I bought pole holders from Amazon and rigged up some basic plywood to fit like the chairs do and then attached the pole holders to them. I'm planning to upgrade it to an aluminum version. I'll try to make a video of it if I do.
@Holdun Reed thank you for the reply. I was looking on Amazon for the tube holder and found a 12 pole holder that is aluminum and is 17.5 inches wide for around $50 I might give it a try if it will fit on the floor...considering price of those tubes now and wood. First off amazing video. I was trying to decide between the Raider and the Prowler. But your video changed my mind completely. I ordered one and will go pick it up in a few months. I could see how you ran the wiring for the trolling motor. Did you build the mount to hold the battery?
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it and it helped you. I did build that mount. I've been doing it on my plastic boats for years. Just go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy a couple of the really strong steel corner braces and then secure them to the back plate with a 1/4 inch bolts. I had to drill out the holes on this boat. Be sure to use really wide washers to distribute the weight evenly and have rubber washers underneath to prevent rain water getting in. I'll add the link to the braces. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Forgot to add that I rigged some hooks into the top with the same bolts for extra security. They're really not needed but I like the peace of mind of knowing that battery isn't going anywhere.
