ourselves doesn’t matter what we wouldn’t want exactly apparently trust them but we have no clue how they would feel when they do not know that the people that are going through it are not going back and doing it because they don’t have their best interest first and then the rest try explain that they have no idea how it works or what it’s actually like because it doesn’t really bad explain that it’s not the people they have their worst fears for the world that are the people who will die from this and that are not the same ones happening either

I understand why, but with no live actors in this and the Mine Ride I pass on both when visiting. I started going in the 80s and those two rides were always the highlight of Scary Farm. Especially the mine ride because you are sort of trapped in those slow moving train cars.
I got stuck on the mine ride last night for over 30 minutes. Truly the scariest part of my night. I actually liked Timber Mountain, though I never got to see it in it's former glory.
Yeah even in the 90s they had ppl in there and the mine ride, even tho they don't want to put real ppl in there anymore for safety concerns it still doesn't mean they can't think of some animatronic or any scares to get you instead of just cobwebbing and lights which are pretty but they could be doing more especially with the money they rake in for this stuff.
My friends and I went on the ride during Halloween this year and one of my friends never rode the Halloween version, let alone the regular one and when the alien showed up (he has a fear of aliens), he banged his head on the seat in front of him trying to hide from it. My whole group couldn't stop laughing.
Darkvina The Reaper Girl First of all, you can’t compare mazes and rides, they are very different things. Secondly, some people fine mazes to be terrifying, but rides, not so much.
I remember at least 13-14 years ago, there were live actors on parts of the ride. Same with the mine train. And was hell of a lot creepier lol even 4 years ago, there was hardly any fog in the ghost town. Based off the current videos, looks like knotts stepped it up a bit, at least.
I'm going to Knott's Scary Farm tonight and I small part of me is like "Thank god theirs no actors." while another part is like "Damnit I want the actors."
So want to ride something have not been to amusement park since this pandemic especially miss disneyland was not able to celebrate my b day which was March 31st at Disneyland this yr.
No more scare actors, no more werewolf transformation projection, no more monster band at the end? If they’re going to subtract stuff they need to add new stuff too! :(

Seems to me this year there's a lot of repeats & not enough new mazes. And as Benjamin says, the Log ride is much better with scare actors. Without em, it's pretty bland.
Digi-Akuma We got 2 excellent new ones and we had 2 really good new ones last year. Knotts doesn’t have a Universal budget. They can’t just get 5 new mazes each year.

Digi-Akuma Dude, have you SEEN Origins and Wax Works? Those mazes must’ve cost a pretty penny. I’d rather have 2 really good mazes than 4 or 5 half assed ones.
There were also SO MANY scare actors in those mazes, and they don't pack you in like sardines like Universal seems to. Wax Works was REALLY good, my favorite maze I've done this year out of both KSF and HHN. This was my first KSF, so it was all new to me. I really enjoyed it ☺
