Me and buddies would do this all the time lol all you had to do would raise your hands at certain spots and the sensors would trigger the “SIT DOWN!” Lol
Amazing quality, as usual. I loved how you captured this footage right at dusk.
What a fantastic flume ride. Great theming, good spacing of the flume logs (so you don't feel like you're on top of other riders). And, best of all, I love how choppy the water is.
I remember years ago when they used to have people standing on the side shaking bells at you!
I wish more log flumes were themed like this and are this long. Most of them just go up and turn then drop back into the station
King Fresh but splash mountain is 10 minutes long.... lol and very exciting
right :) but that is one out of the 3 themed log flumes in the world:(

Back in 2001 they had people jump out and actually grab the log and scare the crap out you! What the hell happened!?
Aaron Johnson rumor has it that there was an accident and one of the actors fell and got ran over by one of the logs and was seriously injured. Some say that she wasn't wearing her safety equipment. At least that's what I heard but I don't know the whole story.

One of the actors took off the tether to her harness to take a selfie and fell into the flume. Then a log hit her and seriously injured her is what I heard

10/10 rode this with my friends when I was like 12, we rode it, and I rode in the back. Almost fell out....but it was fun!

I remember back in like 2012 I went that year and they had actual actors scaring people on the ride it was super cool this looked cool too tho kinda like a Haunted Mansion type ride lol

Not a bad ride. You can tell that you are moving very quickly, which I kind of like in a dark ride like this. The one problem I have with the ride is the voice yelling, "Sit Down," and the one telling you not to lean forward before the last drop.

I think the max speed is 12 meters per second
It does seem faster than it usually is. they probably added more water to increase the flow rate. (I used to like about half an hour from Knott's and went there at least once a year).
I loved the video, but it's nothing like experiencing with actual people on the ride and hearing their screams and expressions.
When you guys were going down the first drop, why did it keep saying "sit down, sit down"?

Sunshine Sky oh I love freaking people out with that! So basically if someone actually stands up then yeah there’s a sensor that yells at you, but if you are tall enough and raise your arms then it thinks your a person standing and yells at you lol

Its gotten a lot more lame the then it was last year. Also those flashing lights could affect anyone with a condtion,
TankCop The flashing lights are in almost every dark ride/haunted house. They always have signs to warn people.

@@kevinkrupski246 what I meant by "no theme" Is that there is no story behind it. I know that it's a classic log ride at Knotts berry farm. But it depends on it's popularity and it's experience.
