The second drop was the best bit about this ride! The projection on the ceiling inside the tunnel were impressive at first but didn't change so was a bit boring after a while. And they could have disguised all the steel girders around the exit to the drops. Shame as this could have been a great attraction.
I think they could of done more with the inside part but I still love this. It reminds me of my childhood when we had a flume at our local park. Rocky Point Park in Warwick, RI. Unfortunately it closed in the 90s. My favorite place and the flume was my favorite ride.
Also is this made by the same manufacturer as the flume system used by the Orlando and Tokyo Splash Mountains? The ride vehicle seems to be in a very similar 2x4 seating arrangement
Most log flumes are designed with specific water management and ride mechanics to minimize the amount of water that splashes onto riders. Here are a few reasons why many log flume rides don't get you excessively wet: Water Channel Design: The flume's water channel is often designed to guide water away from the riders, using gravity and strategic angles to direct water flow. Splash Zones: Rides may include designated splash zones that are positioned away from the seating areas or strategically located to control when and how much water splashes onto riders. Ride Speed and Motion: The speed and motion of the boat can influence how much water is splashed. If the boat moves smoothly and at a controlled speed, it tends to create less turbulence, resulting in less water being splashed out. Drop Shape and Height: The shape and height of the drops influence the splash created. A more gradual drop may allow water to flow more smoothly, while steep drops may create larger splashes but are often designed to minimize this effect. Seating Design and Placement: The design of the seating and how passengers are positioned in the flume also plays a role. Some rides have higher sides on the boats or barriers that help shield passengers from large splashes. Water Levels: The water levels in the flume can be maintained at specific heights to control the amount of water that can splash onto riders. Overall, the engineering and design considerations involved in creating log flume rides aim to provide a fun experience while keeping riders dry, or at least not completely soaked, which enhances overall enjoyment.
That looks like a really fun ride! But it looked like you were the only one in the park. That Ferris wheel is HUGE! What was the big metal structure you went under just before the first drop? It looked like a tension wheel for a sky ride.
The "wheel" structure they are under is actually the rotating platform before the final drop! Both drops come from the same cavern area, just above one another and facing different directions.
I'm on the fence. The drops were good and the decor was a good base for some kind of theme. But where were the animatronics? Or at least some music?! It's like yawn, yawn yawn, scream, yawn, yawn, SCREAM, get out!
The stepstools and wiring everywhere might have given away it was not working that great today😅 makes me wonder how many times he´s got stuck on a ride.
Its like they gave up theming it half way through. Such a shame nothing more interesting could be created in terms of theming or story to the ride. Instead just throw a bunch of light up crystals and uncovered scaffolding in there D:
@@olympicbuilder-JHKimaginnering It's not terrible, and it's definitely better than no theming at all. The problem is that it's so close to greatness that it's glaringly obvious where it falls short.
What you want to get for a $40 full day experience with empty queue? I think that this park did well. The thing here just they should add the soundtrack to the ride. Alot of ride out there don’t even have theme.
What a nice relaxing ride, IF YOU CAN HEAR ANYTHING OVER THE SOUND OF THE JET ENGINES THAT APPARENTLY RUN THE RIDE!
WHAAAAAAAAAT
It must be the roar of the volcano... lava and steam are noisy! ;-)
SO TRUE SO TRUE
Came here to talk about this even though no one can hear me lol
@@SandraSouperI couldn’t hear you. Can you repeat what you said?
Nice park very good
That Looks Like a Pretty Fun Ride! 😍 Reminds somewhat of Pompeii at Busch Gardens VA! ❤

Love 💕 it ❤

Expedition Everest ahh water ride
No other people on the ride how awesome! 👏🏻👏🏻
didn't look like any other people at the park period
Amazing 😍👍
Cool relaxing water ride
super 💛💛💛💥🐥🐥🐥🌻🌻🌻💮
Great way to cool off during a hot day.
This is a nice experience to see.
I love a relaxing log flume. The best in the UK was Alton Towers but they've removed it to build a wooden coaster.
This looks like something straight out of rollercoaster tycoon or planet coaster 😂
I like it, very peacefull

Looks like Whitewater's log flume as it has pre-lift conveyor belt system.
Looks like Wild West Falls from WB movie world

They actually had the area music but they didn’t use it 😅 may be because the ride is pretty new so they not turn it on yet…
The stepstools and wiring everywhere might have given away it was not working that great today😅 makes me wonder how many times he´s got stuck on a ride.
That sounds scary and even more scariest.
Low attendance day??? Did not know there was that kind of ride there....
Vietnam 🇻🇳
This ride seems really loud!!
Very cool (except the metal staircase inside the volcano)
Why is the park so empty? Was this filmed just before the gates opened?
This ride not opening yet when i was there 😅
Who cares about the water ride, that ferros wheel is massive and looks absolutely terrifying to me!! 🤣
Why is nobody going on this ride?
Joui
Loud Ride
Super weird, that cave looks Sci-fi Demonic.
Decent ride, but it doesn't seem to have anything relating to the Amazon

Like..at least throw some animatronic dinos in there or something, it's so plain 😭
Amazon Volcano Flume Water Ride is too intense for me. 😕
No way this place is called phu qouc island I am dying of laughter
This ride needs improvement!
Rather bland honestly its like they just scrapped potentially months worth of features and everything's just blank.
The theming is so generic it hurt my eyes. Kinda feels like a cut-rate copycat of Chiapas at Phantasialand.
Well basically it’s good for a park from small county and only take us $40 full day experience with no queue 😅
@@olympicbuilder-JHKimaginnering It's not terrible, and it's definitely better than no theming at all. The problem is that it's so close to greatness that it's glaringly obvious where it falls short.
Okay and literally every ride is a copy of another ride
Boring 😴... All that money in that mountain and nothing inside. Feels like a waste.
Theming sucks. Sorry.

I not like the ride ok
Boring! Just loud, unwanted engine noise? No music, no real theme? What a BS Ride!
Is that it? Pretty lame
