I turned 18 in 1984, the year Beverly Hills Cop came. Best time to be alive, great new movies came out literally every week.
84 was an amazing year for film. Spinal Tap, Terminator, Temple of Doom and 2010 just to name of a few.

One of my favorite franchises. I watched these as a kid. I loved all three films. Note: The third one wasn’t well received compared to the other ones and Jerry Bruckheimer wasn’t involved in the third entry in the series and that’s one of the reasons why it wasn’t as well received as the others. I just saw an interview with Eddie Murphy discussing what happened then with Jerry Bruckheimer not continuing with the third film and that it will be good and more well received with the latest film because they got Jerry Bruckheimer back. So I caution you when watching the third film that some things are different from usual because of Jerry Bruckheimer’s absence. But personally I loved all three Beverly Hills Cop films. Something about that third film that just made it good for me even though it wasn’t as well-received. But I don’t want to give no spoilers for any of the films. If you going to watch all three, enjoy the first two and caution when watching the third film realize that some things are different but the film is still really good. And Hector Elizondo was in it in his earlier roles and he was really good in it. The very first role I’ve seen him in and I thought he was excellent.
I wonder if that be a good little marathon to have a live stream watch along 🤔

The best Eddie Murphy film that I absolutely loved is Beverly Hills Cop1! 2 and 3 were also good but Cop1 can't be beat. Cop4 is a huge disappointment!

BVC III was so bad I thought it was a joke and it can't get worse than that one. All the Mascots and those cheesy rides. It was horrible.
