative for me is that the pool is quite small, but there's a hot tub and pool bar. I've never been in the rooftop bar, but it's nice knowing it's there if that's your thing.

This was a great video! Thank you! I reserved this hotel yesterday on a whim without knowing anything about it so this reassured me. We're going in January on a random Tuesday. I'm going to surprise my husband by ordering something from room service to be delivered by that adorable robot 🤖 🤫 😁

I stayed at dockside, loved it.. checking this one soon.
We stayed at this hotel in November of 2018 so it was still pretty new. We got locked out of our room twice. Once our card didn’t work (that was right at the beginning) and then another time somehow the door guard lock shut behind us so they had to get a locksmith to come use a special tool to get us in. Apparently it was happening quite often. The staff was really friendly and surprisingly quick to fix it so I was happy with the experience overall.
I'll be staying there in August! I am going alone for my 30th, so because it has an "adult feel" is exactly one of the reasons I chose to book my stay at Aventure rather than Cabanna bay where I have stayed before. Thanks for the video!

We stayed here in Feb 2020 for a Universal weekend. We like this hotel. I didn't know about the robot delivering items, if we stay there again I'll have to surprise my guy with this! I liked that we were able to walk from the hotel, too! Thanks for all the info!

Just got back from staying at Aventura! Beds were definitely firm but pillows were decent. The garden walk was ridiculously long. It is much easier cutting through Sapphire Falls and taking the water taxi.
My B/F and I stayed there on our last trip and we had a fantastic view of Volcano Bay.
Strongwater is my favorite place!! also hack-very very quick walk over to SF and can take the boat at SF to parks as well...

I'm a fan of Aventura. It is small and compact and easy to use. For a less intense vacation with less emphasis on riding rides, it is a fantastic value. The upper level hotels with Express pass are great, but sometimes that can be a waste of money - for example if you fly in very late or fly out very early and don't want to pay for an Express Pass hotel. Or if you are leaving early for Disney, why pay for a wasted day of Express pass at Universal? Plus, the walk to Volcano Bay is very quick and simple without scarey streets to cross. Overall an easy hotel at a good price.
Stayed there twice. Super reasonably priced. Take water taxis from sapphire falls. It’s our back up hotel for Universal after Royal Pacific.

It’s so wonderful to the best day ever AllEars Molly videos suggested at Universal’s hotels. Mollys videos are SOOO helpful. I feel so prepared as a DIE HARD Harry Potter nerd to visit The Wizarding world of Harry Potter. She puts in so much attention to detail….. it’s amazing. I almost will like to see her in the park just to wave and thank her for all of the time she spends in these parks day after day providing so much USEFUL information like Fiddle Faddle it’s GENIUS! Stayed in Aventura a few years ago during the off season. It was okay as a hotel, but restaurant was a ghost town, food options are limited, had to use Doordash because everything was closed in the early evening.
Also there was some type of private party at the roof bar and it was hard to sleep for one night.
Preferred my stay at Cabana Bay, stayed at the Bay Towers to be close to VB and have the VB view. Only bad part was that the towers are a walk to the lobby, buses, restaurants. Best was Royal Pacific over Hard Rock. If you are okay with the prices.
My husband and I both worked for Cingular Wireless. That’s where we met! The logo was named Jack. Great review as always. We will keep this or Cabana Bay in mind for a future trip.

There is a path back behind the pool to get to volcano bay. Thought I’d mention it because you said you can walk to cabana bay. You need to go back by the hot tubs and it’s a very small garden path to volcano bay. Very cool. I love aventura! Thank you for making the video!
Glad that there are awesome alternatives to Disney resorts now. Sad that Disney has fallen so far from what they used to be.
Love Universal videos!! Is the walk from Adventura shorter or longer than from Cabana Bay? I cannot remember the distance from CB, but my son and I loved the walk. We are introverts so just did not want to start the day with strangers on a bus, lol, the walk is quiet and peaceful.
Stay here a lot. Agree, more adult feel which works for us. We have stayed everywhere except Hardrock. When the fam goes, Saphire Falls better because of pool. The is best value for a couple. Employees are all super. Love the mobile check in. A beautiful walk to the park (or you can take the water tax.) Pool better at Saphire Falls,but this one fine for the price. Going twice in June, so we like it, lol.

Favorite part is you can stay at this value resort and be within walking distance to everything. Especially Strongwater.
Awesome. we just stayed at Aventura. really loved it. stayed at mostly all the high end hotels on property before. I would suggest a skyline view facing the parks just awesome. would drink my coffee while watching the rides start testing . Beautiful views at night also. I would not take the busses. I would suggest taking a short 5 minute walk to Cabana hotel next door and catch the water taxi. Never had any issues very efficient. We did this most of our stay. I did take a nice walking trail to citiwalk which I enjoyed. You can do your security check at water taxi very fast and efficient. The burgers at hotel I though were very good and reasonable.
Water taxi don't run to Cabana Bay. They run to the other resort next to Aventura, Sapphire Falls.

To get interior hallway 🚪 at that price on theme park property is 🤪. Such a nice room at Motel 6 rates. Unlike Disney that serves Motel 6 rooms at 4 Seasons rates. (Pop Century for over $300 is Ridiculous-Disney be Ashamed, Very Ashamed!) Their food is much better at Universal too. That Robot 🤖 delivery is incredible 👏. Disney you're dropping the ball again. Why is that Not at the Galactic Star Cruiser?! You pay $6k for 2 nights there! For that price you should have a 🤖 that follows you around.
I am also cringing at the I4 view as a Canadian who visited Florida a few months ago. And unintentionally got on the I4 while driving there for the first time. 😅

"i'm a monster that never unpacks her things" preech sista! i mean whenever i stay at a hotel it's usually for a convention, and the only thing i "hang up" would be a dress or something that i might need for Saturday night or something. I haven't been to one since 2018 (19)wow i need a vacation. I haven't been to universal since 2016.....

This was great we are booked in here for our holiday this year, I think we have made a great choice as it’s very easily accessible to international drive and universal! What items can you ask for the robot to bring.. we will defo be doing that. Any more tips for us on our first holiday in this area? 🇬🇧

there's a direct walk way from Aventura to Volcano Bay. You don't need to go to Cabana Bay

I'm going to Disney and Universal
After our next Disney trip in a few days, we are planning a universal trip. Ive researched Universal's top tier. It was too expensive for me. I rent DVC points and stay at Swan or Dolphin to still get perks with Disney. Are there options like that with Universal?

Try booking well ij advance. I got hard rock for 5 nights for less than 300 a night I booked over a year in advance though
